ParticipantSomeone answer a plot mechanic question for me!
Did Hook’s body actually come out of his grave? Cause it seemed like it was just his soul that Zeus zapped back? Didn’t Hades say that Hook’s body would have begun to rot (and it would….)? Did Zeus fix that too? Or is Hook’s body still in the ground and but Hook’s spirit was given life or something? What about his Excalibur wound? Did Zeus fix that too?
All perfectly legitimate and pointless questions.
There’s are SO MANY reasons why it was a stupid move for them to write Hook back to life at all, let alone the nonsensical way they did it. But they went and did it anyway.

ParticipantI just don’t know why Hades did this thing. When he killed Arthur it seemed like he did it for a specific reason that would be uncovered during the episode and then…no not so much
“And I think I was destined to rule this very kingdom, right here. But…I will need your help.”
Then he kills Arthur, who goes to the Underworld, to help with a quest to kill Hades himself. Does. Not. Compute. Obviously they just needed a way to get Hook a new buddy down there, and were hoping we wouldn’t ask questions.
Anyway, considering other things that happened, I actually found the Arthur stuff to be some of the least offensive stuff in the ep. I’d rather be left to assume that he has a long and involved job ahead of him in order to earn redemption, rather than see him get to move on with the snap of the fingers because he’s insta-redeemed. I can assume that he’s learned some lessons in life, and he’ll not be such a hideous excuse for a human being from here on.
And at least now Gwen never has to deal with him ever again, and can run off and be happily loved up with Lancelot.
My only real concern about Arthur is that he might cause some grief for my dear Cruella when he tries to take over the Underworld.

ParticipantI have so very many very strong dislikes for this episode, that so many of you have already articulated, so I won’t expend the energy to type up a repetition of it all.
Robin had balls re: Regina giving the baby to Zelena.
I was enjoying Robin more than ever because he was still rightfully upset by how Regina had made him hand his baby over. Right up until he conceded that they should give Zelena a chance. Like, dude, no, DO NOT FEEL OBLIGATED TO GIVE YOUR RAPIST A CHANCE THAT QUICKLY.
Urgh, they just wasted the character of Robin Hood so completely, it’s infuriating.
Maurice: Pretty sure TLK wouldn’t work anyway because talk about selfish. He isn’t even going to try and save his daughter and grandchild from a burning room? Why,because he doesn’t like her husband?
Maurice is far from being father of year, but in his defence does he even know the mechanics of the burning red room? I’m so DONE with Rumple these days that honestly I can’t really blame Maurice for wanting to keep Belle away from him at any cost. And if he’s under the impression that she’s just peacefully sleeping, then I can understand why he’d wanna leave her that way until such a time that Rumple is far, far away.

Participant2) Are they trying to tell me that Hook comes back at Robin’s funeral? Like right after? His reunion with Emma literally happens in front of Robin’s grave? I mean. Am I reading the pictures wrong? Please tell me if I am before I properly react.
You know what? I know I am reading the pictures correctly so I am going to go ahead and react.
This is tacky and heartless.
I’m not even talking about Robin’s death; I’m talking about Emma standing in front of Robin’s grave, clearly contemplating all the way she massively screwed up this arc–going pell mell into the Underworld without a sensible plan–and because of the things she set into action someone *died* and then lo and behold, in the middle of this angst, Emma Swan gets a reward in the form of her formerly-dead-but-now-not-so-much-dead boyfriend, Hook. And they stand there, kissing, and reuniting in front of Robin’s grave???
Good lord. Go some place else. Wave your hand, poof him and yourself to some quiet room and make out there. You’re celebrating Hook’s return while Robin *literally* lies there dead in a coffin, not yet put in the ground?!
Tacky.
ALL OF THAT (plus some more accurate words to describe it that aren’t allowed on this forum). Just…wow…the writers have some nerve to pull this stunt. Seriously?!

ParticipantSo I do think this Funeral is for Hook and will be at the beginning of the episode
Promo pic of Emma at Hook’s grave shows a treebranch overhead. Shot of the umbrellas at the funeral looks like that part is out in the open, so it can’t be Hook’s funeral.
PS. WR, i’m getting a new oven installed this week, so Imma bake you several batches of cookies to get you through this ep.

ParticipantRegina tried to stop Zelena from restarting Hades heart, but in the end she let her do it. Zeus didn’t want Hades to get his TL, Regina helped it to happen, so Zeus punishes her by killing her TL.

ParticipantDidn’t Hades tell Zelena that he was over the whole revenge against his brother thing and he just wanted to be with her and the baby? That was a lie.

ParticipantOh hai Zeus, how you doin’!
RIGHT?!
I recognised him as someone who used to be on primetime Aussie soap “Neighbours” a bunch of years back, but had to do a double take and google to check it was him, because I didn’t remember him being quite that good looking! Dang!
