[adrotate group="5"]Someone mentioned this a while back and I forgot to post it but I actually did see some tweets between MRJ and his pal Donal Logue a few days ago and they did talk about meeting up at some point soon. Donal has been tweeting a lot about his experience having skin cancer so I’m wondering if MRJ wasn’t heading Donal’s way to support him with some kind of cancer charity event? Those happen in California a lot so that would be one reason for MRJ to go that direction for a few days.
In the article that Donal wrote about his cancer (which MRJ retweeted) he mentioned that when he was diagnosed, he was told he had to have surgery immediately, and he asked if he could have it done in March instead because he was due to go to Canada in a week to shoot a movie. I dunno what movie it was, I googled to try and suss out all the details but couldn’t find much. But anyway, if he WAS meant to be working on a movie in Canada some time in Feb/March, and he had to postpone it a bit for his surgery, maybe he was then gonna go to Canada to do the movie post-surgery. Donal tweeted MRJ on the 19th, “see you later this week”.

GoldenKey have you seen these spoilers? That’s what I was going off when I said it’d be Emma’s blood going into the making of the new Curse, because of the scene from the promo with the monkey hand and the potion bottle. Actually, perhaps that’s his own blood he’s about to drip in, and then Zelena adds in the Emma blood that she brought him, and that can tie in with why he’s gotta be the one to marry her and kiss her at their wedding to negate the possibility of an SF TLK.
KFC, I like the idea of Zelena wanting to use a kiss to put Emma into a sleeping curse, instead of bringing her out of one. Nice twist on the usual way that works. And again, going back to my little headcanon where the kiss from Walsh negates a TLK for SF, if Walsh’s kiss put her under a sleeping curse, there’d be no one who would be able to wake her with TLK.
Heather, I don’t want Neal to be a monkey either. And I don’t want them separated for most of S3B either. But on the other hand, the greater lengths the writers go to to keep separating them, the more it sounds like they’re endgame. 😉

My fear is that she’s only coming back for the season finale wedding, and she’ll just be seen in the “town” shots
Nah, they know how much people miss her and want to actually see her back on the show, and I’m sure they miss her as well, so I’m sure they’ll give her something significant to do.
In the scenario I proposed, Zelena wouldn’t be out to kill Emma. If Neal escaped and went to find Emma, Zelena would likely follow and try to kill Neal to prevent him from kissing Emma. Promises to and retribution from Rumple be damned if things escalate to Neal escaping. Zelena still can’t kill Emma, because that breaks the Curse, but eliminating Neal once and for all means that TLK can’t break the Curse any more, and the only remaining way for the Curse to break is with Emma’s death, and no one’s gonna kill Emma, so Zelena resumes complete control as long as she can off Neal. I could see it if Zelena is going after Neal and Hook intervenes to protect him, and sacrifices himself in the process.
PS. Didn’t Daniel say he’d figured out a fix for the spoiler quoting? Because we really sorta need that fixed.
Discussion in chat, in relation to the “new” spoilers (that were actually posted in January), got me thinking.
Emma was tied to the first Curse because it was essentially her essence that was associated with the Curse, which made her the Saviour, able to break the Curse.
If Zelena plans to use Emma’s blood somehow to enact this new Curse, then I’d think the same rules would apply to her being the Saviour. Her TLK could break the Curse, but so could her death.
So perhaps Zelena knows that no one would want to kill Emma, not even Regina, who totally intended to kill baby Emma before the Curse hit, but she’s accepted Emma now, and wouldn’t kill her because Henry loves her. So if the same rules are in place this time, there’s no risk of Zelena’s Curse being broken by Emma’s death.
Problem is, Emma could also break the Curse with TLK. Maybe that’s part of why Hook tried it, thinking that if it worked, not only would he get to be with Emma, but the whole Curse would be broken as well.
Anyway, if Emma sharing TLK with someone will break the Curse, can’t be Henry again because Emma’s kissed him lots now, and she’s had forehead kisses from her parents too, so that just leaves her present day romantic TLK as the one thing that could break Zelena’s Curse.
Zelena doesn’t want that. Zelena doesn’t want Emma to be hanging out with the guy who could give her TLK. Zelena will know that that person is Neal, because Zelena’s got info out of Rumple, and we know he knows what’s up with SF. If she’s got his dagger, she can ask him who Emma’s TL is, and can force him to answer truthfully.
So Zelena plots to keep Neal away from Emma. Zelena would no doubt think that the best way to achieve that would be to kill Neal, but like I said, she’s hanging out with Rumple, and she may currently have his dagger, but girlfriend isn’t stupid, and the new spoiler suggests that she knew Rumple back in the day and he taught her, so she knows he’s serious business, and she knows that if she kills his son, he WILL find a way to destroy her, dagger control or no. So instead, she kidnaps Neal, and him and his Papa have both been held prisoner which is why neither have been seen out and about on set.
Having been chilling in Zelena’s dungeon, Neal is made aware of the fact that Walsh is really one of Zelena’s minions. It’s like a flip of the Tamara situation, where Emma suspected the fiancee, but Neal was oblivious. Emma will eventually accept Walsh’s proposal. Maybe there’ll be some magical whatever that Zelena rigs so that after Emma kisses Walsh at their wedding, a SF TLK wouldn’t even be possible, even if Neal did manage to escape. Knowing this makes Neal all the more determined to escape.
Having all but confirmed that Neal is Emma’s TL, and that if she marries Walsh, she’ll never get to be with her TL, that’s even more reason why Neal won’t die and SF will be reunited, because I really can’t see them robbing TL Incarnate of her romantic TL. That would be beyond depressing.
So in the finale, at Emma and Walsh’s wedding, “If anyone knows of any reason why these two should not be joined in marriage, speak now or forever hold your peace.” Neal, who has managed to escape from Zelena and get himself to the wedding venue: *bursts in like the BAMF he is* “He’s working for the Wicked Witch!” Crap hits the fan, maybe Walsh tries to grab Emma to kiss her and she punches him in the face instead, then Walsh sprouts his wings, and the goodies are all trying to take him out, and in the midst of the madness, Neal gets to Emma, they kiss, and the Curse breaks.
This is just rambling at the moment, but the more I rambled, the more I thought maybe it has headcanon potential.

It was indeed posted back on Jan 4th, before these details were made known to the fandom, so I’d say it had to be from someone involved in the show’s production.Considering other stuff was accurate, I’m thinking about the hows, whens and whys of Rumple having taught Zelena.
Maybe he discovered, some time after Regina was born, that Cora had had a previous daughter, so he set about finding her, figuring that if Cora’s first born was needed to cast his Curse, he needed Zelena, not Regina. But at some point in the t-word before Regina’s first (as far as she knows) meeting with Rumple, things went wrong with Zelena, and she ended up in Oz, so Rumple figured that the prophecy hadn’t necessarily been about Cora’s first born after all, it was actually about Regina specifically. With a thing like a prophecy involved, it sort of goes beyond fate, and into things actually being pre-destined. So the prophecy meant Regina, but Rumple misunderstood and thought it was Zelena, so the universe had to course corrected to eliminate Zelena from the equation to make Rumple turn his attentions back towards Regina instead.
I’d want some sort of explanation like that if they want me to believe that Rumple was training Cora’s other daughter as well, even though they’ve never implied previously that he was focused on training anyone but Regina to be super dark.
it was posted around that time (beginning of januray) at LChat in the OUAT (Regina/Emma) thread. nobody thought much of it, particularly because they named the WW Zelena (people weren’t too keen on the name) and thought it was bogus, until it was reveled that that is her name and that Chris’s character will be named Walsh. So that poster was legit. but i don’t think they posted anything since.
Ah OK then, if it WAS actually posted back then, then I’d say it’s gotta be legit, because no way someone just randomly guesses the name Zelena. LOL
He sounds more and more like Tamara.
That’s why I haven’t been TeamMonkeyWalsh, because it would be just about identical to SecretlyEvilTamara and I figured they wouldn’t go that route again, considering how Tamara kinda bombed. Unless maybe they’ve learned from their mistakes and will do it better this time.
