ParticipantHmm, interesting catch. I haven’t read the Oz books. I know the movie though and saw the awful sequel.

ParticipantI hate titles like this. Usually the titles are so obvious in its meaning, but this could really mean anything. Adam and Eddie wrote it though, so it’s a biggie.

ParticipantI really think she’s going to bounce back REASONABLY quickly when he dies. Because she’s already experienced it twice, she knows what it feels like. And the last time she lost him she kissed Hook not long after. That’s against the show’s canon for TL, as you guys have said MANY times before.
I think Emma will be fine too. If the death is truly story driven and Emma’s already said that she wished that Neal “died” the first time, that was a trick because it’ll be easier for her to move on — this time because it is a real death, because she’s already experienced loss with him, it will be easier. She’ll probably still grieve, that’s to be expected but it’ll be easier this time.

I really cannot stand that SF ‘shippers don’t give Emma enough credit for her street smarts. There’s this belief that Emma and Team Princesses were going to die in season 2 winter finale. No, they weren’t. I figured out that twist that they would probably use the squid ink on the scroll moments before they used. It wasn’t difficult foreshadowing to decipher. And this, that Emma hasn’t figured out that Hook stole Milah from Rumple business? First of all, you don’t steal a person. Milah was a human being and she made a choice to leave Rumple for Hook. It sucks for Rumple that she made that decision but it was her decision to make. And it’s already been confirmed by Hook that Milah chose him. Second of all, Emma is smart. She knows that Milah was Neal’s mom and she knows that Milah was Hook’s lover. She’s not an idiot.
I completely agree @obisgirl. It continually amazes me how different each sides interpretations are. I saw one SF shipper saying that Emma being away from Neal causes her pain and that’s what she meant in the Echo Cave? What?? That’s not what she said AT ALL. She hoped he was DEAD for goodness sake.
And one true love hoping their significant other is actually the opposite of how most true love’s feel when one of them dies. True Love’s hate being separated. As a rumbelle ‘shipper, I don’t like when they’re separated but like Jane said, obstacles are a part of romance. But that thinking that being separated from Neal causes her pain, that’s probably true to some degree but being with him doesn’t make her feel good either.
