Participant“Ariel’s coming back, and I may have found my prince charming, but I think that you might need a little naïve mermaid to come back in town, maybe stir up some business.”
YAY! Wonder what she’ll be up to because it sounds like more than just a token appearance (like the Eriel reunion was). Back when the wedding spoiler came out, I figured if it was gonna be Eriel, they’d work them back into the story somehow before the finale, so it’s interesting that she’ll be back.
In the full interview she says she’s leaving for Vancouver in 5 days, so I guess that means she’s gonna be in 317. As if I wasn’t already impatient about getting the title for that ep.
Wonder if Blackbeard is gonna be for 317 and mermaids will be tied into his appearance somehow?

ParticipantI think is really odd that one week after the ouat death spoiler, appears online a article saying that an actor in a tv drama show and that is going to die on screen just receive a proposition to star in a new show,
It’s not a new article, it’s from October, which is why Kranen asked if the truth behind it has been revealed yet.
I’d like it to be for one of our guys because that would mean that we may get to see them again in something else soon. Though that article does say, “I hear he won’t have to keep his trap shut for much longer,” and like I said, that was written way back in October, and the death won’t be happening on Once until, what, April? But if like RG said, it was mentioned just two weeks ago that it hasn’t happened yet, then I guess our guys are still in the running.

ParticipantThe writers, I feel, intended him to be mostly evil. Which is surprising given that A and E have always said that they never wanted to write evil for the sake of evil.
Yeah, Pan was like the exception to prove their rule or something. I think they just wanted to write someone seriously, 100%, unapologetically evil, because it’d be fun to do for a change.

ParticipantExcellent observations, Cinders. This is making me excited to see how various characters might develop in S3B.

ParticipantSo, as Regina cast her original curse, Rumple told Regina he was exactly where he wanted to be. Perhaps when Rumple vanished that’s where he returned to, his dark dungeon cell. Maybe that’s where WWW found him, and kept him locked up until she needed him.
But perhaps that’s where Rumple wanted her to keep him, so he could return “home” to his family, this time under WWW’s curse. Maybe he wants her holding the dark one dagger because he now knows how to manipulate the dark one curse to its ultimate end, meaning she dies as the dark one, not him..
Sorry if that makes no sense.I like it! Dunno that he could be held in his old cell any more though, because TeamPrincess evaporated the bars when they blew the EmmaInk, but I love the idea that he’s now manipulating things to ultimately see the Dark One curse ended. We know from what he said about Charming’s dreamshade that he was still researching new magical stuff, even in present day, so maybe he’d started working on some new ideas for getting rid of his curse as soon as he got his memories back? If he could figure out a way to do that, then maybe he could get out of his “undoing”. Now that I’m thinking about it, it would make a lot of sense for him to have been trying to find a way to get out of that, because what’s the use in being reunited with his son if he’s just gonna end up dead right after, like the prophecy implied. Sure, he’d vowed to kill the “undoing boy” but it always pays to have a backup plan to get out of your foretold doom.

In the one where you can see the definite darker part of the blade, there’s still a little shiny bit right near the hilt by the look of it? I think the dark blotchy bit in the close up might just be the usual pattern that’s on the blade? Her hand is covering the bit that would be the different colour. So I dunno that the pics are convincing me just yet, but I do know that the more I think about it, the more I like the idea that the part that killed Malcolm is rusted, but the end of it that went into Rumple’s body is still shiny.
Phee
ParticipantTo me, it seems the portion of the dagger which must have penetrated Rumple is still shiny, but the part that killed his father has rusted or is bloodstained. Possible it’s just shadows playing tricks. But to me, it tells a story that I can’t figure out.
I’m 50/50 on shadows or an altered blade. Altered blade would be interesting though. Just had a quick look and didn’t see any other pics that showed it properly to be able to compare.
What confuses me about Belle is that this can’t be the first time she’s seen Gold; how does she know based on what we saw in those photos that he’s being controlled?
Why can’t it be the first time she’s seen him? As for knowing he’s being controlled, someone who was there watching said he walked in behind WW, and she’s there waving his dagger around, so it’s a reasonable assumption for Belle to make that he’s being controlled.
He didn’t mean it like that, he mean that he went into the knife in the sense of being stabbed……….I don’t see that as Eddy saying he was trapped.
That’s how I interpreted it too.

ParticipantWhat if that isn’t well, him? I’m wondering whether RC might play an entirely different character from the land of Oz. Some said his suit is exactly the same one he had on. It looks more leathery and the pants are longer.
They do so many off-the-wall and weird things in this show. A Doppelganger wouldn’t be the least of it.
To me it just looks like the same clothes, but with a year’s worth of unwashed wear and tear, and they’re a bit baggier on him because he’s been living rough and lost weight.
However, should the theory gain steam and stick around, I propose that it’s referred to as the Dopplestiltskin theory.

ParticipantWould I be way off target if I speculated that Regina might not know who the WWW is or what her vendetta is.
This is what I’m hoping for if they do end up being sisters. I think it could be interesting to see Regina have the tables turned on her.
In her situation with Snow, Snow knew that Regina hated her, but didn’t truly know why until that day when Regina told her that Daniel had died because of the secret she told. It wasn’t really Snow’s fault, she’d just been a child who was tricked into blabbing, but Regina still held it against her and it drove her desire to destroy her.
If WW hates Regina for something that isn’t really her fault, like jealousy over Regina having been raised with privilege, with their mother doting over her, (in her screwed up way), while WW had been given away and rejected and had to grow up alone, then Regina is essentially in the “Snow position” in that vendetta relationship.
And if they’re sisters, then in both the WW/Regina situation and the Regina/Snow situation, the instigator was Cora, which would tie it all together nicely.
Having Regina experience that other side of things could provide for some development of her relationship with Snow, perhaps lead to an actual apology, which would be part of the family continuing to grow closer.

ParticipantBut, revealing her name on the dagger would be a really cool way to reveal the WWW’s real name.
Ooooo, it totally would be! OK, I want for her to be the next Dark One now, just for this reason. LOL
