ParticipantI really don’t want Mulan to have to experience the whole Philora situation again with Ruby/Dorothy….
This! And even if Mulan weren’t interested in Dorothy or Ruby, seeing them get together and having her end up the 3rd wheel AGAIN, but this time worse because she has to watch 2 women have that moment of finding each other, while she still has noone, just, SO UNFAIR. Why would they bring Mulan back just to kick her while she’s down? I mean, I know these writers make poor decisions all the time, but going to the trouble of bringing Mulan back when they finally do the LGBT storyline just so they could rub her face in it all over again that she just can’t seem to find a love of her own? I just doubt that they’d do that.
I think Dorothy giving the flower to Red may result in an, “I’m sorry, I’m straight…but Mulan over there,” moment. Zooming in on Red’s face in the pic, she looks a bit, “Uhhhhh,” IMO. Both of them having hit on straight girls will be something that Dorothy and Mulan can bond over.
Edited to add, because it HAS to be said, agreed with everyone baffled by that feather! The placement of it is SO random and distracting!

ParticipantThere was so much Emilie de Ravin on my screen, it was difficult for my brain to compute that it was actually an episode of Once Upon A Time, it felt like I was watching something else.
The actor playing Gaston looks a lot like cartoon Gaston and is a much better actor than the wooden previous guy.
It wasn’t the actor, he was just given nothing to do. He was utterly adorably goofy, animated and loveable as Buzz McNab on Psych, so I remember being excited when he was gonna pop up on Once back in the day, and then his role was such a waste and so disappointing.

ParticipantEion sounds like such a lovely guy! Honestly there aren’t many Once actors who I’d put in the effort to go and meet, but he’s one of the few who I would. Even with his flaws, I always liked when August was on screen and that’s due to how Eion played him, and I’d like to tell him that if he ever does a convention near me.
For now I’m about to head to the airport and fly straight to Melbourne for another convention –
I’d been planning to go to Supanova when it was on the Gold Coast last weekend, to meet Manu Bennett (from Arrow), but I ended up getting sick and couldn’t go. Hope you have fun!

ParticipantDid Zelena put Dorothy under a sleeping curse? If so, I guess Red or Mulan are going to wake her up with true love’s kiss. That would certainly be a big move on this show’s part.
If so then I really hope it’s Mulan who does it. I mean, I already hope it’s Mulan as the other half of the couple because it’d feel like a copout if she isn’t, given the setup they’ve done with her. But considering the object of her affection we’ve seen before was Sleeping freaking Beauty of all people, it’d be nice if Mulan does get to play a part in a TLK-breaking-a-sleeping-curse story after all.

ParticipantI hope nothing and noone makes it possible for life to grow in the Underworld. It’s the freaking world of the dead, so by definition there shouldn’t ever be things living and growing there, it’s completely counter to the very nature of the place.

ParticipantThis is not at all a constructive comment, it’s a total nitpick that I just have to get out of my system.
I detest the shade of lipstick they have on Zelena when she’s green. I don’t profess to know much of anything about makeup, but I know that that shade of green, with that shade of red, screams “Christmas decoration”. I don’t typically have strong feelings about makeup related anything ever, but it makes me irrationally twitchy that someone who is a makeup professional chose THAT shade of lipstick out of ALL the shades of lipstick they had at their disposal. It makes her look ridiculous, when she’s meant to look menacing, and cringing at it distracts me every single time she appears on screen looking like that, and it irritates me so much I just had to have a little rant about it.
That is all. Carry on.

ParticipantHer line deliveries felt, for the lack of a better word, monotone?
Yup. Toto had more personality than Dorothy did.

ParticipantHas anyone suggested that baby Pistachio’s real name is gonna end up being Robin, named after her father when he dies? If they have, I agree, if not, I’m saying it now. All the talk in this recent ep about, “I have to get to know who she is before I can decide what her name’s gonna be,” and I’m sitting here thinking, “They’re gonna do it again, they’re gonna kill off the decent guy and then name a newborn after him”. His name is conveniently unisex.

ParticipantThe scene where he declared his love in the flashback was so overly dramatic and just comical (not in the good way), and I just couldn’t take him even remotely seriously. The final scene in present day, he dialed it back a bit and came across as being a bit more believeable.
In the flashback, I think he was probably trying super hard to convince her because this was gonna be his one shot at getting his heart kickstarted again, so he had to force the situation and try to make the true love happen. In present day it seems he’s prepared to be more patient, though he still seems pretty convinced that she’s gonna fall for him, which rubs me the wrong way.
If they’d written it a bit differently, with him being less forceful about the whole situation, I’d be more inclined to say that they could actually be a great couple. I mean, considering who each one of them is, and what their issues are, on paper they’re kind of a perfect match. Not the type who’d really have a healthy relationship, but there’s stuff they could bond over. If they’d taken the time to show them actually fall for each other, I could get behind it, but this whole thing with him falling in true love after one bike ride and then deciding that they belong together forever is ridiculous.
That being said, if Zelena falls for him and decides to stay in the Underworld, and it gets her permanently off my screen, then I wouldn’t be overly upset about that.
Why else would he bring her baby to the underworld if it’s not to use as leverage against her, to force her to stay with him forever in Hell.
He doesn’t need Zelena’s baby now that he’s gonna get Rumple’s.

ParticipantI could see it if maybe Charming’s in a life threatening situation, no actual way to get out of it, and as he starts to fade, Snow does too, and he tells her to take back the half of her heart, so she can keep living, and he’s the only one of them who dies.
