Last bit, the photo Onyx posted of Hook in the trunk – yeah, that coffin imagery is really striking (and not accidental.) I also had the thought – someone (maybe Phee?) mused about the placement of Hook in front of that “Game of Thorns” sign. It dawned on me yesterday, what is Game of Thrones known for? Deaths, lots of deaths. Plus, it’s roses – Zelena had the one at the trunk (which made NO sense in the context of the scene, IMO) and the one at Neal’s grave. I had kind of sidelined my thinking that perhaps Hook would be the permanent death, but now I am riding that train – hard.
First time I saw that scene with him in the trunk as a Sneak Peek, the rose instantly reminded me of Gaston, who was killed by being turned into one, by Rumple, who was also in the trunk scene. So, yeah, I’ve said ever since the Spoiler of Doom came out that I thought Hook made the most sense, and all the death imagery surrounding him isn’t exactly convincing me to think otherwise.
Bother. I just found out that we couldn’t exchange our Phantom tickets after all because there aren’t enough seats available at the other shows next week. I guess I’ll have to catch up with you guys when I get home later that night. Dangit!

Interesting observation. I’d been wondering why Zelena’s time spell casting clock on the ground appears to have the astrological symbol for Earth in the middle. Maybe that’s why.
I love how DSB’s map is coming to life, LOL Just looking at the Tent of Optimism, I can almost hear tranquil music playing, (but if MO322 happens, we’re gonna crank up some party music loud enough to be heard in all the realms).
So I found a friend while at the convention this past weekend. Since I was away from all of you for so long, I felt required to own him. Not sure what to name him.
OK so he’s adorable!! He looks mischevious, like he could go rogue at any moment! The name that springs to mind is Puck, like the character from Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Exactly. Another 1 year jump would bookend 3B perfectly. (It would also get Henry’s age caught up properly to Jared’s, because that kid won’t be looking 12 for much longer, he’s probably having another growth spurt right now.)
I actually *can* see RumBelle getting married in the present day. It could be a “Let’s get married now before anything else can tear us apart!”
Given the traumas that Rumple is going through at the moment, it’d be nice if they gave him some time to wind down and deal with all of that. Being in a post-traumatic emotional state isn’t the ideal emotional state to get married in.
Also if they decide to revive Neal they better make it make it a great scene and it better make somewhat sense in order to make up all the pain and anger they caused Neal’s fans.

If it’s a present day couple, I would imagine there might be another “1 year later” jump at the end to get us to the wedding day, (which would be fitting considering we got a proposal after the 1 year jump at the start of 3B). As much as Rumbelle should get married, after all they’re going through right now, I don’t see them turning around and getting married a week later, but a year down the line, I could see that. Same with OQ, at the rate they’d been developing that relationship, a 1 year jump and I could see them getting married.

(For the record, I did like the emotional impact of that role reversal for Regina, showing how far she’s come, Lana was perfect in that scene, but I just can’t get over how UN-perfect the whole hot mess of that situation was.)
About your crack theory I agree that it’s not necessarily all that crack. I’ve been saying for some time that Henry will probably show signs of having magic, and he’s at that magical age right now where that change could kick in. It does seem a bit simple and anti-climactic if they’ve already discovered how to defeat Zelena, and it being Henry would be a nice twist. In the promo, we see Dorothy at least partially defeating Zelena, which could be foreshadowing for another kid around that age to be the one to defeat her for good.
I’m not sure about that. Sure, they have to sacrifice “the thing you love the most”, but does that mean death? Regina could cast the curse in 3×11 because she sacrificed Henry. She didn’t kill him, but she had to accept that she would never see him again. That’s been a huge sacrifice for her (the one she loved the most) too, without killing somebody!
That version of the Curse was set in motion by Pan killing Felix. What Regina did was in response to that, but the actual Curse was happening at that moment because Pan sacrificed Felix.
If Snow Drifts does end up being a time jumping AU version of Snow Falls, then it could well be Abigail and David’s wedding.
