Neal points his true love to her home, he gets to remain dead. Because the 47,593 ways to save him weren’t something anyone felt like doing this week.
The worst part is, if they’d just allowed Rumple to remain in character, they could have brought Neal back so easily. Instead we get him not caring that his son died when he was at the height of his obsession to find him, and we get him regresing and dishonouring what Neal would have expected of him in present day. *FLIPS TABLE*

Nevermind murdering BB, that ship that Emma was so thrilled that he gave up for her, he chose that ship over Eric’s life. Sweet ERIC who never hurt anyone. I actually tweeted Adam to ask if Emma would ever find out about that (though obviously she won’t).
I enjoyed seeing Emma getting to interact with everyone in the past. Her reactions were fun and it was beautiful that she got to see her parents meet and fall in love.
If they make Regina go DARK over this and resent Marian at all, I dunno if OQ could be salvaged, even if fate course corrects and Marian dies somehow, even if it’s not by Regina’s hand.
Also, if Robin knows how Marian died, and in the original timeline she was held prisoner and executed by Regina, how is OQ even a thing to begin with because Robin should HATE Regina?
I hate that what should have been a beautiful moment in their relationship is so severely tainted due to Rumple’s secrets and lies. 🙁
Also, it was of Emma to have like no problem with taking Past Marian back to the future and yet she told Rumple to drink the memory potion to forget about saving Neal. What? Emma didn’t want to alter the past but she brought back Marian? That makes no sense either.
It was completely hypocritical of her.
And no, there’s no way I can believe that Dark One Rumple, who was OBSESSED with finding his son for CENTURIES would just shrug off the fact that he died and not even attempt to change it.
So much to say and I’m sure I’ll ramble about it at some point, but right now all I can say is that I truly do not understand how they could build such a beautiful story for Emma and Neal and just toss it in the trash. It was Princess Emma’s true love fairytale story. And they threw it away.
Actually I will rant about one thing right now. Emma told Rumple to forget what she told him so the future wouldn’t change, at the same time as she was taking Marian back to the future where she didn’t belong, like that was totally fine and wouldn’t affect anything in the future, having a person there who didn’t belong. Hypocritical much?!?!
