The pictures from the set seem to have a lot of Henry and Charming going on. Because of this, and how Charming was so adamant in the first episode that Emma was a boy (Rumpe's first scene), I'm kind of worried about a rift occurring between Charming and Emma, that pre-curse Charming had been dreaming of a son and will be living out everything he wanted to do with a son with Henry. If this happens, I can see Emma feeling very bitter: like she is being replaced as a parent and a child.
I like that dynamic.

ParticipantI don’t know but good question. I hope they would get more interaction next season. It was great seeing Emma bond with Mary Margaret but now that I think about it, it’ll be interesting to see a relationship between Charming and Emma. He can’t exactly have “the talk” with her because of Henry.

Participantthat’s an interesting possibility. but I want to see how Adam & Eddie would tackle the King Arthur story. like would see Merlin at some point too or the knights of the roundtable?

ParticipantI was seriously worried when the new season would begin because I’ll be traveling abroad in September but thankfully, I will not miss any episodes now that I know the premiere date.

That photo is actually photoshopped from a pic of him with Leighton Meester, but there are real ones here: http://www.justjared.com/2012/07/10/jennifer-morrison-sebastian-stan-union-square-stroll/
.
I play around with photoshop a lot but šÆ that is very impressive work.

I’ve watched shows before where the leads dated (and then broke up) before the show was over and it can wreck their chemistry or at least the audience view of the chemistry. Sometimes it seems like people just date their on set costars because it’s convenient when they work all day together anyway. I was slightly impressed that Ginny and Josh basically managed to be joined at the hip almost the entire hiatus, NY, LA, Kentucky and wherever else.
I think Ginny and Josh are cute together but that’s the same reason why I don’t want to get too attached. I was a halo [Milo and Hayden] ‘shipper when Heroes was on and then, they broke up before the series even ended. I don’t want my heart broken like that again.

I saw this really perplexing and interesting Dr. Whale theory on tumblr: http://phoenixwrites.tumblr.com/post/27221106565/question
Question.
Have we actually met the Duke of the frontlands?See, I thought the Duke was the guy who took Morraine (āSheāll ride with meā) and forced Rumplestiltskin to kiss his boot and was later killed by him. But my younger brother pointed out, āwhy would the Duke be riding around doing stuff his servants and knights would be doing? Did they ever actually call him the Duke?ā and I thought, hm, good point.
And then, during the scene when Rumplestiltskin broke into the castle, my younger brother looked at the tapestries.

Him: What is on that crest? A fish?ā
Me: I dunno. A whale?
*pause*

Him: NO WAY.
Me: IMPOSSIBLE.
Us: CANāT BE. NO WAY. Itāsā¦itāsā¦yes.
.There is the difficulty of the Duke of the Frontlands being centuries old, but what if he were cursed as a whale (Monstro) by Rumpel to live in an altered state for a long time?! š® Just an interesting theory.

ParticipantThis is definitely a first for the character of Lancelot. I wonder who’d they’d cast as Guinevere and King Arthur? š®
Then again, Perry White in the new Man of Steel isn't going to be white either.

ParticipantI was looking through my tumblr (Robert Carlyle) tag and saw this: Opinion: The 10 worst Emmy Awards nomination snubs of 2012
Sebastian Stan and Robert Carlyle didn’t make it š

3. Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series: Robert Carlyle, Once Upon a TimeThe general snubbing of Once Upon a Time cannot be ignored. But looking at the very cable-dominated nomination lists for Outstanding Drama and Actor/Actress, maybe its family friendly tone just disqualified the show from those categories this year.
However, Robert Carlyle not receiving even a nomination is completely baffling. Not only does he tick all the boxes in terms of being āworthyā with his resume and reputation, but few Once fans would disagree with the fact that his performance on the show has been astounding.
Once Upon a Time picked up a few nominations for makeup, prosthetics and visual effects, and fans should appreciate that the show at least got a bit of recognition. But if any one person from this show could have expected a nomination for their standout performance, it was Carlyle. Did they not see āSkin Deepā or āThe Returnā?!

6. Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series: Sebastian Stan, Once Upon a TimeItās hard to judge guest starsā chances at being nominated for these things, because more often than not, it seems that nods are awarded based on stunt casting rather than actual importance to the plot of the show in question.
Sebastian Stan was not only hyped up before āHat Trickā even aired, but there was no doubt that he delivered one of the most memorable performances on the show, which would put most other seriesā guest stars to shame. Although Stan only appeared in two episodes of season 1, the Mad Hatter is already one of the most popular characters on the show, and fans have been crying for him to be added as a regular (which sadly other commitments prevent right now).
He is a relatively well known actor, but next to names like Michael J. Fox and Jason Ritter, Stan wouldnāt win on name alone. It would have been great to see his name on that list though, because with the passion and enthusiasm he brought to the relatively small role, he definitely deserved it.
