ParticipantIt would be very Rumpelstiltskin if she accidentally did something that was meant to help them but actually ended up separating them from her. Like okay, we saw with the Lizard, she made a very, very vague wish and it backfired.
Or maybe Amarra’s power comes from the fact that she used to be a genie and Cyrus and his brothers tried to find a way to free her without consequences and they did, except they were all cursed to be genie’s.

ParticipantOkay, who cursed the boys and made them genie’s? If Amara is their mother, I can’t see her doing something like on that purpose. Or maybe she did accidentally and has been trying to reverse the laws of magic because she screwed up.
It would be nice to have one parent on this show that feels horrible for past misdeeds. The sultan still doesn’t regret anything.

ParticipantI love how JMo teased Colin, what was Hook thinking for a year without Emma. It reminded me of this great comic strip, of Hook counting the days without Emma until the Charming just got tired and sent him off to find Emma.
Or, I think it was, he was going to different places around the Enchanted Forest that reminded him of Emma in the comic. It’s a great.

ParticipantShe seemed like a sweet girl, but she was too underdeveloped as a character for me to be too invested in her. It was very sad though that she died just when she was feeling rejected. We’ll never know if Will could’ve felt something more for her once he got his heart back.
Yes.
I never really felt attached to her character too, IMO. We only had two episodes of her and it is sad she died in her return. My boyfriend commented actually, it was a very “Joss Whedon” thing to do. Because it’s pretty much routine for him in his most of his stuff, Buffy, Angel, Firefly even, to kill characters.
The sad, tragic unrequited love part of it is definitely going into my True Love meta for Wonderland when I get around to it.

ParticipantI have come across very few mean CS and Hooker fans. I like to think of us as a very laid back crowd. We live in the moment, like Killian does.

ParticipantI agree 🙂

ParticipantAnd True Love can redeem a person. Rumpelstiltskin is a perfect example here. His love for Belle helped make him strong enough to face the prophecy and do the right thing.
Same thing will probably be true for Regina once she meets Robin Hood.

ParticipantI think a lot of people don’t realize that not every character, or reformed villain isn’t going to have the same type of redemption arc. Every character’s journey is different and their redemption arc will be and IS specific to their character.
Regina’s redemption was the undoing of the curse, Rumple’s redemption was setting aside his need for power to do the right and selfless thing to save other people. Both of those actions are specific to their character arc and what they needed to do to redeem themselves.
And generally, the way I think about Hook’s redemptive arc, once you get praised by Prince Charming for being a hero — that’s it. It’s like getting being blessed by the Pope. You’re a hero, you’re redeemed and no one can take that away from you, or Hook.

ParticipantI saw a gif set on tumblr about Josh decorating the nursery and wanting the baby’s mobile to be perfect…so sweet and beautiful.

ParticipantIf one of the lines, Hook says to Emma in the premiere, is…
If Emma asks, Who are you?
And he replies: Someone who loves you…
I will be crying lots. Han and Leia reverse parallel. That would kill me.
