I enjoyed pretty much everything in this ep. Emma dating a Flying Monkey is rather absurd, but I’d had a bit of time to get used to the idea, so it didn’t bother me when I actually saw the ep.
I liked seeing Henry and Emma play videogames (anyone know which one it was?!)
Diablo And Henry was at level 23, which is a LOST number. And on the screen for Emma’s character selection, it has a bow as the weapon, which is kinda cool.

But I believe that Ariel was sent to exactly where she was when the Regina’s curse started, which is the sea. I believe Ariel was given the message to give to Hook, because she can swim through different realms. I believe as the new curse was started was when Ariel got the message to Hook. I believe its bc of Ariel that Hook was able to travel to our world on the Jolly Roger, and that’s how he got to NY.
Anything that gives Ariel scenes with Hook is OK in my book (I will go down with this crackship LOL), but I dunno how she could actually help him travel between worlds. I don’t think she has the ability to open up a portal or take anyone with her when she travels between worlds. I do however agree that she should have gone back to the ocean when the Curse returned them from whence they came, and if someone needed a message (and/or portal making device of some description) delivered to him, and if he was back on the JR and on the open seas in whatever magical realm by then, then Ariel (or at the very least a mermaid) makes a lot of sense as the messenger.
We know that Hook and Ariel have present day SB scenes coming up, so maybe that will tie into flashbacks of how he got his mystery message.

The start of 3B seems rather like the start of 3A. SF are separated in different worlds. Emma didn’t remember him/thought he was dead. Still they have development and explanation of how they understand each other.
Now, you’d think that they wouldn’t want their 3B arc to be an exact copy of their 3A arc, they’d want it to contrast at some point. In 3A, they had an almost lunch date but got interrupted, then were torn apart completely. If they wanna contrast that, they’ll actually get the lunch date (which, now that I’m thinking of it, could work as a nice little comparison to her date with Walsh), and they’ll get to stay together. I’d like this in 322, please and thank you.

I actually had been expecting them to be CGI’d in, because they’d turn back into Fairies, and everyone else in that shot is the people who were standing at the town line, in the same positions, so Blue and Tink hovering where they’d been standing would have been perfect. It jarred more for me that those two were missing (and Jimminy too, I know we saw him later, but he’d been standing at the town line as well), rather than having Red inserted. I suspect they do have a plan for some substantial appearances for her towards season’s end, so they just wanted to keep her on the radar, so I’m fine with them having stuck her in this shot.
A set report from the filming of 316, where they were all shooting in the SB street all through the night, mentioned that there was apparently a wolf on set, so I don’t think this 312 token appearance will be the last time they do something like that. Like I said, just keeping the character on the radar in the mean time, even though the actress wasn’t available at the time they were shooting these eps.
I loved all of the “our’s scattered throughout the episode.
Yes, even Regina called it “our castle”. She said it with a scowl, but you know that deep down, she’s actually kinda happy that they’re reconciling, or she wouldn’t be saying “our castle” in the first place.

Love that another one of Emma’s memories is thinking back when Neal let go of her hand and fell through the portal. That was the pivotal “I love you too.” moment.
And right before she drinks it, Hook says, “Perhaps there’s a man that you love in the life you’ve lost.” Then they went and included the scene where Emma told Neal she loved him for the first time in forever. And the shot they used of Hook in that montage, was from the Echo Cave, when she told Neal she’s never stopped loving him and probably always will. Just sayin! 😉
Hook and Henry’s “bonding” time involves Henry’s SASS towards Hook. And Hook calling him a SpitFire! Henry’s a mini version of sarcasm like his dad!

Oh really? That makes it even more curious that it got cut then.
He even said that if he couldn’t find the JR, he’d just steal another ship instead. His home always has been and always will be the sea.

WAAAAHHHHHH!!!! It could have been so perfect. *sigh*
The fact that Meghan was inserted, all dressed up like Red, I wonder if that could be evidence that when she does reappear properly further down the line, she’ll be in FTL flashback stuff, as well as present day? Like, they had her there in the costume and at the end of the day they were all, “OK we just need one more shot so we can stick you into 312.” Seems like a lot of effort to go to to dress her up JUST for that one shot.
