PanTheMan
ParticipantI’m smelling a flash sideways. We’re going to see how life may have played out differently for some of these characters or something.

ParticipantI thought they were totally shady, and might be Blue and another fairy (maybe TB but not if only 100 years old)–maybe the fairies are the fates? It was odd they just gave away a valuable bean and how did Rumple get back? There is more story here, perhaps to be picked up with the wraith. EDIT TO ADD:
I’m wondering if maybe the Spinsters were Rumple’s aunts, and if they are fairies, if that means his mother was one too, perhaps she died in childbirth. We’ve had a theory forever that Pan fell in love with a fairy and that’s why Blue was anti-love for fairies. What if it wasn’t BLUE’s romance, but her friend and fellow fairy, Red? If this ties into the SLeeping Beauty story, which we might see more of in the back half of the season, it could make a lot of sense.Source What if there are 3 main fairies, Blue, Green and Red, who double as the “fates” of FTL. One falls in love with Malcom, and has Rumple and dies, or becomes evil creating the first Dark One . This is the reason Blue says love for fairies is bad, and sets up her connection with Malcom/PP. The other Green has something happen to her (perhaps in the Sleeping Beauty part 1 story, Aurora’s mother or with Aurora). Blue tries to train replacement fairies with Nova (Pink) and Tink (lighter leaf green) but Tink doesn’t quite have what it takes, and Nova struggles too. I don’t know if it quite works…its a bit crazy, but then, I tossed out Pan as de-aged father over the summer (though not to Rumple, was thinking Hook’s dad) so sometimes crazy is exactly where they go.
This was totally my guess when I saw the new episode. The Spinters are Fairies, working for Blue Fairy, who really wants Rumple out of Enchanted Forest. She’s been barking up that tree for many years now, it seems. With Blue Fairy, the other two Spinsters make 3. So this is my favorite theory.
With all the new Greek/Roman mythology being touched on in the show, I also thought about them being the Fates (from Hercules). It would be awesome to see Hercules show up, or anyone from that story.

ParticipantIt’s also possible Belle has spent so much time with Rumple and other magical beings that she has developed a blood magic like Baelfire and Henry. She’s not untouched by magic.

ParticipantI hope we see how someone becomes a genie.

ParticipantI’m gonna say it. CHERNABOG! In Fantasia, you see the Chernabog cover the land in shadow. He lives at the top of a peak, a lot like the one we see in OUAT’s Neverland. I’m thinking the shadow could go on to touch on that in some way.

ParticipantIn the books, PP is thought to be part fairy, or a fairy child or something. I like the idea that PP is the illegitimate son of Blue Fairy, which is why she is so adamant about doing things her way. Being the child of BF awarded PP certain powers, which he developed in a very dark way.
PP could have been the original Dark One. BF said in “The Return” that Rumple’s magic didn’t belong in the Enchanted Forest. What if she banished her own son, PP, to Neverland for the same reason.
PP knew Rumple when Rumple was little because PP was training him to become the Dark One, but PP was banished before he could finish with Rumple. PP could have started the Dark One curse, knowing it would eventually be Rumple with the Dagger.
Rumple and PP both have weird daggers. They both have shadows they can detach and use to do their bidding.
I’m definitely thinking the Dark One Curse is an extension of PP’s powers, which is why Rumple will die if he kills PP. No Peter Pan, no more Dark One magic for Rumple.

ParticipantThis may be off topic, but I can’t help but think that if mermaids can swim between the realms, that fairies should be able to fly between the realms. Just a thought. If Hook and his brother can fly a ship to Neverland, Fairies should be able to get around more than they do.

ParticipantWhat about Tootles? Could he be in the box.
Tootles was always portrayed as a bit more sensitive than the other lost boys. What if he and Neal were good friends before Neal left the island? I could see this Pan keeping Tootles in a cage because he helped young Baelfire escape or something. It’s just not Neverland without Tootles.
Other possibilities that I like: Wendy, Rumple’s Father, Ariel.

Participant2. Rumple was not supposed to become a dark one. He is a rumple in her plans. Hence why she tried to convince Bae to take his father away. We know that didn’t work however. It’s interesting how Bae ended up in our world first.
3. Tink was removed from power because she interfered in Blue’s plans to have Regina cast the Dark Curse. Blue needed Regina to do this to remove the Dark One from the Enchanted Forest and set up everything involving Henry.
?I’m on the same page as you, but I saw this one flaw in your evidence. If Blue wanted Regina to cast the curse, which eventually led to Tink being removed, then why did she want Rumple taken out? Blue would have needed Rumple too, so that he could push Regina to casting the curse.
The only possibility is that Blue knew Rumple wouldn’t go with Bae. She manipulated Bae and Rumple. She definitely put the curse idea in his head.
