ParticipantBelle don’t care if Zelena’s the Wicked Witch, she’ll just get all up in her business and tell her what’s what.
Glad they mentioned doing it for Little John, was starting to think he’d been forgotten about.

ParticipantWhatever. I’ll be on the Bridge of Optimism with Capt. Kirk. They brought Spock back, didn’t they?
I’m guessing you mean a bridge as in the structure connecting two places, but this is the bridge I thought of…
😛for those who didn’t listen to the podcast last night, I brought up some big plot holes and Daniel just ABC, “just hire Jacquelyn already!” They’re getting annoying.
I was hoping there would be some discussion on that stuff, so thank you for bringing it up, hope I can listen to it ASAP.

ParticipantCan Shatner be added to the writing staff, please and thank you.

ParticipantRegina was wearing a blue-fairy-blue dead muppet at Neal’s funeral, and all through NL she had on a blazer that color.
There’s been a lot of blue going on lately. I always associated blue with Nealfire, because of his blue scarves, both as a kid and an adult. Anyway, FWIW, which may be not much, but anyway, that furry blue Muppet collar that Regina wore in the ep where they buried Neal, she was wearing something with an identical collar when she brought Charming back to life.
I don’t want my essay to be tweeted please
If I did tweet him something like your post, I’d rewrite it in my own words. But I guarantee he wouldn’t bother clicking the link to read it, but someone else would and I’d end up with disagreeable tweets from randoms calling me a hater in my @ replies, and it’s not worth the stress when the person it’s intended for wouldn’t even see it. Or worse, he would read it and send one of those “Thanks for watching,” tweets that he’ll often sends to people who point out flaws, which would just make me even more pissed off with him.

ParticipantIf Neal in that moment hadn’t left his father and ensured that someone went to get Emma then Zelena would have them all trapped in SB, taken the baby and changed time.
Yep. Hook would still be off sailing whatever realm. Emma would be engaged to a Monkey. Zelena would be the midwife in the delivery room ready to snatch the Snowflake no worries, because they never found out who she was. They’d all have just wandered around without their memories with no way to break the Curse because Henry wasn’t in town and no one could go get him (Snow probably could have, as Curse caster, but she didn’t remember so didn’t know). In that minute or so of screentime, Neal was the hero who saved them all. If they defeat Zelena, that’s possible because of events Neal set in motion when he had the strength to send that note.

ParticipantAs for the other stuff: I have ZERO problem with them bringing in a non-hetero romance; however I don’t think the first reciprocal relationship (not counting SleepingWarrior) should be the wicked witch who is stealing babies and killing people. Sorta sends the wrong message. Just like I didn’t want Felix to be in love with Pan and for them to be involved because they were being called demons and evil on screen. So from that perspective, I hope not.
Yeah, that! Considering that some people will unfortunately automatically demonise ANY same sex relationship, it wouldn’t exactly be a positive thing to portray anything about that relationship or the people involved as being dark or twisted or untrustworthy. It would give those people more ammo to not like it and talk smack about it. If they’re gonna do a same sex couple, they should be two noble people who are just perfect for each other and have an epic romance. A portrayal like that might actually have a shot at changing some homophobic attitudes, rather than adding fuel to the fire.

ParticipantJaxer, that headcanon of yours is AMAZING AND PERFECT! Love it!!
slurpeez, that long post of plot holes is what I’d tweet to Adam if I thought he’d bother clicking a link for a novel length twitlonger and would respond to it with actual explanations. *sigh*

ParticipantWait wasn’t that because Neal/Rumple were cursed along with everyone else? So he would also not remember anything about that missing year like everyone else. Which was why the convo between him and Hook about the message was a bit vague. Neal didn’t know HE was the one who sent it because he couldn’t remember. Right?
The whole hospital conversation was just weird and vague and it breaks my CaptainFire heart because oh what could have been with their storyline and instead it was non existent, so I don’t like to think about it.
But what I was saying about Neal knowing about Zelena…both he and Rumple forgot the missing year because “they” didn’t drink the potion. But once in SB, Rumple knew who Zelena was, because DUH she’s got him in a cage and has his dagger and stuff. Rumple doesn’t remember how that happened, but he knows where he is right now, and he knows that Zelena is the one posing a threat to SB. Therefore, Neal should have also known, because he was right there in Rumple’s head, hearing Rumple’s thoughts, hearing what Zelena said to him in SB. She may have even told “them” how Rumple came back, because it’s more fun for her to watch Rumple suffer even more, which he would if he was reminded of what Neal had done. So Neal should have been able to tell them all about Zelena, because he’s been eavesdropping every moment they’ve been in SB…just like he was able to do in FTL, which is how he knew to send the potion off to Emma.
Phee
ParticipantHow the heck did Neal not know what Rumple knew when they shared a body since in “A Curious Thing” Neal hears what Zelena is planning in EF and jumps out of his father’s body without any help to send a message to Hook.
While in SB Neal had to have Emma rip him out so that Rumple can divulge a name. A name that he also should have know if he and Rumple were sharing the same body since he was inside Rumple when Zelena held him in her celler. Rumple was cognitive enough remember but not Neal?
This contradicts what happens in “A Curious Thing” If body switched then shouldn’t Neal be insane like Rumple? If they want to go in the route of the body can handle two minds?
I…just… ARGH!!!!!!!
The more you think about it all, the more nonsensical it gets. If Neal was able to be aware enough to have overheard Zelena telling Rumple about the Curse and the memory potion in FTL, then he should have also been aware enough to know Zelena in SB. In both instances, he wasn’t the forefront persona, but in one land he was aware, and in the other he wasn’t? DOES NOT COMPUTE.
Neal should have been able to relay her name himself, without having to be separated. Perhaps you could argue that Rumple was “on” for almost 100% of the time they were merged, so maybe his mind suffered a bit more with the confusion which is why he was nutty and couldn’t spit the name out. BUT, if Neal was aware in FTL, if Neal could separate himself in FTL and remain aware to be able to write a note and tell the freaking bird where to go…then he should have known all about Zelena when he was in the hospital. But in SB, he was clueless, even though in FTL, he wasn’t. DOES NOT COMPUTE.
