ParticipantGlad he answered your question, RG. Though now I desperately need the title for this one.

ParticipantLots of interesting ideas, not sure which one I subscribe to myself yet.
I do think this is likely a Regina centric though. There’s no Cora in present day to parallel the flashbacks with, so perhaps Regina will be a young girl in this one? This is the script that Sean said the other day he’d just read and it was amazing, right? Again, that suggests it’s a Regina centric if Robin’s gonna have some cool stuff.

ParticipantWicked, You mention they specifically cast people of Latin descent to be Reginas Family. Then why in heavens H’ll would they use a red headed baby to be her as a baby??
I’ve said this before, but I don’t put too much stock in what that baby looked like. Newborn actors would be slim pickings to start with I’d imagine, and then if you wanted to specify that you needed a half Latina newborn, and you needed multiples on set to make sure there was at least one happy, awake baby at the time when they’d be needed for filming…it’s just not realistic to expect that they could get a newborn that’s a perfect match for Regina.
Didn’t see this posted anywhere, but TVLine updated their Once scoop and added this:
UPDATE: Also in this ep, Eva Bourne will reprise her role as Young Eva.
Thanks for posting that Laurel, good to have confirmation that she’ll be back. Wonder if we’ll see her wearing her fave pair of slippers again.
I don’t think the Witch is after Snow’s family per se so I guess we need to find out if they get on her bad side trying to protect Regina. I can see that happening.
It would be an interesting way for them to twist the story around, Regina and the Charmings having been enemies for so long, Regina has tried to screw with Snow’s life for so long, and now here they are working WITH her to actually try and protect her from WW. Would be a good way for them to show the family continuing to grow and come together.

ParticipantIs anyone else missing the boot on the car. Why is there a boot on Emmas bug.
Think its from season 1, just to show that the bakery is a old set.
Yep. Was the best pic I could find that showed where the bakery is in town, (we’ve seen Modern Fashions in the background of shots before too) and Emma’s car was clamped by Regina in S1, so the pic shows that the bakery, with the ship’s wheel window decor and all, has been there since the beginning, even if we couldn’t remember having seen it.
Looking at the extra spoiler pictures of Henry driving, he clearly isn’t getting a lesson from David. There’s a shot of David jumping into the car with Henry already driving, so I think Henry took it on his own initiative to try to drive for some reason, and David is trying to get him to safely stop the car. They run over a mailbox, almost into another car and not sure what else.
Yep, Henry’s being a little punk. 😛
This whole Henry driving thing goes back to what I said awhile ago, what if Henry has a slightly changed personailty spawned from his new memories. The Henry we know and love is the way he is because living in SB with the knowlege he had gave him hope and belief in something most kids gave up on. Now he is one of the kids. He doesn’t belive in magic, maybe he doesn’t believe in happy endings. Sure he has had a good life as far as his memories are concerned but who knows what he is now that he nece had to believe in fairytales or magic. He could have stolen that truck to have a bit of fun in town…. Thats the gist of this post >>
Are you suggesting that he doesn’t have his old memories back? Or just that he’s having issues coming to terms with the two sets of memories that are now in his head? The latter would make sense as to why he’s acting up IMO.

ParticipantAlso next, he will find the butcher and the candlestick maker,
Well we are getting Lumiere, (though probably not in SB). 😉

ParticipantI love your little poem, KFC. 🙂
Yeah, promoting MRJ to a full cast member when they did would be pretty silly if they were gonna write him out before the season was over. With all the screen time and promo Hook’s been getting this season, it’d make sense if it’s building up to the climax and end of the character’s storyline IMO. If Neal died now, they’d get no media mileage out of it at all, because the character just hasn’t been promoted. They’d get plenty of mileage out of Hook’s death though, because all the media is already focused on him. Neal’s death would be a *fizzle* in the media, and in the show, because they’ve already shown the rest dealing with his death before. Hook’s death would be a *BANG*.

ParticipantAlso theoretically, any of the adult characters could up and leave whenever they wanted so why not give them their happy ending instead of killing them off causing backlash. Henry is the only character that can’t really up and leave because he’s only 12. Therefore if Jared Gilmore did want to leave, there is only one way Henry would be able to go. Child characters are notorious for changing their appearances during shows runs, however normally, the child character is not a big part of the show whereas in Once Henry is a big part so theoretically if Jared Gilmore did want to leave, how would they deal with that other than to kill him off.
Fair point, there could certainly be a good real life reason why they might kill Henry off. I’ve gotta wonder if they really would kill a kid though, especially when there are kids who watch the show? Henry coming into his teen years could give them the opportunity to put him through some teen angst. Maybe he’s got powers that come from being the truest believer and they’ll kick in around puberty and the character could go off the rails a bit as he tries to come to terms with it, and they could show his parents trying to come to terms with it too. So it could go either way, maybe it’s an inconvenience having a kid who’s growing up really fast, or maybe that’s something they could actually use.
Earlier in the chat, I was saying that the only way I could see either of Snowing being killed is if Ginny wanted to take time off to be a full time mum. And if they had plans to have more kids in the next year or so, maybe that would influence her leaving the show too because they can’t keep making Snow pregnant. She could still live with Josh in Vancouver, and do her own acting stuff during Once’s shooting hiatus. But I dunno that they’d kill off Snow, because it would be like killing the hope of the show, and if the person leaving really wouldn’t be coming back even for flashbacks, then Snow’s not a likely candidate.

Participant*wasn’t even aware that SB had a bakery…..*
You’d have seen the big sign for it in the background before, but probably not really noticed it, (I googled it earlier to see if it was a brand new set, and realised I’ve actually seen the bakery probably a bunch of times).
