ParticipantJust had 10 pages to get caught up on. You folks got chatty. LOL
I love that MRJ’s probably been waiting for a whole week to tweet that #TBT with the perfect SASS. 😉
I love that Matt Mitovich stood by the comment in his article, because it’s a straight up fact. 🙂
I love Lauren’s manip, and that Mikey faved it! 😀
I think the talk of Emma wanting to find Henry a father figure will ultimately pay off big time for SF. We know that Henry doesn’t get his memories back right away, and I wouldn’t be surprised if when Emma does, she’s actually opposed on some level to helping Henry get all his memories back, because it’s seriously messing with her head having the two sets of memories and she doesn’t want to put him through that. Then, if Neal DOES end up kidnapped, or even if he’s just gone off to places unknown and they’re not sure where he is, Emma wouldn’t want to bring back Henry’s memories of Neal, only to have Henry have to go through the sadness of losing him again. Emma knows what the sadness of dealing with losing Neal is like, and she may well want to spare her kid that pain. Meanwhile, she’s still got Walsh as a potential father for Henry, because I don’t think she’s gonna flat out shut him down and break up with him in 312. But at some point, she’ll discover that Walsh is a monkey minion of Zelena, and Neal’s gonna be back, and then Henry will get all his memories back and won’t just have a father figure that Emma’s been wanting him to have, he’s gonna have his actual father. And the SF family will be fully reunited and it will be a beautiful thing!

ParticipantJabbawocky was fricking amazing! Loved the way she moved. Loved how after she got down, she was running her fingers over the grate like spiders, and stretching out her back like a cat, and then slithering around behind Jafar like a snake. SO COOL! Love how she got all up in his face, and how she was so calm and controlled as she was recounting the emotions he felt when his father drowned him. More of her, please!!!

ParticipantJust the other day I was saying how the other two genies were totally gonna be Cyrus’ brothers, so I loved this reveal.
Now that Will is a genie does that throw off Jafar’s plan? Does Cyrus have to be the 3rd genie in order to be united with his brothers so Jafar’s spell will work? Was Amara’s agenda different then Jafar’s.
Exactly what I’m wondering too. There are more than 3 genies in the universe, but those specific 3 were being collected. Amara probably just wanted those 3 to reunite her family, but is there more to it, and does the spell actually require 3 related genies? Because if so, Jafar won’t be changing any laws of magic with GenieWill in the mix.

ParticipantIt felt weird to me how her death wasn’t mentioned by Will when he was released from the bottle by Ana though.
Especially considering that moments before, they’d been arguing about if Ana could be trusted when she said Liz was already dead, and so they were gonna ask GenieWill to clarify…then they never asked him.
Her death was really sad, Will couldn’t even hold her as she died, she just had to lie there alone, it was heartbreaking. But then they didn’t follow through with it.
Not that much time had passed, so it wasn’t really believable to me that Will was 100% over it already, especially considering he’d been stuck there in his bottle with a view of her dead body until Ana came to pick him up, and you know he felt sort of responsible because it was his magic that granted Liz’s wish that killed her. So really, there should have been a bit of angst, a bit of Cyrus and Will discussing how it sucks when your master makes a careless wish that results in disaster, which would have been a perfect little follow up to Will’s earlier line about not knowing what Cyrus was complaining about.
Not having that little bit of closure, lessens the emotional impact of her death in the first place, and that bugs me.

ParticipantWe haven’t had a Rumple centric episode so far this season.
I’m stilling thinking the ep with YoungCora and Co could end up being a Rumple centric. But even if so, it’d make sense for him to get another one. We also need a Neal centric before season’s end too though, and we’re running out of eps if Kansas isn’t it, which it could possibly be, but we just don’t have enough info to know for sure.

ParticipantSounds like an envious sister to me! Green with jealousy over Regina’s royal title, wealth, power, and attention from Cora.
Yep, and it makes sense especially if Zelena is the older sister, which would make her believe that everything Regina had should have actually been hers, because she was there first. I love that their version of the WW is gonna be literally green with envy.
I think Zelena might trick Hook to getting Emma and Henry for the purpose of getting access to Henry. Zelena is driven by Envy–and if she is “taking everything” from Regina, well, how does she “take” the relationship with Henry which is the single most important thing Regina ever had and has for the moment given up anyway? It’s not as simple or evil as wanting to kill Henry for revenge –quite a different goal if Zelena wants to basically take Regina’s place in everything.
Makes sense to me. If Hook does leave from SB, where Zelena is just sweet as pie and BFFs with the Charmings and everyone else, I could see that maybe she had a word in his ear and accidentally on purpose suggested that he go find Emma and bring her and Henry back, all in a bid to get Henry back in town. And if sweet as pie Zelena is BFFs with the Charmings, and Henry still has no memories, they’re unlikely to introduce him to Regina as his mother. So Zelena gets to pal it up with Henry and his fam, while Regina has to stand by and watch, unable to tell her son that she’s his mother, which would be torture for her. If that IS Zelena’s game, then I don’t think it’s gonna hold together for too long, but I could see that being her plan, and given that she needed Henry in town for her plan to happen, it’s believable that she’d have had something to do with Hook having been sent.
An important question here though is: What curse is this? Is it the old one revived, or a similar one?
It doesn’t seem exactly the same due to the associated memory loss working differently, but I do think it’s essentially the same Curse. Oh idea – maybe Zelena orders Rumple to create her a new Curse, just like the old one, but with a few customisations.

ParticipantThis sorta felt like Graham dying from ONCE. The good character who has been helpful and kind and sweet but got a raw deal.
Well crap, I still haven’t watched it yet, but seeing that comparison makes me wanna brace myself, because all this time later and watching Graham’s death still breaks my heart like it did the first time, so if this is similar: 🙁

ParticipantI didn’t get any anti-Neal vibes…
He wasn’t so much anti, he was just very dismissive. If Hook doesn’t have his memories of the missing year, then that dismissive nature is understandable and we can keep some sliver of hope that there was CaptainFire development during the missing year. But if he does have his memories, and is being dismissive of Neal, that likely means there’s been no evolution of the CaptainFire relationship during the missing year, and that’s something all sides of the fandom have been wanting to see, and if Hook and Neal didn’t deal with some of their stuff during the missing year, then it’s probably never gonna happen, which would be HUGELY disappointing and a MASSIVE missed opportunity for some good TV, IMO.
Yes? No?
Sounds about right to me.
