ParticipantHey guys! Iām coming out of lurker mode to post my new Nealfire video, I really hope you like it š
THIS VIDEO IS PERFECTION! The song choice, the editing, all of it, it showed the character’s journey so well. Seriously, amazing job!!
(also, watching the CaptainFire stuff make me twitch because of how much rug sweeping theyāve done)
For real. Seeing their few little interactions edited together like that, especially with those particular lyrics, GAH, such a missed opportunity. Still holding onto some faint hope that maybe they’ll address some of it in S3B.

ParticipantKFC I’m intrigued by the idea that NewSB might be in Kansas. It had been stumping me how they might get to that place if it IS the Gale farm, because Kansas is a bit of a hike from Maine, and a whole bunch of them seemingly go there and back again and have the same clothes in each place. I’ve had it in my head that WW recreates SB in part because she’s trying to get to where Dorothy is, so that would fit nicely if NewSB ends up in Kansas, not far from the old Gale farm.
thought iād post some love
Love this for reasons!!

ParticipantThe question for me then becomes how did he and Emma meetāwas it long ago or only recently?
No idea about that, but I love the idea that the son of Dorothy and the daughter of Snow and Charming, these people who are next generation fairytale/storybook characters, were somehow drawn into each other’s lives in our world.

ParticipantWhile I like the idea of Chris being related to Dorothy, again I must ask what is the significance in hiding his name.
They were apparently calling him Henry on set. If that is actually his character’s name, then I could see why they’d want to keep that under wraps because not only do we already have a character named Henry, but the name is also connected to the Oz story, so if they officially confirmed, “Yep his name is Henry,” we’d all have a better chance to figuring out the character before he’s on screen. Based on the info from set about him having been called Henry, I think he’s Dorothy’s son, who she named after her uncle.

Participant“Home” is such a massive thing for both of them, not just together, but individually. Emma never had a home, was constantly moved around. Bae had a home and lost it, and longed to find one again. That’s why their Tallahassee dream meant so much to them both, not just as a couple, but as individuals. It was the fulfillment of a long held dream they both had. So if “home” is gonna be a big theme for S3B, I’d say that SF coming back together by season’s end would fit rather perfectly.

ParticipantI honestly donāt get why anyone would theorize that A&E would resolve a love triangle by killing a character. Because each of the men in the triangle are excellent actors portraying complex characters.
You can put an end to the triangle with dialog.
I agree, and I think so do most people who ship either side of the triangle. No one wants it resolved with one of the guys dying, it would be a cheap and unimaginative way to end that storyline. If it IS one of those guys that dies, I like to think that they’d have resolved how Emma feels before the death happens. (My personal interpretation of what they’ve shown us from Emma is that she’s not even actually torn between the two, but you’ll get CSers saying that exact same thing, so I guess it does need to be blatantly spelled out by Emma at some point, because the two different sides have read her interactions with each guy so very differently.)
Personally I think the character whoās story has played out is Snow. I know Ill get clobbered for saying so, but sheās had her happy ending. She has Charming. Sheās made peace with Regina. Sheās forgiven her. She made peace with her daughter and her daughter is safe. She brought her family together and made peace with them all. She taught her family many lessons. Hope. Compassion. Trust. Faith. Sheās had a huge impact on our characters.
I know sheās about to have a new child, but maybe thatās not her happy ending. Emma was her happy ending. Charming was. Henry was. Adventure was. Charming could go on without her. But I donāt think she could go on without Charming.I do think they could potentially kill Snow and make it a believable part of the story, it would pack a massive emotional punch if she died in childbirth, or when their new baby is very young. Getting to raise a child is also part of her desired happy ending though, because she was robbed of the chance the first time around. So despite how far her family has come in recent times, killing her and robbing her of the chance to raise her child again would be a pretty depressing way to end her story. I dunno if they’d go there, but it could be a compelling storyline if they did.
I seem to recall that when asked on Twitter, Matt Mittovich said that the only possibilities were those 8. That he specifically created the slide show of our main characters knowing that it was one of them.
Mitovitch seems to be pretty close to Adam and Eddy, he’s a reporter who has their respect, and I can’t see him of all people writing an article like that, narrowing down the death candidates, if it wasn’t based on some solid info he’d been given. Some writers you expect half researched hack job articles from, but Mitovitch isn’t one of those people.
However, K&H told us that their story would end tragically.
ARGH, sorry, pet peeve, but no they didn’t say it would end tragically. Someone in the fandom mis-interpreted an article and half the fandom ended up assuming that OQ is gonna end tragically. Actual source of the quote:
Trying to be on her very best behavior, Regina/Evil Queen will find a surprising love connection in the third episode ā perhaps with Robin Hood (Sean Maguire), who will appear on both Once and its Wonderland spinoff. “Regina’s love has to be very manly, and Robin Hood is that,” Parrilla says. “I’m getting very excited.” (Alas, she shouldn’t get too excited, since producers tell me this romance will take a tragic turn.)
Nothing was said about it ending tragically. And I’m reasonably sure that Adam answered a question on Twitter, confirming that said “tragic turn” was when she didn’t go into the pub back in the day.
I think it could be Hook that dies. A&E are on set and shows do have a habit of doing a cliffhanger death scene where characters receive a fatal wound in one episode and then die in the next.
Yeah, I know Adam tweeted recently that they tend to visit the set once a month, but it’d make sense if they wanted to be there during a time when one of their main cast is filming their final scenes, so they can say thank you and goodbye to them in person. We dunno for sure if they’ve moved onto shooting 318 yet, do we? We also dunno how long Adam and Eddy have been in town.

ParticipantIt’s no wonder they’re going with Oz stuff at this point in the show if they wanna push that theme of finding home. Whether or not we actually get their take on Dorothy’s story, I think Emma will be quite Dorothy-esque in S3B.
āBelieve a Lost Girl Can Find Her Way Homeā is Emmaās S3 theme, and even though the plot is moving on from NL to Oz, the characterās arcs will continue to develop along those lines.
Yes!
