ParticipantNo matter whether BF is evil or not, I’m convinced she’s manipulated characters for the sake of a certain outcome. We just don’t know her exact motivations.
BF in the diner scene in Darkness on the Edge of Town really made me think she’s in league with the Sorcerer. I really like the idea that she’s out to destroy the dark one curse.
Also, I read some trivia that A & E wanted Lady Gaga to play the Blue Fairy originally, but it didn’t work out. Asking Gaga to play BF could possibly mean 2 things: 1. This character isn’t that important and we won’t need the actress often, or 2. We need someone who can make the BF a monster as the story develops.

ParticipantI know how to access the door.
One of the characters just needs to blow on the page, and the door will float off the page and form a real door.

ParticipantYet, there is also the possibility that someone else published the story. Could the publisher of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland also the be the author of Henry’s storybook entitled Once Upon a Time? If so, then that leads me to wonder if the Knave of Hearts is showing up in SB at this precise time to track him or her down. Will Scarlet (aka the knave) has broken into the library, and was found cuddling a copy of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, which would indicate all is not well in WL.
While part of the theory about the author being the sorcerer has now debunked by the Blue Fairy, part of me still wonders if Will is back in SB because of the Author. What are some of the things we know about Will, books, and the Author in S4? 1. Will was missing something that he was desperate to find again. His travel bag. 2. As we’ve seen, Will broke into the library, and was seen by Belle cuddling a copy of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. 3. Emma found in Will’s pocket a torn page of that book with a picture of the Red Queen on it (aka Anastasia, Will’s true love). 4. Will knew enough to tell Robin Hood about where to look for a clue about the Author (i.e. in the library beneath the clock-tower). Sure enough, that is where the Page 23 appeared to Robin Hood — a picture of a story that didn’t happen–of Regina and Robin Hood meeting in the fairytale tavern. 5. Will is now (conveniently) dating the town librarian. 6. We also know that Henry found a hoard of many empty books in the sorcerer’s house, but that they don’t belong to him. They belong to the author, who is someone else besides the sorcerer. What if Author who wrote Henry’s book has written many different books, including Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Oz’s Book of Records? We still don’t know how Will ended up back in SB. Well, what if the reason Will is back in SB, rather than in WL with his true love, Anastasia, is because someone tampered with the book–not Henry’s, but Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland? What if Will is himself now trying to find the Author to course correct the events so that everything that happened in Once Upon a Time in Wonderland is preserved? What if Will is dating Belle, and consequently, spending loads of time in the library, as a way of trying to find the Author? I’m still hoping Will is looking for a way home back to Anastasia.
I think you could be on to something. Will is a bit of a con man on top of a thief, like when he conned RH and Merry Men to infiltrate Mal’s castle so he could steal the looking glass.
It actually makes more sense to me that he’s using Belle to possibly get back to Anastasia (If the red queen is still alive). Something tells me Belle still has a few hits to take this season.
The fact that he directed Robin Hood to the library to look for clues really supports your theory. It could be more significant than we realize.
Honestly, it also makes me wonder if Will could actually be the Author. What’s more probable? That a page magically appeared to Robin Hood, or that Will left it for Robin Hood to find. This would probably mean that Will is in league with the Sorcerer. At least, this really makes me think Will could know who the Author and/or Sorcerer is. I think he knows more than he’s telling.

ParticipantSince in the original TLM, we dealt we beings that don’t have souls, I’d like to think that this is Ursula’s story about finding/earning a soul for herself.
Maybe as an immortal sea goddess, Ursula doesn’t have a soul. Getting a soul is basically what causes her grief, which Hook would be somewhat responsible for. Once Ursula has her soul, she can no longer be a goddess, so then she becomes a witch.
Honestly, I feel like true pain comes from having a soul, not the lack of one.
I really hope this somehow connects to how Hook left Neverland. I’m loving all of your theories!

ParticipantI think we’ll see the Author earlier than the Season finale, as I recall A&E mentioning that we would learn their identity fairly quickly during this half of the Season. Unless I’m mistaken. My current theory is that he will turn out to be the Peddler character introduced in 416 “Best Laid Plans.” The Sorcerer, though is another story. As for some of my own guesses: – “A Tale as Old as Time” (If Rumple is heavily involved in this finale) – “What Makes a Monster” (Again if Rumple is heavily involved. Took the quote from The Hunchback of Notre Dame, but it could still be used to apply to Rumple) – “Happy Endings” or some variant on it (The whole plot of this arc are the villains trying to get their happy endings) – “The Book” (Also really important to this Season, and the finale could delve more into the book’s origins) – “The Snake and the Mongoose” (Ties into Operation: Mongoose, and could also tie-in with Jafar returning) –
I really like the idea of “A tale as Old as Time” being the finale title. It works on so many levels.

ParticipantThis season is a little bit harder to guess than past seasons, but here goes…
My guesses:
– Pen vs. Sword (Or some variation of the actual quote. Ties in nicely with the Author)
– Fate and Free Will (part 1 & 2)
– Wish Upon a Star (idk, maybe hinting at blue fairy, or wishes hinting at Aladdin arc, or hinting at Emma’s b-day wish from pilot.)
– Chernabog (a guy can dream, but if we don’t see chernabog again, i’ll still be happy that he made an appearance.)
– The Truth or The Whole Truth

ParticipantAt the point in Enchanted Forest when Mal enters Snowing’s bedroom, I think Cruella and Ursula didn’t know Mal was going to be a mother.
But Cruella and Ursula in present day Storybrooke do know the truth, probably having figured it out when Mal had her baby.
I imagine when Snow told Mal that she wasn’t willing to work together, Mal went back to her friends, Cruella and Ursula, for help.

ParticipantI just cant have nice ships -____- so on another of my shows, two characters I was kind of hoping would get together (which was unlikely as it was. I just really dislike the girlfriend of the main character v_v) anyway, the two I was hoping to get together, in a major plot twist….turned out to be SIBLINGS!!!!! -____- I feel so ashamed. I just cant have a ship can I? Oh well. Atleast I will always ship myself with Cinnamon sugar and it will be an otp and everyone here will ship it on tumblr >> *Watcher is pretty miffed*
Can i ask what show?

ParticipantI have a theory cooking in my head about Lily, inspired by new ideas I’m reading here. BTW… I love the idea of Lily being the Unicorn. But here’s my twist on it.
So we know Cora is coming back, which influences my theory quite a bit. I think once upon a time Regina was pregnant with Daniel’s baby. Regina probably didn’t know she was pregnant at the time of Daniel’s death. When Regina and Cora figured it out, Cora wiped Regina’s memory of the baby (lily), took the baby, and did the same thing to Lily as she did to… wait for it… Zelena! Could be a nice parallel there with Z coming back.
This could explain the “emptiness,” that Regina has felt for this entire story and why only baby Henry could fill that emptiness. Without her baby, that emptiness motivated her to cast the Dark Curse. Something was always missing from Regina, but she (and we) just didn’t know it was her baby.*
A baby would’ve ruined Regina’s chances to become queen, and Cora wasn’t having that. Maybe Cora made a deal with Maleficent to take the baby and hide her from Regina, or maybe Maleficent found the baby after Cora dumped her in the woods. After the whole sleeping beauty fiasco, Maleficent found her happy ending with this baby, which is why she seems reformed in Season 1. This would mean that, through losing her child, Regina would’ve experienced the same pain and agony that Snowing experienced losing Emma, and she would also know what Emma felt to see another mother raising her child.
Maleficent, having made an arrangement with Cora or having figured out the truth about Lily’s parents on her own, knew she had to hide Lily from Regina, which is why when Regina comes around Lily is disguised as a Unicorn. It also means that Regina potentially tried to kill her own daughter in season 1 without knowing it was her daughter.
or, you know, Maleficent and King Stefan are Lily’s parents. My theory could be dead wrong. They usually are lol.

ParticipantI actually do think that they weren’t lying about this Zelena subplot being planned since the end of Season 3, because as I said before, quite a few people (including myself) were suspicious of the way Zelena “died”, and something felt off about the way things played out with Marian in the finale. Why have Rumple turn Zelena into a doll and have her crumble to dust, instead of just crushing her heart or some other manner of killing her? Why did Marian’s apparent original death via execution by Regina not quite match up with the way Robin described Marian’s death back in “Witch Hunt”? If they planned it out properly, though, is what’s up for debate. A lot of the plot issues mentioned could be oversights, or we’re thinking about a lot of this way more than the writers did. At the same time, they wouldn’t have wanted to make the fake Marian twist look too obvious earlier on. For example, they weren’t going to show Marian/Zelena’s heart covered with black spots, since that would have been a dead giveaway. Nor are the visual effects team consistent with hearts and black spots to begin with (ex. Hook’s heart not having any). It’s clear they wanted this Marian thing as just a temporary obstacle for Outlaw Queen, because prior to this it was smooth sailing once Regina and Robin accepted their feelings for one another. So they thought Marian suddenly coming back from the dead thanks to time travel would be just the type of angst Outlaw Queen needed. The idea of a long lost dead loved one returning when the other has already moved on with someone else was juicy for the writers, but annoying for us as the viewers. Either way you look at it (whether it was planned or not), this plot twist is their convenient way out of this mess. Oh Regina never really killed Marian is either timeline (watch this happen), Robin never technically committed adultery, nor was Robin able to express real feelings for Marian since she was a fake all along, etc.
Agreed. Plus, if Zelena doesn’t make a reappearance, our characters would never know that Rumple killed her. We’re still waiting for that moment everyone, especially Belle, discovers the truth, which makes me think that Zelena returning as Marian was their plan all along.
