If EQ isn’t resolved by the end of this next episode, it wouldn’t surprise me if they ship her off with Goth!Robin to live happily ever after in an alternative universe. That is if they decide not to go the reintegration route – he could be the person that fills the hole in her heart.

Probably just that their son is under the hood and people will be confused because we just saw him sent away as a baby so how could he possibly be here and full-grown?
Do you guys think that magic Blue put on Gideon will mean something?
My assumption was that it was a fairy godmother thing, in terms of her placing her protection over him and/or connecting herself to him as his fairy godmother?
Perhaps being his fairy godmother grants her certain abilities, such as always being able to locate him, hearing his call if he is in trouble etc?
We have a whole season.
I agree – people seem to be more impatient than usual this season for some reason. Why do Jasmine and Aladdin have to be front and center from the second they introduce them? Why is Jafar being “sidelined” just because we haven’t seen any more of him yet? It could easily be the intention of Adam and Eddy that this is a slow-burner that is setting up events for later in the season. They are juggling quite a lot of threads at the moment and not everything can take centre stage at once. Surely it feels more organic to have Aladdin and Jasmine there earlier and not just conveniently rocking up when one plotline ends to fill the gap?

Will he definitely be older in present day? The only scene I am aware of him having shot was the one where he is revealed to be under the hood and that could just be them shooting more pieces of the puzzle for vision sequences.
The synopsis mentions that “wishes fly” which implies that multiple wishes may be granted during the episode. I wonder who else makes a wish?
I thought this as well! Had questioned whether or not I had read the right synopsis for the episode. I guess it doesn’t matter who they are, but it is unusual for them to not bash us over the head with literary references.
Just binge-watched episodes 1-8 and WOW what a show. Can’t believe there are only two episodes left. Particular stand-outs for me are Anthony Hopkins (obvs) and Thandie Newton. I absolutely love the Maeve character and am so glad that they having been featuring her more and more.
Can’t wait for the next episode! So many questions…
