If I thought there was a chance we’d see Glinda again, I’d be declaring her Sneaky Glinda. Instead I think she’s just Inconsistently Written Glinda.
I think it’s awesome that Emma is going to have the chance to really see the world her parents knew for the first time.
I do love that she’ll get to experience FTL and its inhabitants in all their glory. In the Canadian promo Hook asks her what she’s looking for and she says “home”, and this trip back in time will be her journey to discover what home truly means to her, and to see and accept that all of that FTL stuff really is a part of her, which will help her decide to stay in SB, with her family, who are her home.
Thus, now, when all signs point to CS, we’re still trying to say, A&E are capable of more!
Signs are NOT pointing to CS though. Everything in the actual show has been consistently showing Emma as being not at all interested, they’ve even got to the point where she’s blatantly stating it, right in front of him. The most basic reading of the show, which is the point they’re trying to show to the GA is that she’s not interested. Even with Neal removed from the equation, Emma’s shown no interest in getting with Hook. It’s only if you listen to the online fandom that any thought of CS being headed towards being a thing will enter your brain.
And yes, we SFers dig below the surface for clues just like the other side does as well, but if you look at the surface of SF, what was presented to the GA, it was multiple professions of love and them laughing together as they walked through the woods after having finally been reunited, (meanwhile, Hook says he’s never seen her smile, that’s a contrast that even some of the GA should be able to pick up on if they recall just a few episodes back).
On the most basic level, what the show has shown us is that she loves Neal, and being around him, and she is continually showing disinterest in Hook. I really don’t believe that the writers are headed for a CS relationship, judging by what they’ve shown us thus far.
Don’t they tend to only list the guest stars who have speaking parts? So maybe those who are missing we thought would be in this Ep are just not talking…
True. Though you’d think Marian would have lines because it’s not like the GA would recognise who she is without being told via dialogue.

One of the various theories I’m batting around for the finale is that Emma will end up being swept up to Oz in a cyclone in the past, and that’s where she’ll come into her magic again, and will off Zelena, for real this time, not like what happened with Dorothy, and it will be Emma who fulfills the prophecy. They’ve already started characterising her as being more witchy, even with the “ANDWICH” part of a “SANDWICH” sign glowing right over the top of her head. So maybe she’ll end up inheriting that 4th pendant in the finale. I guess maybe the product of TL would be more suited to the heart seat, but it could maybe make her a fit for innocence too, because her magic is so pure.
It occurred to me after a second watching but Dorothy DID meet her 3 traditional companions. Each of the witches represented something: heart, courage, and knowledge. Those were the Tin Man, Lion, and Scarecrow. They just also happened to be the 3 witches.
*cocks head* Huh, so she did.
Emma Swan, tellin’ it like it is. Zelena’s job would have been so much easier if she hadn’t killed Neal.
