Oh no! Will you have two seamen vying for your affections?!
Looks like. Gil is winning me over with his adorableness on twitter.

ParticipantI think RQ wants to bring back someone who she thinks died. I am not sure the person is dead.
I was going to say the knave but she knows now that he is indeed alive.
Perhaps in the OUAT version of things, Jafar and Jasmine are brother/sister? And maybe Aladdin was the cause of Jasmine’s death? At the hands of a genie perhaps? As far as RQ, are we thinking she wants to resurrect Cora?
Now, that would be twisted, especially when you consider in the Disney movie, he wanted to marry Jasmine.

ParticipantMy boyfriend caught the sarlac reference. I missed it the first time because I was fascinated with the pictures in Jafar’s spell book.

ParticipantPhee wrote: Interesting that RQ and Jafar seemingly hadn’t been aware that Will was in WL. That means that when the Rabbit went to get him, it wasn’t something that RQ put him up to, it was his own little personal detour. If RQ has screwed with Rabbit’s love, then it’s probably a bit of payback on his part to bring RQ’s lost love back into the game.
Yeah I bet we see an Alice/White Rabbit confrontation soon in which the Rabbit tells Alice that yes he helped the RQ but it was to save his family and he hasn’t been working ONLY for the RQ
I hope so.

ParticipantI really want Wonderland to succeed. The story and the characters are really good. I love the Knave. He’s my favorite and the Red Queen just became more interesting after last night.

ParticipantHere’s an even deeper connection on why the two scenes don’t compare. Emma’s only known Hook for ten hours. They only recently met earlier that day.
Baelfire’s known his FATHER for 13/14 years. They are family. Blood. That really hurts. I felt for Rumple because this is his son who can’t even let go of his anger to see that his father has changed, he needs to hold onto that and put his father in a cage. And I really did not see any remorse on Neal’s part. He’s purposely leaving his family behind. Heck, I think he even said he’s taking Henry and leaving this island without him [Rumple].
I wouldn’t doubt that Neal planned all along to ditch Rumple.
I know most people on this board love Neal but I am not finding any reason to really love him this season. I’m actually finding more reasons to really hate him.

ParticipantA couple of parallels from tonight: 1) When Neal abandoned his father and immobilized him with the squid ink did anyone else think of how Emma abandoned Hook on the beanstalk and how that came back to bite her.
Actually, I have to disagree here because Emma did not give Hook a forewarning that she was going to chain him up. Neal at least took the time to explain his reasons why he trapped Rumple.

ParticipantI think it’s still far from “bromance.” But it’s more a relationship of respect and care because Hook now realizes that Charming is Emma’s father. If a guy cares about a girl, it’s honorable for him to care about her family, too.
But I like bromance. But I love the second part of this too.
