[adrotate group="5"]@obisgirl thanks for posting the link and photos. I was expecting a meatier interview, but, oh well, I’ll just stare at the pictures regardless. They got a few things wrong. His name is misspelt on the cover and this wife and son (who isn’t a 1 1/2 yet) are with him in Vancouver, not at home in Drogheda.
I know about the last name crisis. Thankfully, a fan corrected it on tumblr.
Also thankfully, his name was spelled was correctly within the article itself. I mean, when the interview happened, it mentioned they were filming episode 8 at the time and the show is currently filming episode 10 or 11 now, I believe. So things do change. That’s the problem with print, especially when it comes out later, that details aren’t accurate now as they were then.
Or, you know, poor research on the reporter’s part; which can happen too.

That sounds right to me until otherwise proven not true. But I think that’s right.
It’s a good thing the red jacket is her signature look and not that blue one, otherwise it would be really complicated which episode. It’s a lot easier looking at only two.
Whilst it was wrong that Rumple switched the daggers, at the same time I’m glad he did it otherwise he would be forced to lead Belle to a very dangerous woman with no guarantee that Belle would walk away unscathed.
Except for the fact that it puts Belle in danger anyway because she can’t use the dagger to defend herself. Belle’s not a fighter.
I remember I theorized if Belle used the dagger to defend herself and found that she couldn’t because it’s a fake, she’s basically on her own and defenseless. In this case, I think she’s probably lucky because Rumple is with her but if he weren’t, if she were going solo to confront the Snow Queen, there’s no helping her. She would be on her own with a fake dagger that can’t summon the dark one to save her.
I mean, look at Belle’s body language and the freaked out tone in her voice, she’s horrified. How much more embarrassed and scared would she be if she knew she had a fake dagger that she can’t use?
I don’t think Rumple will suffer any retribution for Zelena’s death.
I would be angry if Rumple didn’t suffer any kind of consequence for Zelena’s death and the issue with the dagger. When you murder someone, regardless if it was warranted or not, there’s always consequences for the murderer. I get why Rumple did it, to avenge his son but murder is not something Neal would have approved of. He would be horrified of his papa slipping back into his old ways to avenge him.
I wonder if Rumple is actually bluffing about the tape. We know he can magically change CCTV, but we didn’t see any footage of the Hook tape to prove that it wasn’t just a blank tape. How annoyed would Hook be if his one reason for keeping quiet didn’t actually exist.
I wonder about that too. It wouldn’t surprise me if the tape Rumple claims to have over Hook is another bluff, or Rumple messing with Hook’s head because he knows he can. Rumple played many mind games with Hook in that episode, so if the tape turned out to be a fake, it wouldn’t surprise me.
