ParticipantIt IS all very curious, there are too many coincidences to be mere coincidence IMO (there’s even a special Tower? Well we just had an ep called The Tower). And I don’t think it would require more than an ep or two, because they tend to power through plot points on this show and wrap them up quickly and move on. And it’s not as though they would be copying WoT exactly, they COULDN’T for copyright reasons, their spin on it would be a FAR simpler version which wouldn’t take long to explain and have play out within the confines of the show.

ParticipantI admit there is something very fishy and off about the way it all went down out in social media land. I don’t know if ABC stuck their noses in, if MRJ asked to be let out of his contract because he was unhappy with his story or with how he was treated on Twitter, if A and E decided to do a 180 on the story, no idea. There is something strange but I think it has to do with the business side of TV–not the story.
Shouldn’t the business side be all about saving face though? So even if there was animosity with the powers that be, you still send a gracious tweet about how much you loved working with everyone and how you’re gonna miss them, and you say that ASAP after the ep airs.
I’m glad so many people have hope. I just can’t be one of them.
It’s OK. If he doesn’t come back, you don’t get disappointed all over again. If he does come back you’re super amazingly surprised. So having no hope is sort of a win/win situation. 😉

ParticipantI’m blindly hopeful and will remain so until I hear MRJ say he’s in fact not coming back;
Yeah, that’s struck me as odd, perhaps even moreso than the rest of the cast not tweeting him goodbyes. He didn’t even live tweet that ep, which you’d think he’d do if it was his last one. He didn’t tweet a goodbye to the cast and crew, and/or a thank you to the fans immediately after the ep. When he did tweet, he said he was “breaking radio silence”, which, why was he even set to radio silence to begin with? And his tweets dispelled some rumours, said he wasn’t fired and didn’t quit, said he’s thankful for all the friends he’s made on the show, said he’ll always be a Oncer. The closest he came to saying he’s legit left the show was when he said he’d let us all know what’s next when he decides what that is, but it’s not like actors on TV shows don’t look for other projects to work on during hiatuses, so he very well could have just worded it carefully. He never actually blatantly admitted having 100% left the show. It’s…odd.

ParticipantPhee can u attatch it again? I dont know where to look
Tried posting a direct link to my other post but it didn’t work. It’s on page 1072. And though it’s not mentioned explicitly, my headcanon involves the baelfiring of time, so you’ll probably want to read about that first in the other thread.

ParticipantWould they have introduced this at all if Ginny hadn’t been pregnant in real life?
Allegedly they had the baby plot planned out before they even knew Ginny was pregnant, and it was just a happy coincidence. Allegedly.
I don’t really have any clear ideas about what exactly she wants the baby for. Kinda like the idea that she needs it as a vessel for the courage, brain and heart, though that’s a bit creepy. Have also wondered if maybe she just wants a baby to raise as her own. And I’m also wondering, if now that the Snowflake will be heavily guarded, perhaps Zelena will just take the Philora baby instead, because it’s gotta be due round about now if it hasn’t arrived already. We know we’re getting Philora again, in 319, I think? The pics we have are of them in FTL, dunno if they’re also in SB this time around, but it’d make sense if they were.

ParticipantPhee I want to read your headcanon
I posted it as a fic a few pages back. There’s a post of mine with the pdf attached.

ParticipantSitting here half watching a Charmed re-run, but really pondering how my headcanon is like one big second chance for everyone, and how fitting that is for this theme they’re trying to push, and then suddenly Paige says, “I believe in second chances.” It’s a sign, y’all, EVEN CORA BELIEVES! 😉

Participantand I suspect Eric is that king’s sonI
Can’t be his son, there’s at least a 200 year gap (if not a bit more). I do think that Hook might have been in the Navy for Eric’s kingdom, (the buildings in the background in Good Form seem to match buildings in Ariel), but there has to be a few generations in between Hook’s King and Eric. And it’s not like Hook’s Naval past is common knowledge. So I don’t see how Ariel would make that connection (assuming the connection exists).

ParticipantDisappointing that she wasn’t Zelena in disguise with the bottle of potion in her hand in that promo pic. Starting to think we won’t get any answers about how he got the mysterious message at all in this ep, and that’s gonna be frustrating.
Good to see my crackship interacting finally!

ParticipantThanks for the comments on the fic, everyone. 🙂
