Jane Espenson said something similar on the DVD commentary for The Miller’s Daughter:
Now I get a lot of people who say, “Well if he really loved Cora then that means his love for Belle means nothing! It’s nothing! If he’s loved anyone in his whole life, he could never truly have one true love with Belle.” I just feel like we – people love a lot of people in a lifetime. They love them all differently, and clearly there was something very, very special about his love with Belle because that kiss transformed him and this one did not. But that doesn’t mean he didn’t love Cora. It’s just… it’s… it’s… call it less than… certainly it was different than, but he – I absolutely believe he was able to love both those women, and Milah – his wife originally.

I didn’t even notice it until the set pics from 312 came out the other day I couldn’t stop thinking that I had seen Charming in that same outfit before & Hook in the red vest then it dawned on me where I had seen them so I went back to look and sure enough they where the same If you check the set photos from 312 and this pic of all the cast at the beginning of the season http://seriable.com/upon-time-season-3-cast-photos-unveiled/?pid=14176 you will notice that Charming has the red outfit that he is wearing in 312 & Hook is wearing the red vest that he has on in 312 and Snow is wearing the same outfit that she is wearing in 312Nice catch!

I think it would all depend on in if Cora got her heart back or not. If she didn’t and lived, I could see her trying to do manipulative things to break-up Rumbelle.

this is so incredibly true, especially when you look back at past episodes. which further emphasizes that Neal is Emma’s past and Hook is her future.
I’m wondering if this stuff is a flashfoward.
As in, sometime in the not to distant future, everyone returns to FTL and the remaining episodes of 3.2 are how they all get there. The stuff in NYC is present day and will help fill in the gaps.
If you watched LOST then you know flash fowards became a big deal after season 3.
