Hmm, another song title! Could be a reference to the most formidable villain yet I guess.

ParticipantSo much for A Robin Hood origin flashback :/ – unless Sean just doesn’t know about it yet.
To be honest, if they went the flashback route then they are further developing the character and I don’t think that would bring fans closure. It would just make them want to see even more of his story. As they said, he is dead and death is one of the sure things that we all have to deal with in life. The best they can do now is really allow his death to have a deep and meaningful impact on the love of his life, and I think that they will really beef that up with his reappearance.

ParticipantI suspect that Robin is going to play a big part in helping Regina to reunite herself with the EQ. Helping her to work through her grief and accept herself in her entirety (he fell in love with all of her, not just her light). It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

ParticipantHey look! A dreamcatcher! What…crime? Is the Oracle dead? Oh lord. The superpower.
Interesting! Does that mean the Oracle isn’t Jafar then?? I really like this scene!

ParticipantWhy for Aladdin and Jasmine though?
Well obviously they are iconic characters – maybe if their involvement this season is substantial they are doing shoots to go alongside magazine articles etc?

ParticipantThe more I think about it, the more confused I am about Hyde. What was his overall plan? He didn’t just seem focused on Rumple. Was he literally just wanting a land to control? If so, why? It doesn’t really fit with his backstory. Also, we haven’t seen how he ended up in the land of untold stories.
EDIT: Also, I wonder which savior/s Hyde has met before, as he referenced this in 6×01. I also wonder if we will get to see his interactions with them.

ParticipantI didn’t say the EQ would be the one to crush it. But somebody might, and that would kill them both.
Sorry, I misread what you had written! Which why none of what I said will make any sense 😉

ParticipantI’m now starting to wonder if in the winter finale Regina will end up wishing that she had never cast the dark curse, which would allow for them to explore a reality in which Emma Swan never got to meet her parents etc it would be interesting to explore a world where a lot of what we have seen hadn’t actually happened and how things would have played out. I guess it sounds like more of a 2-hour finale type adventure in the vein of the past few seasons. I was just thinking that if the lamp and genie come into play, something like this could happen.
There would be one glaring problem with scenario. One of the laws of magic that the genies had to follow was that they couldn’t change the past. Now granted, I know Adam and Eddy aren’t known for consistency, but thought this was still important to point out.
Ah, yes. That is a very good point!

ParticipantNow that is interesting! I suspect if she did, then piercing or crushing her heart would kill her, as it’s the original heart. But then Regina would die too. Maybe that’s what the ep ‘Heartless’ is about? The only way to save Regina if this comes true would be for someone to split their heart with her. Zelena?
Well EQ wouldn’t crush the heart because that would kill them both. And we know that the heartless can live without their hearts provided that they are kept intact. So a heart split wouldn’t need to happen for this to play out.

ParticipantAll of this discussion is actually getting me excited about the Saviour mythology stuff! (Yes, I know, I should lower my expectations). It is interesting to think about whether Emma was always destined to be a Saviour, and Rumples involvement was purely part of the grand design, or if he literally did create her Saviour-ness. Is baby Neal a Saviour too, being born of true love? If that is the only parameter then surely any child of a True Love marriage would be a Saviour? I do like the idea that if the curse was never cast that Emma would never have taken on the mantle of Saviour and could have led a veeeeeeeery different life. Perhaps if they did go the route of showing us what would have happened if the curse was never cast, then we will get to see if Emma still has the capacity to be a Saviour even without Rumples involvement.
