It looks like Emma could be holding a picture frame, and in Manhattan, Henry did seem rather adament about getting his camera to take pictures… Could this be a picture of Neal and Henry, or Neal, Emma and Henry? Or of course, Neal, Rumple and Henry?
A couple of other people have suggested it could be a picture, too. I dunno if they really had time for developing photos, but I could also see them ignoring that fact if they wanted her to see a pic, because a pic would be definitive proof.
Given the shape of it, and that it looks pretty flat, my guess was that it’s a cross section of the map from the hotel where it says Tallahassee. I’m not actually 100% convinced of that theory, but I think it could fit. Whatever it is, it’s gotta be something the audience will recognise as well as Emma, otherwise we’re left sitting there all, “Say what, what is that?” when we’re meant to be thinking, “Yes, Emma, beliiiiieeeeve!” So of things that Neal might have, that could potentially be that shape, which both Emma and the audience would recognise, cross section of the map was all I could come up with because she and Neal didn’t have many possessions. She’s already finding the dream catcher, so odds are there might be a clip from the hotel flashback in the “previously on” to remind the general audience about the dream catcher, so why not show the old clip of the map while they’re at it?

Not surprising that she has no plans to come back, considering her new gig. I just hope they actually give a reason for her not still being with the Merry Men when S3B starts up, and don’t just ignore the fact that she’s not there.
Also when Emma says “that’s not possible” she’s in SB looking at a scroll, in Regina’s place.
I don’t think she is. Firstly, I don’t think it’s even the scroll, because that scroll had ornate gold detailing, and there’s not even a hint of that seen in the shot in the promo. Even though it’s in shadow, some of the detailing would still be visible, and it wasn’t at all, even when I lightened the screencap up in Photoshop. Also, we can see the curve of the collar on Emma’s red NYC coat, which is a completely different shape to the collar on her red leather jacket, which we know she’s wearing when she gets back to SB, (actually, it seems she puts it on before they leave for SB, because she’s wearing it in the scene with the Bug). And finally, the frame that can be seen behind Emma’s head in that promo shot, looks to me as though it could possibly be the framework around the doorway between Neal’s living area and bedroom.
So all of that considered, my best guess is that the “that’s not possible” scene is in Neal’s apartment when she finds the dream catcher, and if she’s having a moment like that in Neal’s apartment while Hook’s in jail, it would make sense for that to lead into her getting Hook out of jail because she’s now willing to listen to him.If Will does end up back in SB then I think it has to be around the same time that Snow and Emma were making their way home to SB.
Maybe there’s something to do with the portal in Lake Nostos that he somehow gets sucked in, (like, he’s already floating between worlds and gets swept into the portal as it forms), and ends up floating at the bottom of the well, and Cylice find him there?
2. Cyrus was once human. How did become a genie? Did he become a genie by trying to free a previous genie?

Mentioned the theory I like in one of your other threads, but I’d love it if Amara is his mother and when she gained magic, something she did resulted in Cyrus becoming a genie.
5. Where does the river & waterfall in the Outlands lead? Will Knave still be in WL or another world?
Could be fun if he ends up back in SB. We know that water connects worlds, so he could potentially end up anywhere.

I believe they’ve confirmed that there were no other children for the Sultan we’ve seen, which means Jasmine wasn’t in line to that throne, so I don’t think Aladdin’s an option. But I guess perhaps Jasmine’s father was the Sultan’s brother, and maybe he’s ruling there now?
2. Is Amara immortal? Will we see her again?
I hope we’ll see her again. I like the theory that maybe she’s Cyrus’ mother. Maybe she gained magic for both herself and her son, but her son ended up trapped as a genie, which is why she learned so much about them and wanted to change the laws of magic, so she could free him and make up for her mistake that got him trapped in the first place.
I got the impression Jafar is so powerful at magic because he isn’t using just his own magic, but also channeling hers through the staff she was turned into. He doesn’t have to turn her back because he can utilize her power with his own.
