Maybe the Wizard gave it to her….as in Rumplestiltksin.
I was thinking maybe the Wizard too, but I don’t think Rumple will be the Wizard. I was thinking more along the lines of the Wizard having been her long lost father, and she found him in Oz, and he gave her the gem as a gift to try and make up for never having been there for her, hoping it would placate her, but it didn’t help her bad mood any, and she still went about wrecking havoc on the place.
Yeah, but the started shooting 320 yesterday and Jen was not there – same with Sean – so this must be a list of everyone in the episode or else why are these two on the list?
And where exactly would they be getting that information? I’m guessing SpanishOncers is an account run by a Spanish fan, who just collects, interprets, and re-reports all the news and spoilers that are out there? I’m guessing they’re not someone on set, involved in the show’s production? So there shouldn’t necessarily be a lot of stock put into what they say.

I hadn’t looked closely at the guards, but now that you mention it, that one does look like his head is maybe shaped more monkey-like. The other guard’s face looks kind of angular, which makes me think Tin Man, but I dunno that he’d be dressed as a guard. Is there a higher res version anywhere that can give us a better look, because now I wanna see them both better.

I saw a crack vid that had that shot of Neal cut together with the scenes of Regina and Graham’s “meeting”, and now I can’t see that shot of Neal without chuckling. 😛
It would certainly be in character for Hook to be siding with the villain while also playing along with the goodies. It would be a believable backslide for him if they’re giving him a proper redemption arc, like they’ve been doing with Rumple and Regina. I do think they’re gonna give him a redemption arc, so even if they put him in the middle again, I think that ultimately, he’ll be on the side of the goodies.

I think this would be more interesting than his fear of losing Emma, Snow or his second child. It would be a fear about the deepest part of his nature. He might fear turning out badly. He talked a little bit about this fear in “Tiny” I remember.
Yeah, and there’s that deleted scene where George tells him he’s just like his brother, or words to that effect. How that fear could play into the story of Rapunzel though, I dunno.

In Neal’s case, he will be living the nightmare his father lived, being separated from his son. Neal will learn and live what his father felt. Loneliness, desperation, and guilt. Though it wasn’t his fault he is separated from Henry, Neal will feel guilty that he didn’t do more.
Through his journey, Neal will truely empathize with his father’s desperation to do anything to find his son. Through empathy, Neal will finally understand and genuinely forgive Rumple.My heart is already breaking, and I can’t wait to see this playing out. Was very clever of them to put Neal in the same situation his father was in so that they’ll be able to explore how Neal will handle it, given how his father’s actions affected him.
Neal doesn’t approve of Rumple having hurt and used others, and he wouldn’t want Henry to look at him in the same way, so I can’t see Neal choosing the same path that Rumple did in order to get back to his son.
It’s a real possibility that Henry, having altered memories will accuse Neal of abandoning him and Emma just as Neal blamed Rumple. Not knowing the whole story, Neal didn’t understand why his father could never go through that portal with him.
And wouldn’t that just be typical and heartbreaking, if Neal agonises over not wanting Henry to look at him like he looked at Rumple, so he strives to do the right thing and find another way that won’t hurt everyone in the process, and then Henry still hates him, believing he abandoned him and Emma, and abandonment is what Neal held against Rumple for all those years, so he knows how powerful that resentment can be.
Yeah I agree. It is the way of the Stiltskin men, they get super tempted for power, youth, ect. But it has always been up to Neal to break that cycle–just like the cycle of abandonment. And Neal told Henry in 309 that he’d always have a father, he’d never leave him. That was him taking the first step in breaking the abusive cycle from Malcolm-Rumple-Bae. So I do think Nealfire might be super tempted because it’s part of who he is–a Stiltskin–but he’s also already shown that he knows it’s up to him to break those bad cycles.
Yep. They’ve already shown Neal working to break the cycle of father/son abandonment in that family, and that was a very clear cut decision for him to always be there for Henry. But now there will be a grey area, because he wants to keep that vow of never leaving Henry, and also doesn’t want to turn into his father, which he might be tempted to do as a means of getting back to Henry.
It’s all so deliciously cyclical with the angst potential.
As far as August goes, that bike he had in SB, with the Kansas plates, he had to have picked that thing up after he got back from Phuket. So he came back from Phuket, stopped off in Kansas, picked up his bike, and drove it to NYC.
The scene with the bike in Tallahassee is really dark, and parts of the bike aren’t even visible, but lightening it up in Photoshop a bit, I do think it’s probably the same bike. And we hardly get to see any of the typewriter in the Manhattan scene, but what little we do see of it looks like it’s probably a match for his SB typewriter.
So the typewriter and the bike, which he had 11 years previously, he still has the same ones after he gets back from Phuket, which suggests that someone, (potentially located in Kansas, given the plates on the bike), was looking after them in the mean time. Maybe the someone who told him where to find Neal and Emma back in the day, who also maybe told him where to find Neal in present day, and also told him where SB was. Is this someone the “little fairy” he mentioned?
And maybe these things will be answered in this ep?

It’s sad that some people tried to rain on the parade, tried to spin their own lies to try and make themselves feel better because they can’t handle the truth. But MRJ handled it PERFECTLY, and I JUST LOVE HIM A WHOLE LOT RIGHT NOW OK!!!
