As someone who’s only actually watched Frozen properly one time, I thought they got everything pretty well matchy. On the one hand that’s good because changing things from a movie that’s so recent would have been like blasphemy to many. On the other hand, it’s a weird fit for this show that always does its own spin on things. So basically, damned if they do, damned if they don’t, so maybe they just shouldn’t have.
That being said, leaving the movie out of it, the story they have planned for the Frozen characters so far seems fine. If I didn’t have, “they’re trying to cash in” in the back of my mind, and just looked at them as characters that could have been created solely for the show, I’d say they’ve set up an interesting new story to add to the mix.

Rumple is The Apprentice, who takes Yensid’s hat to play with, and it’ll all turn to h, e, double broomsticks.
Inside the hat, is that a world/universe/land? If so, then which one?
I’m going with “all of them” (all the “fictional” ones). Yensid pulled the Book out of that hat.

However, the writers in 3×17 even had a meta about this. Zelena, disguised as Ariel, asked, “You let a man die for a ship? Who does that?”
Don’t forget: “It’s all about the tumbl(e)rs.” Actual line written by A&E for a SF flashback scene after Neal’s death. (Really, lock picking is more about the pins, except in this case, it was about the tumbl(e)rs.)

One year ago…
A year ago, many of us were here counting down (I seem to remember posting hourly countdowns…). A year ago I couldn’t sleep for excitement. A year ago, I had to do everything in my power to keep from looking at the clock and wondering when 8pm would hit. And now…here we go again. I want to peel my skin off.
And today…I’m more excited about a bonus feature on the impending Blu-ray release of one of my other shows than I am about a whole new season of Once starting. *sigh* Speaking of said special feature, they released a sneak peek of it, and all the comments from fans I’ve seen have been all “YAY!”, even people who may not be completely satisfied with the specific content are still super happy to see this character again, (he was in most previous seasons, but not the most recent one), and it makes me so happy to see the fandom so united in excitement…then I think of Once-dom and the contrast bums me out.
I just really want to know, are A&E planning on changing the name of Baby Snowflake within the show? I know we talked about it before, but now that we know Snowing are actually rethinking it, do u guys think they’ll go through with it?
It’ll be a one time, joking comment, maybe Emma will say something like it’ll take some getting used to having a brother named after her former lover and Charming will joke, “Maybe we shoulda gone with Baelfire instead,” and it’ll feel like A&E snarking, “Oooo we got so much backlash for naming the baby Neal,” and it’ll make me wanna throw stuff.
In other news, guess I should download that new Shonda show and check it out (no idea when it’ll be on here, can’t recall seeing it advertised).
I guess I’m an anomaly of an SF shipper…I love the character of Hook
I used to, and still would if they weren’t showing me one thing while expecting me to see it as another. If they were actually intending for him to come across as a dysfuncionally obsessed and selfish man then I’d say they’ve done a great job. But the fact that the writers seem to think he’s been acting like a romantic hero makes me question their moral code and resent the character. Sucks because I could still enjoy him if they were handling him in a more authentic way. He could have been really interesting and complex and compelling (I will forever lament the WASTED opportunity that was CaptainFire, it was set up so beautifully in the S2 finale, then nothin’), instead of a whitewashed lapdog. At least it seems he’s gonna have the hook back by ep 7, it’s not much, but at least it’s a visual reminder of who he really is.
Meghan lives in Vancouver though, so this doesn’t necessarily mean she’s gonna be on the show again (much as I’d love her to be). Was she at the premiere, I don’t recall seeing any pics of her?
