ParticipantThey did such the perfect little setup for this, but nope. Bummer.

ParticipantMRJ as Stitch. Yes.
My fave thing about that Stitch drawing is the little Ohana tatt over his heart.
When we become bewitched by theories that cause us pain, we forfeit that magic that captivated us since OUAT debuted 3 years ago. When we become despondent over news about Neal’s demise or a doubtful ”ship” that is noisy with proofs!
A frame of a scene does not a story tell!
So true, great post!
While it would indeed be lovely to hear of MRJ having been sighted on set, I’m not particularly bothered by the fact that we haven’t. We’ve seen Rumple filming one scene in S3B. Rumple, filming one scene. Does anyone think that Rumple is only gonna be in one scene in S3B? Of course not. Applying the same logic to Neal, we’ve had evidence of MRJ definitely shooting one scene, (when he and JMo tweeted pics by the heater), and possibly another if that really was him in the background of the pic from the old farm house. If we’re not gonna automatically assume that Rumple’s only in one scene in all of S3B, then I see no reason to automatically assume that Neal’s only gonna be in one (maybe two) scene and then be killed off. Can’t apply the same logic to both characters and assume completely opposite outcomes. If you wanna apply some sort of logic to it, if both father and son haven’t been seen around set, it’s likely they could be shooting a lot of stuff together indoors.
As for Neal not having been talked about much, Adam has said he gets talked about all the time in the writers’ room. The fact that the media don’t mention him much is down to the media wanting to get hits on their websites and so they post mostly about certain other stuff that gets them those hits. Honestly, the lack of spoilery info about Neal gives me more hope than worry, because it makes me think they could have something really cool in store for the character, that they really want to keep under wraps.
As for the characters carrying on even with Neal not around, and how could they just carry on if he’s dead or even missing…maybe whatever they’re doing is an ongoing effort to find him. Maybe we’ll see Emma determined to find a way to find where he is and get to him, just like we saw Neal determined to find a way to find where she was and get to her in NL. Would actually make for a nice little parallel between S3A and S3B if they did that.
Really, ANYTHING could be happening in the story, we know pretty much NOTHING and so we sit around and make as many assumptions and conclusions as we can, based on very little actual info. So I’m not just gonna assume the worst, and am really excited to see what’s in store for the upcoming story.

ParticipantSmee is still around, hey? He still working for Hook, or is he on TeamZelena now? Maybe he’s doing double duty?
If Rumple knew there were slippers he wanted, why not go himself? Can he not go into Oz due to his magical nature? Perhaps he could not have used those slippers, and perhaps he knew it. The Witch couldn’t take them off Dorothy’s feet in the movie, and maybe it is something similar here where the Dark One’s magical nature prevented him from using the slippers himself.
There are a bunch of little crackpot pieces in my head that I somehow wanna fit together to form a solid theory, but it’s a bit of a mess at the moment.
Anyway, I’ve had it in my head for ages that THE slippers are Eva’s “slippers” that Cora spilled flour on. If so, the slippers originated in FTL and somehow ended up in Oz, which means someone had to take them there.
We know that Zelena has been in FTL, (most likely she was born there), and that she apparently has a past of being taught by Rumple, who is the one who wanted the slippers. So if they had a big falling out, (few days ago I suggested some crack that she turned green when she tried to take the Dark One powers without killing him and it backfired), and if Zelena knew (from having been his pupil) that he’d be after those slippers to get to the World Without Magic, and if she wanted to piss him off because she wanted some sort of revenge over their big falling out, snatching the slippers and buggering off to Oz with them might be an effective way to accomplish that.
If Zelena is someone who has previously tried to take his powers, Rumple would probably want to stay well away from her in future, which is why he sent Jefferson to get the slippers instead of going to get them himself.
Perhaps?
Maybe in the Once version of the story, the WW actually wants Dorothy to use the slippers, because she knows that will take them to somewhere that Rumple can’t ever get them, which would infuriate him to no end, which Zelena would just love.
BTW, something that just occurred to me about my little Zelena-trying-to-steal-his-powers-without-killing-him crack…maybe it’s not completely crack, because we WILL likely be dealing with a Rumple story line where he becomes undone, loses the Dark One curse, but doesn’t die. So if there IS a way for that to happen, it could make sense if they showed someone having tried to do it before.

ParticipantSeriously disappointing that there won’t be an interaction between Neal and Hook yet. *sigh* C’mon people, that relationship is a freaking goldmine if you just stop ignoring it.
I ship Nealfire in his FTL clothing.
If I weren’t such a well behaved young lady, I’d comment that I ship Nealfire’s clothing with my floor. *bats eyelashes innocently* 😛

ParticipantAmara is absolutely Cyrus’ mother, no doubt about it IMO. I’m thinking that Cyrus actually included words like “never die” in his wish to save her life. Maybe, “I wish my family would never die,” and *poof* mum’s immortal and he’s a genie.
Weird that they had talk of Cyrus’ brothers, but there are none listed in the guest cast.

ParticipantWould interiors at Britannia Shipyard actually be inside the Cannery? Because the shipyard is the outdoor bit, right, and it’s sorta hard to shoot interiors when you’re outside?

ParticipantThis will never stop being funny. Of all the super cracktastic theories we’ve come up with over the years–Baeliccho the Wizard of Neverland, Undead Milah Mermaid, TinkerMomma–and FlyingMonkeyMan wins.
It just sounds so straight up wacky, so I hope they have a way to show it that makes it compelling as opposed to giggle worthy. I guess he’ll be acting much the same as Zelena, sweet, trustworthy exterior, with the dangerous truth just under the surface. That could give him a nice edge, rather than, “LOLZ he’s a monkey man.”

ParticipantMorrison: She’s possibly the most terrifying villain we’ve ever had because her desires and intentions are very unclear. The show has begun to feel eerie, in a great way. I read the scripts and go, “Oh, God, what’s coming next?”
I know it can be dangerous to get one’s hopes up, but if even JMo is talking like this, I have super high hopes for Zelena being a seriously fantastic character.

ParticipantLove the food analogies, Ranisha! Dessert is gonna be so satisfying by the time we finally get to it.

ParticipantMethinks Adam is mistaken about no screeners being out there. We know that even Daniel has access to a copy of the ep. Maybe Adam is just unaware that it’s been made available to more people than the ones they showed it to in the writers’ room.
