ParticipantI always love seeing the Apprentice…. for some reason, almost more than anyone else on the show, he always just reads as Straight Out of A Fairy Tale.
He certainly does. I enjoy seeing him for this reason, too.

ParticipantDisliked: – That was WAY too easy to get Hook. Like let’s lower him as slow as we can to give Emma time to just walk across a narrow bridge. Very lame.
Agreed

Participantfinally caught up.
5/10. Too many plotholes or confusions to give this a higher score.
LIKED
The disgust Milah had for Emma.
Young Bae
Emma’s wavy hair-almost as wavy as season 1
Rumple and Hades scenes; two great actors.
MIXED
That it took so long before it was clear that the flashback had bearing on the present.
DISLIKED
-That it took Milah for Emma to realise that he has had both Milah’s lover and her son. During season 3 I couldn’t stop letting people know my disgust over this.
-That Daniel didn’t appear to Regina like Neal did to Emma.
-No explanation as to how they escaped without the boat. Or did I miss something?
-Emma and perhaps the writers forgetting that her heart is protected because she is the savior, not because she has been chosen to stay in the Underworld. Surely Emma can remove it herself, though? I am very confused by this.
QUESTIONS
-When will we get the explanation as to why Regina’s magic is suddenly working again? Surely it is more than just inspiration? Or was it because she was chosen to stay down there? Confused.
-Why on earth (in the underworld) did Hades use Rumple to do his dirty work Did he reveal a weakness? Does he have less power than we think? Or was this just a silly plot point?

ParticipantI could see Hades taking Robin just to spite the heroes because Robin was supposed to die in 5A. I could see Robin maybe accepting this because he is a man of “honour” and him not dying would have consequences- he couldn’t live with himself if he knew someone else had to take his place etc etc. HOWEVER the problem with this if it is indeed Robin has to die because he was supposed to die in 5A is that HOOK was supposed to die in 5A from the excalibor cut, and was killed again as the DO so there is no fairness in Robin dying because he was supposed to die yet Hook living even though he was in the same boat as Robin.
You summarised my thoughts on this quite nicely. Really the original ”heroes” suffer no consequences when they use magic, including when they share a heart. A and E promised that we would see the cosequences of Snowing sharing a heart, but 13 episodes after they said that we still haven’t seen one. I hoping that one or both of them will have a shorter life span (maybe Charming) and that it is he who dies, not Robin ;(

ParticipantI guess this episode will introduce the Mental Hospital arc.
I said it on that thread, but I will say it again here…
I really hope that our beloved characters are not mental patients and everything we have seen is a product of their imagination, or that they and their adventures are the product of another new character’s imagination.

ParticipantWTH was that? Basically… Rumple: *weird explanation*, but *loophole*… Emma: so how do we WHAT?!? Writers: Let them just speak a lot of nonesense really fast and no one will notice that this is crap…
LOL exactly what I was thinking.
No doubt it will be Milah who will lend their aura.

ParticipantI really don’t know who these two characters could be; I am hoping they are completely new ones. I really don’t like it when they use novels such as The Wizard of Oz and call them fairy tales. (I don’t mind myths and legends because they are older stories).
I am also hoping that it won’t be the case of all our characters being mental patients and everything we have seen has been their collective imagination, or the imagination of one these new characters.

ParticipantNot the brother’s Grimm.
No no no no no!
Cheesy and not archaic.
For me the characters that they should have met at the end of the show are Merlin, Morgana and Arthur.
I would settle for Zeus being the ultimate g0d-figure as well.
But they ruined those. Well, Zeus might still be in the running.

ParticipantA couple more points
THE PEN
It’s alive….this means it’s a character which means that it has to have (wait for it)…BACKSTORY!So…how was it made? Was it a ”being” before it was a pen?
And where is its gravestone?
LOL
CEREBUS
So Hercules could kill the nine-headed Hydra by himself (in Once) but not Rover?
Besides, it’s a dog, surely playing fetch or a doggie toy would have worked?
