ParticipantI got the impression rump put her in there. But thinking back, I don’t think we’ve gotten official word on that, have we? I know they said we find out how she got in there, but perhaps not necessarily that rump put her there.
Maybe Rumple thought the Snow Queen was still in it and he’d heard she was bad news so he stashed her away in his vault without doing an ID check. Or maybe the Snow Queen herself zapped the urn into Rumple’s vault so Elsa could never get out, and he didn’t even know it was there.

ParticipantMaybe the “act of true love” will be Regina earnestly trying to save Marian out of her own love for Robin and not wanting to see him suffer seeing Marian suffer. That would be twisted.
Phee
ParticipantGlad they’re not messing around and we’ll get answers about the urn already. Looks like Snow Queen was stuck in it, Hans lets her out, and then she sticks Elsa in there instead?
Glad we’ll finally see Will, but still nervous about how they’re gonna write him into the story.
For the love of God, someone get Marian a change of clothes instead of her having to be stuck in those stinky rags.

ParticipantHook’s back in his old costume? I know we’ve already seen him with the hook back, but that’s his pirate vest, too.
If this guy is Yen Sid, I’d be a bit surprised. We never got a casting call for him, and usually when that happens, the writers have an actor in mind to play a really big meaty role.
You’d think so yeah, but if you google a pic of Yen Sid and look at it beside that guy, they do look kinda alike with the balding on top but fluffy sides and the beard, and lately they’ve been all about casting people who look just like the animated characters, so I’ve gotta wonder?
Phee
ParticipantHe may well be Yen Sid, he looks similar to the animated Yen Sid, though not quite as bald and his beard isn’t as long.
Dunno about him being related to Charming, but I do think Charming’s father will feature in this sequence because the cart is parked outside a place that may be a tavern. The ep is called Smash the Mirror and in the original Snow Queen story there’s a smashed mirror and people gets shards of it in their eyes and hearts and it makes them see and do only bad, in this case, Charming’s father falling off the sobriety cart.

ParticipantWith that being said, I would be a little disappointed if the writers took the route that Anna and Elsa were not sisters by blood.
Honestly I’d be surprised if they’d be allowed to change that. Same deal with them ageing Anna up to be Elizabeth Mitchell. When all is said and done with 4A, this little portion of their story will have to comply with Disney canon enough so that people who have seen it won’t find it contradictory with whatever Disney does with the characters next. If people didn’t see them on Once, it’ll be no big deal, they won’t be missing anything that will be vital in the grand scheme, this is just a detour in the story. But they’ll end up right back where Disney wants them to launch the next chapter so that the Once detour will still fit in the grand scheme for those who did see it. I don’t even know that we’ll get Anna and Kristoff’s wedding at the end of 4A, because that’s probably a thing they’d want to show officially in a Frozen sequel. We’ll probably end with them all getting back to Arendelle and they’ll be all, “Well, now we can finally have that wedding,” and fade to black.
Making the Snow Queen be Anna and Elsa’s aunt could be a Once-contained story arc that fits with the theme of the original Frozen but never need be addressed in a Frozen sequel as long as it’s all tied up in a nice bow by the end of 4A.

ParticipantI was going to say Yensid, but there are several pictures of a cart…like one that might be involved in a drinking accident.
I didn’t even notice the cart, but the house and pen looked very similar to the one we’ve seen on David’s farm. Hm, could my theory about how the death of David’s father really went down somewhat come to fruition?
The cart has what could be a mattress in it, which fits if Charming’s dad was traveling around and possibly sleeping by the road in his cart. The windows remind me of the tavern Robin was in, so there’s your drinking opportunity. That guy looks a bit old for Charming’s dad though, didn’t he say he died when he was a kid? Maybe Ruth had a thing for older men.

ParticipantYou could be right, but I still think it’s FAR too early to be killing Marian, since she kinda needs to be… ‘in the way’, for lack of a better term.
She’s always been in the way, since she and Robin met. Fate wanted Robin and Regina together, but Regina was chicken, so fate was all, “Fine be that way, your punishment is being the one to kill the one who took your place when no one should be around to take your place.” The only way Marian gets out alive is if she and Robin split up, simply because she’s in the way because pixie dust fate says so, so there’s no getting around it, one way or the other she needs to be removed from the equation.
If they’re gonna use Frozen logic, it’s not even a TLK, it’s just an act of TL. Roland could provide either of those.
I think this whole situation is a setup to prove that Robin doesn’t love Marian the same way any more, (which I don’t really like because it’s kind of a morbid way to prove it which would leave a nasty aftertaste IMO, better to just have him come to the realisation in his own time instead of, “LOLz you don’t have TL no more coz your kiss FAILED”).

ParticipantI follow a Twitter account that posts inspirational quotes and stuff, and this popped up just before: “Patience is not the ability to wait, but how you act while you’re waiting.” Freaking WORD to that.
Phee
ParticipantWell, for starters, Neal would not keep pestering Emma about a date when last week she said, “be patient.”
THIS.
Also, he’d probably have been able to get Rumple to help them, and the crisis woulda been over in half the time.
