I don’t know why people assume that if her focus is Henry that she can’t have bonding moments with anyone because clearly they have to sit and rest once in awhile and some big and important conversations have come out of that so far. It’s not like she’s ditching her mission to make out with the pirate! The aftermath is what interests me the most. Especially given how hot that kiss looks. I don’t see them as being able to just ignore that and sweep it under the rug and pretend that they’re just best buds and there’s nothing there. We’ve been saying from Day 1 that there is something undeniable between them!
I agree. We know the mission is to save Henry but honestly, that does not mean she can’t bond with Hook. It’s already happened and continues to happen. The kiss is just a natural progression of the relationship.
I’m curious about the aftermath too. I’m looking forward to the build-up too but I really want to see what happens after the kiss.

Again, Killian’s living in the moment with Emma. And then, when Emma has to defend her choice, hopefully she says something like:
“I didn’t fall in love with Captain Hook. I fell in love with Killian Jones,”
It’s fairly obvious from the sneak that she realizes that she never knew Baelfire at all, just Neal, his persona.
Actually, this was hinted at earlier on in 3×01 when Hook and Emma shared a drink onboard the Jolly Roger and they toasted Neal.
Emma: He was always Neal to me.
It does look like a tear.

Here’s another Snowing pic parallel. Snow grabbed the lapels (seriously, I’ll never get tired of saying that) before kissing each other and also, I might add, after a moment of triumph (Emma breaking the curse). Also, a moment that played out in real time.
