ParticipantI just saw a post of the bug on Tumblr and it made me think.
I used to think that Emma kept the bug because it not only reminded her of Neal, but it kept her son’s memory alive. It’s very likely this is where Henry was conceived. Even if it wasn’t. It’s the one thing she has that ties her to Neal (besides the Swan pendant (but amnesia!Emma doesn’t have that)) and their child that she had to give up.
And, of course, let’s not forget that she received the keys to the bug the day she found out she was pregnant with Henry. Which, ever since Tallahassee, that is why I think she’s kept the bug all those years. Henry.
But amnesia!Emma has Henry and believes she’s raised him since birth. They’ve had a year of non-fake memories together. And you know what? She has the bug still. The bug doesn’t represent her connection to Henry. She doesn’t need anything to represent Henry because she has him. The bug can only represent her connection to Neal.
Hmmmmmmmmm
Emma’s always had something with her to remind her of Neal. Even after she took off the necklace, she still had their Bug, and she actually had him there physically himself. Then she went to NL, no necklace, no Bug, no Henry, no Neal…and she ended up with his old sword on her back almost immediately. She’s always got something with her that can connect her to Neal, even when she was completely torn away from everything else, something that belonged to Neal found its way into her hands very quickly. It’s almost like they’re fated to be forever connected or something. 😉
Just realised that a fluffy SF vid set to Stuck With You is something I need in my life. LOL
Why is he so beautiful? Gah.

That is lovely!!

ParticipantThat confirms that Blackbeard is a pirate whom Hook meets during the lost year rather than prior or during the first curse.
It does seem to confirm that, but I’m wondering if that was stated as fact, or is just speculation from a reporter who didn’t even entertain the thought that he might be in a way back flashback instead? The actual quote from Eddy didn’t clarify the t-word.
“And we’ll see a little bit of King Leopold when he was younger, and how there were some interactions between him and the other characters that you may or may not have expect.”
We know he’s gonna be interacting with Cora, but “characters“? Guess he probably had a Rumple run in too, because everyone gets one of those, but that wouldn’t classify as “you may or may not have expected”. Maybe Blue helped steer him towards Eva? Or vice versa? Maybe that’s how Blue and Eva met?
“But she will see that tattoo [that she knows belongs to the man who could bring her the best shot at happiness],” Kitsis previewed. “And it will definitely have an effect on her.”
Well crap. Guess I can deal with her seeing it if it happens in FTL but they don’t get together until SB, by which point she’s forgotten about his tatt.
“And I think this year, we’re going to start to see her come into her own by using her brain. She’s going to be a hero that will reach for a book or use her intelligence more than a sword.”
Their use of “brain” made me think Scarecrow. Not that I expect her to be the Scarecrow, but she could be a present day parallel to the Scarecrow. Anyway, it does sound like Belle’s gonna kick some arse in S3B, which will be great to see.

ParticipantFrom the new clip they showed on GMA, I sorta loved that she believed she moved to NYC when there was a fire at her old place in Boston. A FIRE, of all the things! 😉

ParticipantThey need to fill in the missing years of Neal’s life at some point. The years between arriving in our world and meeting Emma, and the years after Emma. That can’t happen in a shared centric.
Previous eps with one word location titles have featured Neal heavily, so Kansas is a contender for his centric.

ParticipantNext big question : where does the flying monkey fit into this!? Is he meant to keep tabs on Emma, or keep her away? If so, that sort of cuts against luring Henry into town for Z to buddy up with him to annoy Regina.
Maybe the plan was for him to latch onto her, make her his monkey bride, then suggest a trip to SB, so Emma would be willingly and unknowingly bringing Henry right to Zelena?
So maybe Z didn’t want Emma & Henry to show up but still hard for me to think she knows Regina and somehow just didn’t know about Henry, but maybe she didn’t know anything about the SB years, just that Regina was the Queen instead of her.
She’s got Rumple, and his Dagger, which means she has access to ALL the info about EVERYONE. “So, Dark One, tell me every little thing you know about dear Regina.” And he’d be compelled to tell her everything.
Sidenote: Now I have an image of Zelena being all smug and demanding info on Regina, which leads to info about Snowing, and Emma, and Henry, and Neal, and everyone, and eventually Zelena’s sitting there like O______O “sorry I asked” because the story is just so screwy. 😛

ParticipantIf she buried it in FTL and didn’t dig it up again before the Curse took them back to SB, she wouldn’t even be aware that she doesn’t have her heart in SB because she’ll have forgotten removing it. She might figure it out when she discovers she can’t feel anything, even after Henry returns to town. That would be problematic, if she’s in SB and her heart is buried somewhere back in FTL and she has no way to get to it.
