ParticipantI don’t think that he will be alive for much longer, though.
Does anyone else think that either Arthur or Guinivere cast the curse using Lancelot’s heart? (probably Guinevere?)

ParticipantI am hoping that it is the real Lancelot, and not someone glamouring themselves as him….

-Charming actually had something to do.
-The rubbery toadstool Lol prop design.
-That Arthur was shady, as I suspected. I wonder if Merlin’s prophecy said that the gang would bring about the destruction of Camelot? Is Arthur a hero forced to make horrible choices? Or is there something else going on? I still think he is the one who trapped Merlin in the tree, and is trying to root out the savior.
Disliked
-Regina’s threat to Regina. To EQ-esque. She has come to far for that, surely? Does she really intend to kill Zelena?
And anyway, not sure if threatening her was the best tactic. Zelena now has two choices: find another way back to Oz before giving birth, or killing Regina first to ensure her own safety. In the mean time she will need to earn their trust to make it look like she is redeeming herself.
Unless this is Regina’s way of prompting her to redeeming herself?
Oh, and Regina had tons of chances too redeem herelf. 1) when she was captured by Snowing and was locked up in the tower 2) beginning of season 2, 3) after Cora died/Neverland. That is two more than Zelena, no?
-Continuity error? Was that poison from the snake that Regina used to kill Leopold? If so, why did the knight disappear while Leopold didn’t? Different effect in potion form? Well, wasn’t explained that way so seems like a mistake or let’s-hope-the-audience-will-forget-about-season-one’s-rules-of-magic thing.
Confusions/musings
-How does the lion on Charming’s coat of arms compare with Robin Hood’s tattoo?
-So does Arthur have all his memories then, and is pretending not to have them? Was he the one that brought them over so he could start a new Camelot, I wonder.

ParticipantAh, but the Apprentice told Ingrid that the Savior’s name would be Emma, and that was several years before Emma was born! And if the Apprentice knew, surely the info came from Merlin! SFG
Wow, good point!
Maybe Arthur put Merlin in the tree (beause perhaps Merlin caught on to some shady plan of Arthur’s, refused to tell him the name of the Savior, and to punish him he put him in the tree using some miracle magical plot device that is somehow stronger than Merlin) and is now using the situation to root out the Savior to get rid of them so that the DO is free to reunite excalibur with the dagger. Or the other way round; he needs to double check who the savior is, and then root out the DO so that the savior can put the two parts of the sword together?
Or maybe Nimue/Morgana/evil person put him in there because he was about to tell Arthur the name of the savior.
I just got the feeling that Merlin knew the name of the savior and refused to say it.
Or that it is just yet another plot hole.

ParticipantI find this confusing, seeing as Hook is around 250-300 years old and Regina is 60-ish. I don’t see how either Hook as a boy or Hook’s father could be in an EQ flashback. Hook was a boy and grew into an adult long before Regina was even born. Perhaps Hook’s father didn’t age either and thus could be in a flashback with EQ but that doesn’t explain Hook as a boy.
Perhaps it is 300 years ago with an EQ prophecy flashback?
A different Evil Queen (Nimue? Guinevere? Someone else)?
Or as @Watcher said, two different flashbacks that are linked?
Edit: Actually, now that I have read the article, it is probably two connected flashbacks.
Meanwhile, Kitsis practically tells us that 5B will be Hades/Underworld-related, as many have already suggested.

ParticipantI’d laugh if the so-called ”relic” was an iPhone or a typewriter or some other item (past or modern) from our world. I realize that ”relic” means something from the past, but what if it was a modern item that they think is from the past advanced civilisation?
Back to reality, seriously though, what could this relic be?

ParticipantDoes anyone else have the feeling that Guinevere might be Nimue in disguise? I feel like she might have her own reasons for having the dagger and Exacalbur in connected together again. (Then again, maybe she would have done it herself during the missing year in season 3 if she was able to come of the lake and walk, assuming that Camelot and EF are kingdoms in the same world/dimension).
Others have suggested that 5B will be Hades/Underworld etc.
I really hope that seasons 1-5A were not the final test for the characters to prove their worthiness of going to a better place. Like they were put back in EF to prove themselves, and if they don’t they are back in Underworld. Or something like that.

ParticipantI don’t think it is too soon and I think it was handled rather well.
I don’t know how important she is to the plot other than to be a love interest for Henry, but she has to be there for a reason. He approached her, however, so I don’t think she is out to deceive him.

ParticipantI am sure Snow will have some faith-based lucky guess up her sleeve that will save Emma. It would probably involve some sort of sacrifice of her and Charming (counting as one life for a life because they share the same heart).
Perhaps, as @WickedRegal suggested, they will pull her back from the underworld with their sacrifice, bring up only Emma and leaving behind her darkness.

ParticipantGenerally liked this espisode except for a couple of things:
1) Okay so NOW magic actually comes with a price again? What was Snow and Charming’s price for their shared heart? Emma used a lot of magic in 4b, what was her price? And countless other examples of characters using magic with no price? (though I remember A and E said in an interview that the price for the shared heart would be addressed).
2) Wow, I think Snow should bet on the lottery because that is her second sucessful faith-based guess in two seasons! I felt that is was a bit of a cop out that they there were able to banish the the Fury by sharing it’s soul-sucking magic, and the reasons for the idea was a ”lucky guess”. And if was Snow’s guess that got rid of the Fury, then wouldn’t that make her the savior to Emma’s Dark One, rather than Regina or in addition to her? Anyway it should be back, right? When Robin is alone?
3) Robin looked weak. Again. I am all for girl-power and both partners saving each other, but given the the fact that he is supposed to be ROBIN HOOD I am getting a bit sick of Regina saving him and then mothering him afterwards. This time it is was understandable…he saved Regina then got swept up by the Fury but I always wonder when he will next be attacked and unable to defend himself again by some other person or creature.
Interesting that Regina referred to SB/LWM as ”our relm” to Arthur. Does it feel like home to her or did the memory wipe not include their decision in Camelot to not be honest about who they are and where they were originally from, I wonder.
Regina is my favorite character but I did like it when Emma called her out on always blaming someone else for her problems, and I liked it when Percevil called her out on her past actions as well. Sadly, Regina didn’t apologise to him, or maybe she didn’t get the chance. (Or she just didn’t do it because she hasn’t even apologised to Snow *properly* yet or anyone else for that matter).
I wonder where the Wraith takes souls then? To the Underworld too?
