ParticipantOh, how I WISH I could have the confidence in the writers to believe that they realise what story they’re writing, and what parallels they’re drawing…but alas I think they have no idea.
PS. Ranisha QUIT POSTING THINGS THAT MAKE ME WANNA CRY!
PPS. Did we all see that photo in the filming thread of the half burned Bug? Because I saw it and it made me sad, so I wanna make sure everyone else sees is and shares in my misery.

ParticipantAgreed with all the things people have already said they disliked about this ep.
Also…
In the past, the whole point that they were trying to get to by the end of it was that Merida wasn’t supposed to use the magic stuff, because if she used the magic stuff she wasn’t really, actually proving herself as a hero, right? In order to qualify as being legit heroic and worthy of being seen as such by others, she had to dig deep and do the thing to save the people she loves all on her own, yes?
But in SB, Rumple used some magic stuff to *poof* away the danger and that made him legit heroic enough to be able to pull the sword from the stone?
Am I missing something, or is this completely contradictory, thus contributing to this episode being complete nonsense?
Also, that fake bagpipe sound they injected into the score made my ears bleed. WHAT EVEN IS THAT? They do use an actual orchestra to record the music, yes? Newsflash, there are people who play bagpipes and can be hired to come and sit in on your recording and play the thing for you, so you don’t need to computer generate something that’s allegedly supposed to be bagpipes but actually sounds like a banshee. As the daughter of a bagpipe player, I was offended.
Puzzled:
They said the four-letter word that a bunch of people were so critical of them for not saying last week or whenever it was, but I’m not sensing a lot of warm feelings from fandom for it.
Zelena point blank said to Emma’s face that she killed Neal, and Emma didn’t react at all. Emma seemed pretty OK with working with the person who gets off on gloating that she killed Neal. And they had Rumple say that he hadn’t injured himself back in the day for his son at all. The way they used Neal in this ep was basically crapping on his grave, so no, no warm and fuzzies from those of us who love the character.

ParticipantOK, so thoughts on other things…
Frank is such a professional liar he legit scares me. That whole scene at the hospital, which he just staged for the security cameras, so he’d have an alibi so he won’t get busted for doing whatever it was he did to Catherine (WHAT DID HE DO TO CATHERINE WHAT IS GOING ON THERE). He is STONE COLD.
I feel like the only reason he took Laurel to meet his family is because she’s getting too suspicious and nosy and sassy over the Rebecca stuff, and so he’s trying to soften her up and win her over, firstly to shut her up, and secondly so that if the crap does hit the fan for him, he’ll have Laurel as an aly. She’s gonna legit fall for him, but he’s just using and manipulating her.
Also, how does someone with such a LOVELY family end up SO messed up? WHAT IS FRANK’S STORY?
Tiffany being gang raped, do we think that Asher was actually one of the offenders? I feel like it’s more likely that he saw something, or heard something, he knew who did it, but he stayed quite and helped them cover it up after the fact, because he’s a tryhard who wanted to be in good with the “cool guys”.
Annalise offering up all that information to throw PapaMillstone under the bus, without even warning Asher that she was gonna do it. She really will go to any lengths to take care of business and protect her own. She’s totally TeamAsher right now, but she’s totally destroying his family in the process of protecting him.
And that brings me to Nate saying, “No one’s ever gonna love you that way.” I actually gasped when he said that, because it’s SUCH A BURN. But I can totally understand how destroyed he is right now, and I can see exactly why Annalise is his least favourite person alive right now. What made that line have SO MUCH impact is that it’s something that Annalise has always believed about herself, that she’s un-love-able. I think that’s why she does these crazy things, goes to such crazy lengths to protect her own, because she’s trying to foster a situation where there will be someone who honestly loves her for something she’s done for them. But the way she goes about it is all just so dark and twisted. Urgh, man, WHAT THIS SHOW DOES TO MY HEART.
Oh, and since making my previous post, I’ve decided that the PsychoCousin is gonna threaten Oliver in some way, to get Connor to work for him to undermine the case that Annalise will be trying to make against him. PROTECT OLIVER PLZ!!!
I’m all aboard the Annalise is Wes’s biological son wagon now….she knew WAY too much about his personal life, and I see how they can make it like she gave him up when he was born, and watched from a distance.
I don’t really see how she could have given him up, considering Wes appears to have clear memories of his mother giving up everything she had in some other country to bring him to the States so he’d have a better chance in life. A young, pregnant Annalise isn’t gonna have a baby in a country outside the States. Any baby she gave up wouldn’t be been adopted into an impoverish situation in a country outside the States.

ParticipantSo I just finished watching and SOMEONE TELL ME THAT OLIVER IS GONNA BE SAFE BECAUSE I DO NOT FEEL GOOD ABOUT THIS I’M SCARED PROTECT SWEET OLIVER OMG! Of course I’m worried for Connor too, but he’s used to this crazy stuff by now and Oliver just has NO IDEA. *sits in the corner rocking back and forth*

ParticipantI only wonder the breakdown he’s going to have while trying to get rid of her body.
With the body of the last person he killed, didn’t he dissolve the flesh in acid and grind up the bones? And he didn’t mind doing it because it was the body of someone he hated. Now he’s gotta deal with the body of someone he loved. And how’s he gonna explain her disappearance? Lee knew that Kristen was going to Ed’s place for dinner that night because she was there when he invited her. THIS WILL NOT GO WELL.
Phee
ParticipantJust finished watching, and DANG EDWARD!!! I’d always figured that Kristen would die at some point, but the way they did it, with Ed professing his love as he was inadvertantly choking her to death, and then how he was holding her afterwards, that was all really rather unsettling and heartbreaking to watch!

ParticipantCan we just give Merlin and Merida their own show?

ParticipantI love Rumbelle and all, but having Emma order Belle’s death just seems like another way to tarnish her to make others look better by comparison.
For me, RumBelle got to a point where it was pretty much beyond redemption, so an actual life and death situation where he saves her is about the only thing that would make me consider getting back on board with the ship. Doesn’t paint Emma in a particularly nice light, (unless she secretly believes in Rumple so much that she has no doubt Belle will end up being OK), but as far as RumBelle goes, a situation like this was necessary IMO.
