In a thread somewhere last week I posted wondering if Will not being one of the brothers would change things. There may very well be some big magical event that would be caused by the 3 brother Genies being reunited, and that magical event would have to do with them being freed, which is what Amara’s game was all along. With Will in the mix, I do think it changes what kind of magic will or won’t happen.

That’s what I was thinking as soon as Nyx said the water had to be returned. No other way apart from Amara’s body going under in the well. I was almost screaming at the screen because Cyrus didn’t seem at all concerned with what returning the water would involve.
Not surprising, though it’s nice to hear some talk about Jefferson from Seb for a change, instead of just A&E repeating for the frillionth time that they’d love him back if possible. Judging by Seb’s comments, it sounds like he’d be perfectly happy to come back and be Jefferson again if they asked.
I like the idea that the big design on the ground represents a compass in some way. Would certainly play into the typical Oz mythology which has the witches from each compass direction. Why would it need to be drawn out so big like that though? I’m wanting to say it’s gotta be portal related somehow. Maybe this is the nexus point of the NewCurse or something?
One thing’s for sure, it’ll be the episode with the Snowflake birth. David Anders is in town and shooting, and it makes sense for the resident doctor to be in the ep where a baby is born.
I’ve been back and forth over whether I reckon Snow’s a real candidate or not for the death. It would shake the show up in a major and compelling way, but it might be pushing things too far. I don’t think her status as a lead is enough to protect her, because even if she left, there are still two other powerful female leads in Lana and JMo. Rather, I think of it as Snow being in the same category as Henry: “it’d be like killing a sweet little kitten”.
I could see it if during the birth, the stress on Snow’s body and mind causes her to drift in and out of consciousness and remember the missing year. We don’t know for sure that they’ve figured out who Zelena is yet, I know they’ve seen her all witchy in the street by now, and she wasn’t done up all green, but perhaps somehow she’s still been able to keep her true ID under wraps. So maybe sweet Zelena the midwife is there helping with the birth, and as Snow slips in and out, she remembers things about the missing year that cause her to figure out that her midwife is actually the WW. So she’ll start jabbering away with the “Get her away from me, she’s gonna hurt my baby!” And everyone else will just think she’s confused and not take her seriously. Then out comes the baby and SURPRISE Snow wasn’t talking nonsense, the midwife is evil, and the baby is instantly in danger.
Five Dwarves are missing, only Grumpy and Happy are in this scene. You’d think that at least Sneezy would know enough to stay away from the town line.
I know there’s been some debate about whether Neal’s comment in 312 was foreshadowing for him casting the NewCurse, but the way Zelena was lurking and smirking makes me positive that she’s the one who did it. She wants to take everything away from Regina, and there’s a whole town’s worth of people turning on her, ignoring the progress she made, and tempting her to act evil again, and Zelena’s lovin’ it because her plan is working perfectly.
I also love it when people on tumblr write Neal essays that make me wanna scream PREACH!!!
I have NO clue what it all means but I do feel like it means something and maybe it is because her relationship with Neal is still broken
I think it makes sense that it broke when she lost her new memories of him. Their relationship had begun to heal when she learned the truth of why he’d left and that it wasn’t doing maliciously, then all that progress went *POOF* and the strings snapped because SF suddenly got broken all over again.
You can see what looks to be the string from which the dreamcatcher was hung in Emma’s bag.
I think she’s got it under her arm in that shot. It’s either a couple of frames before or after that screencap, when she’s bent over a bit more, and you can see the curve of the hoop part sticking up when she’s more bent over. We don’t see her put it down anywhere before she walks over to the camera, but she’s holding her arms out more when she picks the camera up, so I dunno that it would have stayed stuck under her armpit. That’s probably two different shots cut together though. From what little we can see of the coffee table in the shot where she walks over to the camera, it doesn’t look like she put the dreamcatcher down. It could just be a case of them slipping up when they were shooting the second part of the shot, and not having her still holding it, or maybe she slipped it into her bag at some point. Unless and until we’re shown otherwise, I’ll believe the latter.
Love at first sight is when a person feels an immediate romantic attraction for a stranger. Feelings can be mutual, but sometimes not as we will see.
I think this is a good definition but by this definition ALL our couples fit into it–even if the denied it for a long time.
Yeah, I wouldn’t necessarily classify “romantic attraction” as translating to “love” in every instance. But if you’re using “romantic attraction” as the definition of “love” then just about every couple will fit.
Neal was instantly taken with Emma, and the attraction might not have been instant for her as well, but by the time we got to the end of their first scene together in the Bug, she’d definitely decided she was attracted enough to go have that drink with him. Whether either of them fell in love in that scene or not, we dunno. Whether either of them fell in love by the end of that drinks date, we dunno. But by the end of that first scene, they’d established enough of an attraction that led to them staying together 24/7 and falling in love at some point.
With Snowing, we know that the moment Charming actually fell in love with her was the Troll Bridge, because he’s actually said exactly that (in 310), but he no doubt felt some sort of attraction to her the first moment they met, and vice versa.
With CS, Hook has been attracted to Emma for some time, but I don’t think he himself considered that attraction as “love” until the kiss, judging by what he said in the Echo Cave about it having been the kiss that made him realise what he truly felt.
With OQ, I think Sean said in a recent interview that he’s been playing it like Robin felt an instant attraction to Regina. She’s the one he addressed and offered his hand to when she and Snow were on the ground. It’s not every day that someone would choose her over Snow in a situation like that, so I think that Robin would have made an immediate impression on her, though I dunno that I’d label that impression as “romantic attraction” on her part, though I’d say it probably was on his part.
So, yeah, basically, if you’re using that definition of “instant romantic attraction = love at first sight” then I’d say lots of couples have it, but I don’t think the two necessarily equate with each other. A person can have an instant romantic attraction to someone, and it can either lead to nothing, or it can develop into love. I guess it might be tempting to say in hindsight, “they were so love at first sight,” but that statement wouldn’t necessarily be accurate, because just because you end up in love with someone, that doesn’t mean that it had to be an “at first sight” thing, it’s just that it developed into love.
I guess in the fairytale sense, I’d classify “love at first sight” as the fireworks moment when a pair first see each other and instantly know it was fate that they’ll be together forever and ever, and I’d probably only classify Eriel as being that, because Ariel had zero doubts he was the guy for her for forever and ever, and he seemed to remember her in a similar sense when he saw her at the ball.
I think it was Love at First Sight for Victor when he first laid eyes on Ruby back in 1×03, even if he was cursed.
I’m trying to imagine what the woman in red would have looked like to the man from the land without colour. The sight must have been overwhelming.
I will forever believe that red being the only colour Victor ever saw in his world, and red being the colour of heart he so desperately desired, was foreshadowing for his intended being the girl who always wears red. My kingdom for just one legit, romantic, Frankenwolf scene at some point!
