I read some really disheartening stuff on my tumblr.
One of my fellow CS ‘shippers has been getting repeated death threats from anons. I’m like ?!
This is taking the ‘shipper wars to a dangerous low.
No matter the differences we have and there likely going to be there for a long while, fans should NEVER, EVER send death threats to each other. I feel very protective of all my CS ‘shipmates, so it just boggles my mind when there’s a fan or two out there who does this. Thankfully, this seems to be only isolated on tumblr but this is just, really unacceptable behavior in general.
If your ‘shipper life and happiness is SO dependent on what goes on in a TV show that you fail to see how and why this is wrong, you need to stop watching the show and do something else with your life. No show is ever worth sending death threats to other people across the internet. I hope everyone understands this.

exchanging vows:”the bride and groom recite their vows, usually in the presence of witnesses.”I also don’t want the actors to feel like they have to censor themselves just to make a certain faction or two of the fandom happy. There’s censoring and then there’s trying to walk a fine with the fans, just to avoid a storm. That has to be incredibly uncomfortable to do. I don’t think the actors purposely put stuff out there to start fights (usually, it’s the fans who do that) because everyone’s focus is their ‘ship and not the story as a whole.
And I miss that. You know, when everyone cared about the story as a whole? Not just select stories?
Bless you Josh Dallas! He really has a great attitude towards the whole ‘shipper wars (or as I like to call, unnecessary hate). I think a lot of people forget, ‘ships are a fandom thing. Once is more than a show about ‘ships. It’s about a story and the relationships happen to be a part of it.
Can we all just enjoy the story Adam and Eddie write without involving the nastiness that are ‘shipper wars?!
I love this confession so much. I mean, really, if everyone in the OUAT fandom had this attitude about love life, there would be fewer ‘shipper wars, less hate and peace everywhere! Even as a CS ‘shipper, I want Emma to end up with someone who makes her happy. I just really don’t see how that person is Neal when he’s responsible for so much pain in her life and she’s already confronted that pain and doesn’t want to feel that way anymore. Her confession in Ariel is a stepping stone towards Emma finding her own happy ending, emphasis on ‘own‘ happy ending.
That reminds me of an interview Jen gave:
“I think, ultimately, she is the product of true love, so genetically her makeup is going to want to find her own true love. What I’ve tried to maintain within her is that there is always this flame of hope, even if it’s the tiniest flame. Even though she is so guarded and protected, there is this little flame, and you see glimpses of it at times with the Sheriff and with Hook.”
It would be nice if ABC would at least step up promotion in these 3 weeks and at least give fans something like a promo, a sneak peek or two or even some pics from the episode but so far it’s been nothing from them Nada. I don’t know about you guys but I’m starting to get anxious for more Once Upon A Time
I’m sure we’ll get all that stuff and more the closer we get to the premiere date. It’s probably going to end up being a Once overload.

We got a new episode title.
3×19 is called ‘A Curious Thing.’
I just googled ‘Love is a Curious Thing’ and there’s a song called ‘Love is a Curious Thing’ and if we’re dealing with the death episodes later, a curious thing would be love developing between characters post-death (Hook and Emma, which is in line with their romance being mistimed but inevitable). We could also get the mystery proposal by 3×19 if the wedding is happening in the finale. But I still think that the wedding is probably Rumbelle and not CS.
