Well, he mentions SB, and everyone having been taken back there, so I’d guess he came from there too? Otherwise, how does he know they’re all there?

But I do think there is a very simple explanation: because Colin looks good in black leather. That’s really it. In the black leather and eyeliner he is 100x more marketable than he ever would be in normal clothing.
That’s definitely true, but I still think they could tweak his look to be more modern without losing the pirate-ness. Still have him in a black leather coat, but a shorter (maybe 3/4 length instead of the super long one), modern one. Modern black button up shirt with the top half of the buttons undone, same way he wears his pirate shirt. Black jeans. He can keep his same shoes and jewellery. Ta-da, modern twist on the pirate look that’s still totally marketable. Honestly, it’s just getting a bit ridiculous that he’s the ONLY person getting around SB in his full FTL costume on a daily basis.
I like what they’ve done with Robin’s costume, modern clothing, but still with a touch of the FTL in the accessories so he still looks like his character. Why can’t they do something like that for Hook, too.
Just saw a comment from someone on tumblr that MRJ sent them a DM to tell them he got the cozie she’d sent him. RG and Jo, get cracking on that hat and scarf!

The Wicked Witch, Glinda (Sunny Mebrey), and flying monkeys are appearing on the show. Will we see other Ozians?

We will see a few other iconic Oz characters throughout the season.This is curious to me because we’ve seen no casting calls for other Oz characters, and the season is almost over, so if they’re “throughout the season” that implies they’ve already been in eps and we have no idea about it. So either they’re just bit parts it wasn’t even worth releasing casting spoilers for, or they’re something super cool that they wanna keep secret.
You’re missing Jefferson. Maybe, just maybe, they’ll FINALLY be able to get Sebastian Stan back, and they’ll have him do an Oz flashback in reference to what was discussed in “The Doctor.”
That would be the coolest surprise ever and I’m trying not to get my hopes up because it would be so perfect that I might weep if it doesn’t happen. They’ve previously established that he’s been to Oz. He got a crystal ball, and WWW famously had one of those. He was investigating the slippers. If Zelena’s been trying to get to FTL for some time, she maybe tried to snatch him or his hat when he was there because she needed the portal. He’d be such a perfect fit for an Oz flashback, and if they’ve managed to shoot that on the downlow, they will get ALL the cookies.
I just don’t get why ABC thinks it’s a good idea to leave off 3 characters. They know the fandom will explode in anger and rage. They know the headache it causes for Adam on Twitter. So why not save themselves the trouble and just put everyone on a poster. It’s obviously easy. The fans already made a quick mock up.
THIS! Like, are they new? Do they have the memory span of a goldfish and have already forgotten how people reacted to the promo posters for S3A? Why are they doing the same thing, and causing the same arguments and dramas all over again? Seriously?!
Artseediva, I’m no marketing pro, but that’s what I’ve been thinking as well, in relation to all the Hook promo. Perhaps him getting his own panel in the middle of the big poster is just another step in their plan to hype him up some more in order to get the most mileage out of his death.
