Found a screencap that includes the hairdresser’s comment. Really makes you wonder what JMo said when she went in for the cut. LOL

She’d toe the company line and be positive whenever asked about it in interviews. But she’s also the one who chose that wedding dress for Emma, and do we really think that JMo has no idea about the implications of that particular dress? I don’t think it’s coincidence that Emma has gradually become more haggard looking over the last couple of seasons. I think that was something that JMo was projecting, because of how she felt about the nonsense they kept giving her to say and do on camera. What was the comment on her haitus haircut photo…3 years of baggage cut off, or words to that effect?
It just seems to me that if you take out Gideon and insert Neal in his place, you get a very different story that makes so much more sense emotionally,
So many things make so much more sense if you sub Neal back into the story. They attempted to do some of the same stuff they’d have done if Neal were there instead, but it all just rings hollow without him, because there really is no substitute for an original character who was a vital piece at the centre of the mythos for the whole freaking story.

Hi slurpeez! <3 I do actually stick my nose into the forums now and then, but I’ve just reached the point where I’m so over the nonsense that is this show, that I’m not inspired to type up meaningful comments about it. And any comments I DO feel the urge to make, are typically laden with expletives, which I can’t exactly post here. LOL
The opening scene with Henry and Lucy is the most compelling character moment I’ve witnessed on this show in ages, and I almost hate to admit how curious I am about what they do with the characters, because I’m quite sure it’ll just lead to disappointment, unless by some miracle the writers have actually learned from all the stuff they’ve done WRONG and make an effort to do better next season.
My original thought was that Henry and his daughter came to the real world and that Henry lost his memory. Though, save us all from the cursed memories.
Lord knows I don’t have much faith in these writers at all anymore, but I’d like to think that they might lay the “curse amnesia” to bed. It’s honestly just ABSURD how many times people have become amnesiacs on this show, so please God make it stop! So I would much prefer it if the FTL scene is after the apartment door scene, and it’s just that he honestly never even knew that he had a kid, not that he forgot he had one.
Also, they need a real world place to be and if it is not Storybrooke it needs to be some new place. I don’t think Seattle is iconic enough, in my opinion.
Seattle is close enough to Vancouver that they could probably actually film on location if need be. No more having to dress up downtown Vancouver to look like a different city, which costs them time and money. Also, Seattle is directly opposite Maine on the map, it’s pretty much the furthest Henry can get away from SB without leaving the country (unless he goes to California, but good luck getting Vancouver to look like San Diego), which I feel like is potentially significant.
Between that quote and the fact they never got a TLK, I’m taking it as A&E admitting what the actual story was intended to be. Alas the “apology” is too little, too late.
@runaroundmacy and @phee had a pretty interesting idea last night—Henry and whoever Lucy’s mother is, is going to be A and E’s attempt to do SwanFire properly without the pirate/CS fans getting in the way.
Yup! Wonder what Lucy’s mother’s name will be. Beatrice maybe, (Bea to her friends)? Neala? Nah that’s too close. How about Nala?
My current best guess…
At some point Henry leaves SB, moves to Seattle, Lucy finds him (with a totally different book than the one Adult Henry gives her to guard)
The book Lucy has is one that Henry had published in the real world (because Author), after he left SB. He left SB after Emma died (not by any magical means, just natural causes of some description, which can be covered in a flashback when JMo does her one ep), and wrote the book as a type of therapy.
He meets Lucy’s mother, not realising she’s someone from FTL. They fall in love, she ends up pregnant, but leaves and goes back to FTL before Henry ever knows that he’s a daddy.
– They have some sort of adventure together and wind up in the EF during “a time of great upheaval”
Lucy grows up in FTL, and when some bad crap starts going down, and her mother is in danger, Lucy escapes to our world to track down her father and bring him back to FTL to help save the family he never even knew existed.

–Tiger Lily finds Lucy
After Henry goes missing, Lucy/her mother/Tigerlily/etc need help finding him. So they put a call out to Regina, and of course she’ll go to help find her son. She leaves Snow to run SB while she’s gone. With Emma dead, of course Hook will go to help save her son in her stead. He leaves Charming to be Sheriff and look after SB while he’s gone. And by then Rumple has had some time to experience what it is to have family, so he’s not as dismissive of Henry needing help any more. Also, they could do with all the magical help they can get in they’re gonna be in FTL searching for Henry who was taken by some magical being of some description.
So that gets our 3 returning regulars in position for the whole plot of the season, and there’s believable reasons why the non-returning regulars aren’t around.
I’ve had a growing feeling recently that the new guy is gonna be AdultPrinceNeal. The little girl being Latina just screams Regina/EQ’s daughter.
So how about…by the end of the finale, WHATEVER happens that smushes all the other realms into one, so Enchanted Forest and the Wish Realm become the same thing. Snowing leave SB to go and sort that hot mess out and rule the new realm. EQ and Robin are also there, (but we don’t necessarily need to see them).
At some point in the NewRealm’s future, something goes horribly wrong and the whole place gets destroyed or somesuch. By that time AlternateOQ have had a kid (TL baby cures EQ’s barreness, I dunno, people speculated that OQ would have a baby for ages, so let’s just go with it). As the NewRealm is being destroyed, AdultPrinceNeal and AlternateOQDaughter escape to the past and land in SB, (nice mirror to Emma and Pinocchio coming through the tree), to seek help from the people in the past who stayed there.
By the point in time they go back to SB, Henry’s left for RealWorld college, and something’s happened to Emma, (which can be explained through a flashback in JMo’s single ep appearance in the premiere), so the only people left to help them save the future are Regina and Hook, (BTW I’m assuming Rumple dies in the finale and Bobby has only signed on again to do Rumple flashbacks, beause he’s been phoning it in for ages, and I can’t imagine any amount of money being enough to get him to re-sign to play Mr Gold, so he dies, and Belle leaves town to explore the world which is why Emilie’s not coming back).
So Regina gets to interact with her NotReallyButKindaSorta daughter. And they get to continue on a Neal-esque story, because their original Neal story got cut shorter than they had originally intended.

FWIW, he’s also in 24 Legacy at the moment. He’s only been in the last couple of eps, and there’s only 3 eps left in the season, and who knows if he’s gonna be in all of them and if so how much screen time he’ll have. So I dunno exactly how much filming time he’d have had to commit for that, but as far as I know they wrapped filming around about Feb 20, so he was probably working on that through Jan and Feb. I haven’t been following the OUAT shooting schedule closely enough to know what eps they’d have been shooting during that time.
