The secret scene could be about Will I supposed, but considering Will has been reported in the media and A&E even talked about it at WonderCon, it doesn’t sound like that’s a super big secret they’re trying to keep under wraps, which the finale scene sounds like it IS.
I’m still suspicious that the scene in the barn could maybe involve a Regina/Emma body switch.

He should be able to make his own choice, and honestly I woud never look at Belle the same if she so much as held the dagger out of his reach let alone did anything with it.
So it would be favourable for someone else to have the Dagger instead? The fact of it is that SOMEONE has to have custody of that thing, and whoever that someone is, will have the ability to control him if they so desire. Bobby has said that the farther away from Belle that Rumple is, he more lost he is. If they’re back together, he should be pretty centered, he wouldn’t be a loose cannon, he’d be striving to be the best version of himself, which is what Belle inspires in him. But he’s no angel, and he has his weaknesses, and I daresay he wouldn’t trust himself with the Dagger right now even if they did offer to give it back to him. So it’s gotta go to SOMEONE. Someone Rumple trusts to not abuse the power that comes along with it. Someone the whole town trusts to not abuse the power that comes along with it. I think Belle is the ideal candidate. She wouldn’t actively USE it to stop him from killing Zelena. He’d hold off on killing Zelena of his own accord because he knows that Belle trusts him to not kill Zelena and he’s trying to be a good person because that’s just how Belle inspires him.
I AM not sure I like the idea of BELLE having the dagger… I am of the opinion that spouses/ lovers should support each other equally and one should not rule the other… side by side not MASTER / SLAVE … WARDEN / PRISONER … PARENT / WAY WARD CHILD….
No one would expect Belle to actually USE the Dagger to control him or make him do anything. They wouldn’t give it back to Rumple himself, because he wants to kill Zelena and he’d be unstoppable if he had his Dagger. But I doubt anyone in town would feel the need to control him, because they do actually trust him apart from the Zelena thing, so there would be no reason for Regina or the Charmings, or anyone else to keep the Dagger for themselves. IMO it makes the most sense to give it to Belle. It would mean that Rumple was safe from being controlled by anyone. It’s the situation that would give him the most freedom to be himself, after having been kept prisoner and been controlled for so long.
The tagline has been ‘Wicked vs Evil’ not ‘Wicked vs Savior’ all half season so I’m not surprised that it was Regina. The whole missing year is her living and helping in the ‘good guy’ arena. I think that her actions last episode really show her growth.
Oh she’s definitely been showing growth, no doubt about that, and I’ve been enjoying seeing it, (Regina has been one of the bright spots for me in 3B, which is saying something because I’ve never been an EvilRegal).
But it was, what, a week or so previously (?) in the timeline when Regina couldn’t walk through Glinda’s door because her heart wasn’t pure, but now suddenly she’s able to create pure light magic? Really, I wouldn’t have expected Regina to ever be able to do pure light magic, because no matter how successful her redemption, that dark power made up a large part of who she was for a long time, and those actions made her who she is today, so it’s all still a part of her. I can believe her using her usual purple magic with lighter intent, but find it harder to believe that she could wield pure light magic. So I remain suspicious about this scene.
1) Thinking about Neal, in the cage. And Rumple, in the cage. Well, I mean, at first it was Rumpeal but – have we really seen Rumple in the cage since the magical separation? Hmm. I don’t even really have a theory or a thought on WHAT there is to that, but it seems like it should be A Thing.
We have seen Rumple in the cage just as himself, yes. Zelena sent him back there after Neal died, and he was in the cage during the funeral, and that’s where she brought him the suit for their dinner. It does seem like a Thing, with both father and son having been in cages. You could perhaps argue that Henry’s memories were caged? Maybe that’s a bit of a stretch.
Emma’s one memory of Hook was of him reacting to her hugging Neal? Really?
Yeah I remember discussing that at some point in the depths of this thread, of all the shots they could have chosen of Hook, they chose THAT one? One where Emma wasn’t even actually looking at him? Really? Curious.
Henry’s, for what it’s worth, included similar scenes to Emma’s from S1 (meeting in her Boston apartment, connecting, curse breaking,) then had a Neverland memory and single memory each of Neal and Regina before the memory of the repealing of the curse – same as Emma’s ended. No Hook at all in his, lol.
Not really surprising there wasn’t any Hook memory for Henry, it’s not like they’d ever had much interaction.
Incidentally, Emma’s memory sequence started with her blowing out her candle, aka, wishing upon a star. Still one of my favorite touches of the series. All she wished for was to not be alone on her birthday, sheesh. Perhaps it’s a giant case of be careful what you wish for 😉
It wasn’t just a star candle, it was a BLUE star. And yes, one should always be careful when Sneaky Fairy is involved in any way, shape or form. 😉
I’m a little sad because I was sure that Belle and her true love for Rumple will be what releases him from the witch’s control.
On the plus side, there will be a proper Rumbelle reunion now. They’d better give Belle the Dagger.
So the time travel spell gets stopped. But judging by BTS pics, there’s still time travel, soooooo?
If only they’d let Rumple make her pay for what she’s done. So close to being rid of her.
Rumple’s brain is actually GOLD. LOL But he’s able to function just fine still, even though his brain is sitting in a bowl on the ground?
Regina’s line about, “I am today,” in response to Zelena saying, “So you’re a hero now,” is what makes me think Regina could actually be Emma. I’m all for redemption for Regina, but her actions in this scene just feel a bit over the top “good guy” to be real. And if they released that much of a scene, surely it means there’s a twist to it that they’re keeping under wraps?
I’ve pretty much accepted that we’ll never get an explanation for how Pan had the pic of Henry, but it would be lovely if they did answer that question with a time travel explanation before the season ends.

It’s a pretty major scene! (Like, seriously, if you don’t want the climax of the ep spoiled, don’t watch it.)
I’m wondering if Emma and Regina did a body swap to catch Zelena off guard? That would make the light magic and the speech about heroes more fitting, if Regina is actually Emma.
