Then Oliver….his hurt I just have no words for. Poor guy can’t even grieve because everyone else is expecting him to be strong.

And even though he doesn’t break down over the death of his former lover, someone he’d been to hell and back with and fought beside, they actually addressed why he was keeping it all together.

Oliver – I just need your A game right now, Felicity.

Felicity – I don’t have it. My friend…our friend, was shot with arrows and fell off a rooftop. Her body is upstairs right above us in a freezer because we don’t know what to do with it…with her. So I am so sorry, Oliver if I have feelings, but maybe if you did too…I’m sorry, that was mean. But this is Sara we’re talking about…your Sara. How can you stand there being so cold and rational?

Oliver – Because I don’t have the luxury of falling to pieces. Everyone’s looking to me to handle things, to make the right decisions. Everyone is looking to me to lead. If I grieve, nobody else gets to.

And his eyes were getting all glassy as he was saying it, so it was obvious that the grief was there even though he didn’t feel like he could express it. Just imagine if they gave Emma “Saviour” Swan some lines like that, about feeling the responsibility of saving the town from the latest threat, and it messing her up because it means she can’t process and express what she’s going through having lost the guy she loved who died a week ago. Seriously, just imagine, because we know JMo can knock that emo stuff outta the park if she’s actually given it to work with.

Also in Arrow, there’s a new character, he’s all handsome and rich, and he’s throwing the money and charm around to try and impress Felicity, and she came storming in, calling him a creepy stalker, telling him to stop sending her flowers, stop texting, stop calling, stop emailing. And in the podcast I just listened to, all 3 hosts were saying how disgusting and inappropriate he was being and he needs to back off because no means no, and I wanted to reach into my computer and kiss them.

Just got done watching the new ep of Arrow. In the previous ep, a main character, Sara, died. The new ep was named after her, showed everyone grieving her in their own ways, there were tears, and anger, they showed how her death is gonna change people, and the characters who had a baby in the previous ep named her Sara. It was all done beautifully and believably, and it broke my heart for the Arrow characters…and got me pissed off at the OUAT writers all over again. *sigh*

(please tell me the eye roll was for script tease)

It was for multiple things, but the script tease is like the icing on the cake.
Because last episode we established that the guy doesn’t even know what a phone is, but the day after, he’s taking charge of arranging all the details of a date in the modern world, including making a restaurant reservation, which I’m sure he’s very accustomed to because he always made reservations back in the old land when he wanted to pop out to the tavern for dinner and drinks.
Ooops, there goes my other eye.

I love you guys! *hugging the thread and agreeing with all your rants* You all have said it so well that I have nothing more to add but do wanna ask if anyone has seen my left eyeball because it seems I rolled my eyes so hard at 404 spoilers one of them actually rolled out. Funnily enough, 404 sounds like one epic ERROR of an episode. #commonsensenotfound

Barbara Barnett’s quite critical podcast episode.

Here are some more tables just in case we may run out before Sunday’s Episode… :P

Not sure that’ll be enough, but it’s a start.

I think the Anna and Kristoff stuff is simply her arriving home. That’s the same set as in 401, it’s Anna getting back to Arendelle and she’s snatched the box, which Rumple won’t see again until that moment in the mystery!mansion. The pic of him looking all pensive is probably just him thinking, “I don’t trust Elsa’s new BFF, we could really do with some Anna to fix this situation,” then she’ll pop up in the doorway.

Am grateful to have a warning about the date night pics before I saw them. *EYEROLL* As far as the rose goes, the instant I saw that I thought, “Oh hai Gaston,” which I did actually kinda like, given how Hook has been compared to Gaston.

As for things I love about Neal, just see my sig.

Anyways, I found the lines quoted above quite interesting, particularly given the notes that have circulated tumblr about Hans vs. Hook. That’s instantly what I thought of, and I was surprised more that anything to see that acknowledged as an act of villainy.

I’m kicking myself right now for not having instantly made the connection myself. Holy crap, that’s just…like, do they even realise that they’re writing things the way they are, with nods to the crap Hook has done to Emma, and at the same time writing her lines saying she trusts him? If I had any confidence in the writers, I might think they were doing it deliberately because Hook’s got a big fall coming…but alas the confidence isn’t there, and I’m sure they just have a warped view of what they’re actually writing.

ETA: Forgot to say, about Will – wasn’t there clear indication at the end of WL that it was several years later (Alice & Cyrus’s kid) and Will and Ana were ruling Wonderland? In order to go Emma/Will – which I almost kinda could ship, though never never in the way I ship SF – they’d have to totally retcon that, no?

Yes, there was a flashforward where Alice was telling their daughter about the White King and Queen ruling WL, with the implication being that they were Will and Ana. So at this point in time, Will’s supposed to be King in WL, not running around SB, so they’d better have a good explanation for why he’s there or I’ll be flipping tables.

As worried as I am about what they’ll do to ScarlettQueen, I’m not suspecting in the least that they’ll even imply anything remotely romantic between Emma and Will. They’re too gung-ho about forging ahead with CS, and no other character will get in the way of that.

Tell me again why Emma would trust him now considering she was actually right not to trust him then?

*still curled up in the corner sobbing over the STUPIFICATION of Emma Swan*
