ParticipantBoyfriend is even quicker off the mark than Granny in that scene. He’s all, “Too much sitting around doing nothing already, let’s get this ish.”

ParticipantI really do hope that Snow gets to keep this baby. It would be sad if she doesn’t.
It would be straight up traumatic if history repeated and Snow had another child taken away immediately after being born. So it wouldn’t surprise me in the least if they do exactly that. At least last time Snow’s grief didn’t last long, because she forgot about it minutes later, but if it happened again, it’d be different, and we could get to see her & Charming fighting to get their baby back. Could make for a great new storyline for Snowing & Emma in S4 if Zelena actually does manage to get away with the baby. Emma would get to see how hard her parents would have fought to keep her if they’d been able to.

ParticipantReally like the way they handled OQ in Witch Hunt. They got them off for some alone time, and allowed them to have some great back and forth conversations and establish they they understand each other in certain aspects, without it being instantly lovey dovey.
I like that he has the balls to pull his bow on the freaking Queen, and then even when she tries to choke him, he’s still giving her what for. That sort of tenacity has gotta be grabbing her attention.

ParticipantWhen Rumpel said “feed the madness, it feeds on you”, I thought he was referring to Zelena and her madness, not his. Rumple feeds Zelena’s madness. She feeds on him. The crazier she becomes, the more overly confident and vengeful she becomes, that’s when she’s more vulnerable to making a mistake that he can take advantage of.
Rumpel clearly is at a disadvantage as he’s lost his magic and is locked up. Rumpel’s only tactic is feed into Zelena’s madness. Rumple knows her well, as he was her teacher. He taught her magic and she’s good at it. But if she’s anything like Regina, when she’s overly confident or angered, that’s when she forgets the minor details and Rumple can take advantage.
I like that interpretation. I do wonder though how much he’s actually had to do to help her madness along. His mantra is “you feed the madness and it feeds on you,” and the “you” in both instances would be Zelena, so she’s feeding her own madness just fine without his help, and he’s just gotta sit back and wait for the right moment when her own darkness gets the better of her. He’s been there and done that himself, so he’ll know that she’s orchestrating her own downfall, no matter how in control she feels.

ParticipantThough I’d rather her father be the Wizard, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if it ends up being Leo. If Zelena knows that Snow’s baby is a blood relation to her, it could explain why she’s getting involved with it.
I just hope that if they go that direction, they make it that it was a one time encounter and Leo didn’t even know Cora’s name, otherwise it’ll feel like a retcon of Stable Boy, where there was no indication that Leo knew who Cora was.

ParticipantFriendly reminder that in the ep where Emma asked about Neal’s safety (TWICE), we also got a Phoenix shoutout. A location that connects them and the firebird that rises from the ashes. Symbolism FTW.

ParticipantHis voice was old school Rumple, but he didn’t come across as being all there to me. Old school Rumple was always dignified and in control. Rumple in the cage was jabbering away to himself and shoveling food into his mouth with his fingers like an animal.

ParticipantThat’s what I thought too, Cinders, like it was a warning to her that she really doesn’t know what she’s doing and that she thinks having CrazyRumple as her minion is gonna be an advantage, but it’s totally gonna backfire.
I think it’s a sound theory that Rumple has let his mind go as a coping mechanism.

ParticipantLoved so much in this ep.
Rumple’s scene was a standout. Seeing him like that was rather unsettling.
All the stuff with Regina and Emma working together, their discussions about Henry, and then Regina’s meeting with Henry was all perfectly done.
I like that they’re wasting no time in establishing a dynamic between Robin and Regina. Each of them can give as well as they get, and they may be antagonistic so far, but there’s also an undeniable level of understanding there as well on a couple of things.
SB Zelena creeps me out more than she does in WW form.
Seeing Red with actual lines this time was a lovely surprise!
