ParticipantThe article is not new. I remember reading something similar elsewhere but the picture definitely is.
Thanks for sharing.

ParticipantThank you RumplesGirl.
You are right, there are lines you do not cross when it comes to family and I’m sorry, but I will continue to stand that I strongly feel like Neal crossed that line with Rumple.
I sincerely hope this doesn’t send Rumple over the edge, though I suspect it might because he just lost his will to live again.
If Rumple does go dark, Neal abandoning him will be a direct consequence of that. Â That will be Neal’s fault.

ParticipantI am done with this thread. Â I feel really outnumbered here and it’s sad. Â It’s like some of you all forgot why Rumple created the Dark Curse to begin with. Â Like the reason Rumple chose to put the prophecy aside in the finale and help with the search for Henry in Neverland was to honor Neal.
Most of what I’m seeing is all about Neal’s pain and such, and what about Rumple’s pain? Where’s the sympathy there? He is trying really hard to do what’s right and all Neal can see his dad when he was fourteen. Â That’s the tragic thing here. Â Rumple is more than willing to make amends here and Neal can’t even make the first step! That’s all I’m saying.
Where is RumplesGirl when I need her?

ParticipantWhich results in a smirk appearing on Emma’s face as she walks away. If you’ve seen the film The Princess Bride (1987) you’ll know that Killian actually tells Emma that he loves her.
That’s how she knows she is loved. Hook wouldn’t understand the reference but Emma sure does.

ParticipantI frankly would love to have a scene where Neal is imprisoned and his father is the only one to let him out and Rumple willingly abandons him not in fear as he did before but in ire after reciting at length the deals he had to make, the lives ruined etc.
That would be very poetic.
I would really love for Neal and Rumple to fix their damaged relationship because they were obviously very close once upon a time, but that’s a difficult thing to do when Neal is constantly putting down his own father and won’t even accept that he is willing to change.

ParticipantI do not think Neal planned to ditch Rumple until the moment he realized his father lied to cover up that he had wanted to kill his son because of a prophecy.
I disagree because he knew what squid ink could do. Â He knows it can paralyze magical creatures and his father can do magic. Â It was probably in the back of his mind when he came up with it, kill two birds with one stone without re-sorting to killing.
Hearing that from Pan, Â which by the way he believes the show’s villain over is own father — was the tipping point.
