ONCE - Once Upon a Time podcast
Reviews, theories, and talk about ABC's Once Upon a Time TV show
Character descriptions aside, it’s pretty clear that Lily was indeed Latina. I’m not sure if Adam and Eddy had the idea to make her Mal’s daughter in 4A. It could have been towards the ends of the Frozen arc when things were wrapping up.
It did bother me a great deal when there was speculation that Agnes is Lily. Then I read filming updates that she had to wear eye contacts to change her eye color, dye her hair, make-up to make us believe that she was Lily. All I could think of doing was cry in a corner because you wouldn’t have to do all this stuff if you hired a Latina actress to fill the role.
It will be interesting when SDCC rolls around and someone inevitably asks them this specific question in regard to Lily and see how they respond to it.
I do hope that this doesn’t become a trend in casting when it comes to this show. Of course, I want them to hire who is right for the role, but not another repeat of what they’re doing with Lily.

It’s not difficult to do a flash forward. I remember Adam and Eddy were asked how they were going to solve Jared growing up so fast at the end of 3A and they said that they had a plan in place and look what happened, we flash forward a year later. If they really need Roland for a major storyline (not likely), they can always do the same thing with him.
Wow, lol!!
I agree, Jenna.
I think @angiebelle is going to Regal Con. She’s one of the members on the forum here.
Exactly, RG.
Welcome Jessica.
I wouldn’t worry just yet. New series are usually a hit or miss. If it does poorly, he’ll return to Once. If the series does well, I’m sure the way Roland’s absence will be dealt with is that we’ll just see less of him on screen. The Merry Men will be on babysitting duty.
May as well post this in the pilot thread rather than making a new topic. This new show sounds interesting and may turn out to be something that we’ll all like! http://www.cinemablend.com/television/Brothers-Grimm-Getting-TV-Show-Get-Details-70792.html
Interestingly, the movie is available to stream on Netflix.
