ParticipantSo I was kinda surprised that they resolved the Flashpoint situation in just one ep. I’d figured we’d get at least 2. But I guess it’s not like everything is all hunky dory in the restored timeline, so it’s not like Flashpoint is really over and done with afterall.
The fact of RF killing MamaAllen may have been fixed, but then RF didn’t get stuck in that timeline like he originally did, because this time we saw him returning Barry to the future. Soooo, if RF didn’t get stuck, then he didn’t kill Wells, and my brain starts to hurt trying to comprehend all the things that may have happaned differently to get us to this point we’re now currently at. Was is JUST that fact of RF not being stuck that one time that set off a chain reaction that led to things being how they are now? Or did RF go popping through time messing various things up along the way just to make Barry’s present a hot mess? DID he go back and still kill Wells?
I have too many questions and too many feelings!!!
PS. Extended promo for next week:
OK, now bring on the Arrow season premiere!

ParticipantSince he’s not a dumb man, and he knows EQ (arguably, they’re always trying to think three steps ahead of each other) I don’t think he’d so easily part with the coin if that would lead Charming to discover he assassinated his father — just because I don’t think Rumple would want the inconvenience of being bothered by Charming clan’s righteous anger.
But if EQ is planning to burn SB to the ground, then Rumple won’t have to worry about Charming coming after him.
Whether or not he’s actually the one who did the killing, I’ve no doubt that Rumple is the one who arranged for Charming’s father to end up dead. Like he said to the Count, he needs Snow and Charming alive and together and procreating. So looking back, Rumple needed Charming’s father to die, so that when the family farm went downhill, the only person there with any way to save it would be Charming making the deal with Rumple to go be a replacement Prince and end up meeting Snow. Who knows how successful that farm could have been if there had been two able bodied men on hand to work it, so dad had to die.

ParticipantI think it’ll be Emma’s non-saviour side, but I don’t want it to be. We dealt with Emma’s dark side last season. It was handled very poorly, but it’s done now and I don’t want to revisit it.
Yup, that.
If it turns out to be the Blue Fairy in the hood, I will laugh out loud with glee.
Do we dare to dream?!?!

ParticipantI haven’t hated the first 2 eps this season, but am already getting twitchy in anticipation of them obliterating Anastasia’s existence in this ep.

ParticipantThat’s the second ep where I actually enjoyed a good chunk of it. And this time it was a Hook moment that was one of my highlights. Who am I and what have I done with the real me?! LOL
Hook’s sincere apology, and self awareness that he’s really NOT actually a redeemed hero just yet was quite surprising and greatly appreciated! I felt like Belle’s side of the conversation let the scene down a bit though, because it came off like she was already kinda like “bygones” as far as the attempted murder.
The flirting between Rumple and EQ was really quite squicky. But Bobby and Lana both nailed the delivery of the lines. So I’m a bit unsure how I feel about that whole hot mess. I can almost rationalise EQ coming onto him in SB, because without the Regina side in her any more, EQ just has ZERO chill, there’s no conscience whatsoever to hold her back from saying or doing anything innapropriate. Rumple being all up on her in the flashback was quite unsettling, given the almost paternal relationship they’ve set up, and the fact that he also lusted after her mother. *shudder*
Bobby was having so much fun in those flashback scenes, and was a delight! I’m not in the camp who thinks the show is ending this season, but I do think Rumple will die. Bobby could still sign on to come back now and again for flashbacks, and that way he’d get to play the version of the character that he quite clearly revels in playing.
Please keep Archie in every ep, I didn’t even realise how much I’ve missed him. <3
The guy who played the Count, he was great. Maybe the best single ep guest star they’ve ever had? He engaged me in the flashbacks, so they were more than just an *insert yet another time EQ tried to kill Snow and Charming* bit that would typically feel totally shoehorned in. And in the present day he actually kicked me square in the feels in the scene where he’d been fighting Snowing and saying that he didn’t want it to be this way, but he couldn’t help it. I actually felt some desperation from him and felt sorry for him, so well played, whatever that actor’s name was.
The CGI rendered rooms seemed to be done slightly better? But whenever there was a shot that had both Regina and EQ in and they were facing each other, the eyelines were just a little bit off and it took me out of the moment, which is a shame because Lana was nailing every line in this ep.
WHAT were those shoes that Regina was wearing though? Just…do we really think that Regina Mills would be seen dead in those horrible shoes? And what even with Emma’s wardrobe…was that white top supposed to be referencing swan wings or something?
EQ sing-songing like Rumple the “Tear yourselves apart”….I’m living for this!
That was the best moment of the ep for me. Lana’s delivery was perfection and made me chuckle.
Snow and Charming were wandering around with their weapons for no reason last episode, but were conveniently unarmed when the Count attacked them.
OMG you’re so right. *facepalm*

ParticipantYes, please, make us watch Coliver break up ALL OVER AGAIN because IT DIDN’T QUITE HURT ENOUGH SEEING IT THE FIRST TIME. *sits on floor and sobs*
I’m SO relieved that Oliver’s not the dead one. But the level of concern he had, and the fact that Annalise tried to make like they didn’t know anything for sure, when she’s actually seen the body, now makes me terrified for Connor. Last week when I was thinking that Oliver was the prime suspect, my reasoning was that Annalise would offer him a place to live if he moved out after he and Connor broke up. And now Connor’s the homeless one. And she’s asked Wes to move in and he declined. And how long can Connor really stomach being at Michaela’s place with Asher there. So now I fear that Connor’s gonna move into Annalise’s place and will be there on Fire Night.
Also, WHAT is on that phone that Annalise gave to Oliver?!?!
I don’t trust the new chick–Meggy. New people can’t be trusted!
The way she was talking about it with Wes, could well have been her trying to deflect attention away from herself. Totally think she’s gonna end up being the one behind the fliers.

ParticipantWhen I first saw this news, I joked that the god zapping crystal had turned Robin into a god, and he’d come back as Apollo or something (or maybe Cupid, just, some god that fires arrows). And I wouldn’t have even joked about it if we hadn’t just had Morfetus. But yeah, that thing about him being the Mirror sounds about right.
I saw a lot of excited OQ shippers on Twitter immediately after the news broke, and I fear that they’re gonna come crashing down when Robin’s return isn’t really what they were hoping for. (Though considering how A&E have caved to the fans already, it wouldn’t surprise me if they end up finding a way to bring him back permanently after such a huge reaction to him coming back. It’s probably been a while since there’s been so much positivity in Adam’s @ replies.)

ParticipantWhat is Emma wearing? I thought the black jacket was gonna be bad, but WHAT is THAT?
Phee
ParticipantMorfetus
Brilliant!
I think the only way to fix it is to have Rumple die for Belle and Mofetus, thus changing Belle’s mind about Rumple and I guess, in turn, changing Mofetus’s mind.
Yeah there’s no way Rumple’s surviving long enough to see this kid grow up. And with the warning that Belle’s been given from Morfetus, she’s not going back to Rumple any time soon. Rumple’s death is the only way this gets resolved. (Whoever it was wrote that article speculating about one of the leads dying sooner rather than later, that was written after they’d seen the screener of this ep, yes?)
