I swear to God if she is not dead dead I’m going to scream. Not because she’d be alive, but because then pretty much everyone has cheated death at least twice EXCEPT Neal. Ok yes and Graham, but you know what I mean.
I have mixed feelings about her death. I thought it was going to be a bigger deal. Some big showdown battle extraordinaire, but Rumple just stabbed her and she was gone. Felt anticlimactic. I really don’t like that he lied to Belle. And yet at the same time, it’s such a Rumpelstiltskin thing to do. It’s very unlike him to let the murder of his son go, just like that. Without consequences. He spent centuries looking for him and now he’d simply let his killer walk? But yeah, Belle… She trusted him and he betrayed that trust. So it has two sides for me, though I gotta say: Ding Dong the Witch is DEAD!

Now Henry has an uncle who is younger than him. How weird is that? And I really really hope they will not name him after anyone. I hope he gets an original name of his own.

Liked:
– Regina’s been on my likes a lot lately and that’s because they’re doing her redempetion arc the right way. Slow with a few hurdles and setbacks along the way, but steady and without losing the snarky sass her character has.
– Grumpy shouting town announcements. Those never get old. 😀
– Ok ok it was cheesy and more of a reference to the book than anything, but I LOVED the melting scene.
– Rumbelle!! Please may they never be seperated ever again!!!
– I was totally right about the costumes representing the 4 elements (green-earth, white-water, grey-air, gold-fire). Come on, I never get anything right on this show, let me have my moment ok.
Disliked:
-Emma losing her magic. I don’t know if I should assume she will get it back at one point, but if she doesn’t, it’s wasted potential once more.
On the fence:
– Emma not saving the day and not having magic anymore. I mean I loved that Regina found the light magic within herself, but really everything reversed, inlcuding flying monkey friends, EXCEPT Emma’s magic? How convenient. Or inconvenient depending on how you look at it.
– Rumple killing Zelena. I mean heck yeah! KILL that witch! But also, he betrayed Belle’s trust. 🙁 And unleashed God knows what. BUT it was in character for once and we haven’t seen much of that in anyone the last couple of eps. It’s just so sad that he a used a trick that his FATHER of all people taught him to deceive Belle. AFTER he proposed to her!
– Dorothy. I didn’t much care for her one way or the other.

Gosh seeing it summed up like that makes me realise that to the “outside world” we must seem like lunatics. LOL!

Well I’m not so sure that ‘son’ has less meaning than his name. Whenever I feel strongly protective or defensive of my sister I use ‘sister’ instead of her name too. She’s MY sister, it means you’ve hurt a part of ME. Pointing out the familial bond shows a deeper emotional connection. In my experience anyway. Anyone can call her by her name, but she’s no one’s sister but mine.
