ParticipantIF he comes back, like I said, I imagine it’d only be at the very end of the show’s run, so a year or maybe several years from now, and I wouldn’t imagine it’d be a season long arc, it’d just be the big finale arc for the whole shebang, (a SF movie, like the S3 final was a CS movie). So if by that time MRJ had another gig on another show, they could still make it happen. Right now though, he’s definitely moving on to other things and won’t be on Once.

ParticipantCrystal, I’m so sorry about your friend. Even if it’s not someone you were immediate friends with, that doesn’t dull how tragic it is when someone takes their own life. *HUGS*
Is there a WRONG way for ONCE to do an LGBT relationship? In other words, as a member of that community (Crystal and others who are reading this and are)–is there a way that would NOT be acceptable for your community–if we leave anything abusive or manipulative, ect.
I second that question. I’ve said before certain things about how I wouldn’t want to see LGBTQ characters represented, but that’s just the opinion of a straight person who doesn’t want others with already negative views to be given more fuel to add to the fire because it saddens me to see people buy into that ignorant mindset. If this show portrayed a same sex relationship in a way that challenged and changed the negative views that some people have, that would be a wonderful thing.

Participant*HUGS* DSB! As much as it sucks, and though it doesn’t leave you with a positive emotion as far as the current state of Emma is concerned, at least something good has come from your fangirl anguish on a personal realisation level. Even if realising it hasn’t been an enjoyable experience, at least you’ve gotten something worthwhile out of the hot mess of the show. Kudos to you for having the guts to spill your guts for us. *HUGS*
As for whether or not we’ll see Neal again someday, like I said before, that’s what I NEED to buy into for the series endgame in order to tolerate what’s happening now and in S4. And if it ends up being deluded, so be it, but it’s a tool I’ll use in order to get through in the meantime.
Like RG has said before in various forum threads, it’s likely that there will come a time that our Saviour will be required to die, because she’s got the Jesus tones to her being the SAVIOUR. Well if Emma’s gonna die some day, guess who’s now there on the other side. They could still pull their take on the Underworld myth of whatshisname going to drag whatshername back from the other side. Put their Saviour head to head with Hades himself as the climax for the whole series, and have her win, and bring back her own happy ending by bringing Neal back with her. They COULD do that. It would be an awesome story. That doesn’t guarantee that they WILL do it.

ParticipantYes she would have brought her back because Saviour and Marian was going to be unjustly executed. But she wouldn’t have had her there in the Diner all, “Surpriiiiiise look who I brought back!” I think if she knew, she’d have put Marian up in a room at Granny’s so no one saw her before Emma had had a chance to give Regina the heads up.

ParticipantUnless someone can confirm if she had the necklaces around her neck again once she was back in SB (still haven’t watched so I have no idea), I think she probably just moved them to her wrist so they wouldn’t mix up with the FT clothes that they had to wear while they were stuck in the EF.
She was wearing a turtleneck in SB so you couldn’t see her wearing them, but yes, I believe she just moved the necklaces to her wrist because they’d clash with the FTL costume. No point in going to the trouble of dressing the part if her modern jewellery would then give her away. You can see her circle pendant that she always wears around her wrist too (in the bottom screencap, it’s on the outside of her wrist). She just put both necklaces around her wrist for safe keeping where they wouldn’t be so obviously seen.
I just want to write things, but I can’t without backing up my opinions with facts.
I’ve been thinking at some point of going all the way back to S1 and doing a full rewatch and making up a master list of all the SF breadcrumbs that have been scattered through the story right from the beginning. But I fear that seeing little Bae in flashbacks will be too much for me at the moment. *sigh* (If anyone else feels the urge to do something like that though, you’re welcome to take the idea and run with it.)

ParticipantSaw a tumblr post that said Emma had the swan pendant attached to Graham’s shoelace in the FTL stuff. I had a closer look, and it’s definitely there, but it’s not attached to the shoelace, she’s got both her necklaces wrapped around her wrist when she changes into the peasant clothes. Proof that she was wearing it at the start of the episode in SB. Proof that she still wears a reminder of Neal. (You can see it dangling down in the top screencap, and it’s on the inside of her wrist in the bottom screencap.)

ParticipantPrompt: Something Emma taught Neal.
Neal Cassidy thought he had tried everything. After spending centuries eating whatever he could find in depths of the forest in Neverland, the world without magic offered a seemingly endless amount of new delicacies for him to try. He spent the last decade or so making a point to try as many different foods as possible, whatever he could steal or could scrounge up enough money to buy, he ate. He considered himself quite an expert on American food, as weird as it often was, and all the ways it could be enjoyed.
That is, until Emma Swan came along.
The first time she had suggested he put his potato chips inside of his hamburger, he thought she was crazy. Surely those things weren’t supposed to go together, right? But he begrudgingly tried the combination anyway, and to his surprise it actually wasn’t that bad. In fact it might have been a little bit better than good, but he would never admit that to her.
About a week later, while running inside the nearest building to escape the pouring rain at 4 a..m., they ended up in an old diner on the corner of the block. That was when she started dipping her french fries in her milkshake, and insisted that he join her. I mean, was she insane? But he never had been good at resisting her smile or those sparkling puppy dog eyes, and luckily for him that one ended up tasting oddly delicious. Then again, everything always tasted better in the middle of the night when you hadn’t eaten all day. He would have to try that one again sometime soon, just to be sure it really was edible on a regular basis.
The one she could never convince him to try, however, was broccoli dipped in mayo. Oh, how he hated mayonnaise, just the thought of it made him want to gag. Which is why one day when she had been snacking on it and he had stupidly dozed off next to her, she stuck a bite in his mouth and he woke up to the sickening taste of mayo on his tongue. He would get her back for that, Emma Swan had no idea who she was dealing with – this meant war.
But his favorite Swan Concoction, as he liked to call them, was the light sprinkling of cinnamon on their hot chocolate. She had made it for them on one of their first nights together, and she had insisted their was simply no other way to drink your hot chocolate. Maybe it actually was a perfect combination, or maybe it was just the way her eyes lit up when she tasted the cinnamon-y sweetness, but he couldn’t get enough of it. And he didn’t think he ever would.
That whole drabble was so lovely. Then the final paragraph went and PUNCHED ME RIGHT IN THE FEELS.

ParticipantHonestly, I don’t buy that Marian would have loved Nottingham. From what we saw of him he was a drunk with a complete lack of morals. He tried to buy Belle for a quick screw. All we’ve seen of Marian is that she’s a good, kind, lovely person. There’s no way they could get me to believe that she had a thing for Nottingham.
If they do end up keeping OQ together in the end (and let’s be real, it’s gonna happen), they need to deal with this situation in an in depth way. If I were Robin, I doubt I could reconcile the fact that Roland’s future step-mother imprisoned and intended to kill his bio-mother. The only way I can see me believing that that’s a thing he can get over is if we see Regina SAVING Marian’s life in present day. Because you know that fate will try to course correct and eliminate Marian from present day, so she may need saving on multiple occasions, and if Regina steps up to help her, especially if Robin’s gone back to her, that would perhaps even earn Regina forgiveness from Marian herself. So when the time comes that fate DOES catch up to and eliminate Marian from present day despite Regina’s previous efforts to save her, it wouldn’t feel completely wrong if OQ ended up back together.

ParticipantLauren, you’ve outdone yourself with that manip of all the Hooks! I LOLd. Then I wanted to cry because of how accurate it is.
