I also have this image in my head of them together alone in Bae’s cave and he’s explaining everything to her. “This is the Darling family. I lived with them until I was taken by the Shadow. They were my family until I met you. This is…” ect.
I now officially NEED this to happen!
[adrotate group="5"]I’m wondering if the way that PP talks to Rumple is how an older brother might speak to a much younger brother, especially if the father is absent from the picture, and the older brother takes care of the little brother.
I think Pan is probably doing and saying things that their father did. Dad probably used to call Rumple, “laddie” and dad is probably the one who used to make them breakfast, and always made sure the yolk in Rumple’s was runny, just the way he liked it. Peter’s probably always had a well done yolk, which he hated. Every morning he’d glare across the breakfast table at daddy’s favourite, precious little Rumple, with his runny yolk, and little Rumple wouldn’t even have to look across the table himself, he’d just feel his brother’s intense glare stabbing into him.
We need the press release for 307 with the guest cast listed to help pin down what worlds we’re gonna see and when.
I had a theory that this whole future seeing thing is more important than we think. My theory is that the someone is telling the future, not just to Pan and maybe others but also, they are responsible for why we have fairytales from centuries ago even tho in Once they only happened, say a few decades ago. I think someone is letting people, writers etc, in our land know stories that are happening or going to happen in another land and that’s why we are familiar with them here.
I would LOVE for them to address some day how these stories came to our world in the first place.
Perhaps the Shadow represents Pan’s own “shadow of a doubt.” For example, the more disbelief takes hold of Pan, the more powerful that Shadow becomes. Also, the fact that it is perpetually dark in NL makes me think that a shadow has quite literally fallen over the island.
I like that connection, that the Shadow growing in strength has actually covered the island in shadow.
The best thing was when ShadowBelle said “Take my hand.” Now I’m pretty sure that the way how the shadow bring children to Neverland might be a reference to the Metallica song “Enter Sandman” (“Take my hand. Off to Never Never-land).
It would even have sense if Neverland, the Shadow and Pan have a connection to the sandman. Pan and his forces are in tune with every grain of sand on the island. What if everything in Neverland is just made out of sand? The sand of the Sandman which can just be formed by believe?
Also another interesting fact is that some scientists hypothesize that the origin of the Sandman might be Morpheus, the Greek god of dreams. But since the medieval period he began to stand generally for the god of dreams or of sleep. That’s why people guess that Sandman might have his origins in the Greek god.
Why I’m thinking about Morpheus. Well he has the ability to take any human form. The same ability the Shadow have.Interesting ideas, the Sandman angle is definitely intriguing. Pan did say to Rumple in FTL that the only other people in NL were children who visited in their dreams. And Pan is also a Greek god, so that connection between Sandman and Morpheus could tie things together nicely.
As for the Metallica connection, so true about the song lyrics. And they did cast someone from that heavy metal genre of music to be the voice of the Shadow.
What if all the lands are connected now. The tile for 3×10 is “The New Neverland” so what if there are portals between Storybrooke, Enchanted Forest, and Neverland now.
Or not even portals exactly, but an open pathway to travel easily between the worlds? We haven’t seen yet how Pan got from FTL (where he must have started if he knew Rumple as a boy) to NL in the first place, or how he got back to FTL for his Pied Piper gig. Pixie dust is standard, but we don’t have that confirmed yet. Maybe the worlds weren’t quite so cut off from each other at some point in history, and it’s gonna be like that again?
Is it possible that Regina ended up in FTL somehow? I mean think about it, we haven’t actually seen her filming with everyone else (We saw her getting her make-up done on the docks but we never actually saw her socializing and filming with anyone else)… Perhaps as they were going back through the portal she started thinking about the FTL for some reason so the portal separated her from everyone else?
Would she even have been on the dock if she wasn’t gonna be in that scene though?
Hmmm, new idea, maybe Pan follows them to SB, and is still a threat to Henry, so Regina takes him to FTL while they trap Pan and take care of him once and for all in SB? It would actually be a twisted little plot development, because she was planning to steal him away back to FTL just the two of them before, but now maybe she’ll take him back there for a while with everyone’s blessing? Then we could have Regina and Henry run into Robin and Roland. Neal could tell them that they’re there, give them directions to where exactly they are, and say, “Tell ’em I sent you, me and Robin are buds and he knows about Henry, so he’ll look after you both.”
True Love, to me is true love when it is reciprocated by both parties who share it. This is not a new concept, guys. We’ve seen it within the show.
So why is CS classified as “true love” in your list when Emma has not once said that she loves him, in fact she stated that the kiss was just a kiss, and didn’t outright admit to there being any emotion behind it? Meanwhile, Emma has said she never stopped loving Neal, and will probably always love him, which means she CURRENTLY loves him, yet they don’t qualify for your “true love” criteria? Honestly, it just seems that your reasoning is being applied in a biased way, ignoring actual canon facts.
Hook: “I never thought I’d be capable of letting go of my first love, my Milah. To believe that I could find someone else. That is, until I met you.”
Hook: “As you wish.” Translation as everyone knows: “I love you.”
Emma: “I dunno, it’s been a while, I was feeling good, I dunno. It was just a kiss.”
Neal: “Tell Emma I’m alive, and I love her.”
Emma: “I love you, I probably always will.”
If you want to set a rule that the qualifying factor for “romantic relationship” vs “relationship” is that “it is reciprocated by both parties” then by your own logic, SF does currently qualify as “romantic relationship” and CS does not, and that’s not my bias talking, that’s just citing actual dialogue from the show. Unless I’m forgetting an instance where Emma used the word “love” in relation to Hook, (if so then I will concede the point)?
Even if you don’t want to classify SF as a current day “romantic relationship” for whatever reason, they have most definitely had a “romantic relationship” in the past, and as such should not be demoted. Whatever you personally perceive their present day relationship to be, that does not erase their past romantic relationship.

I was wondering the same. For ages I’ve been expecting 307 to be the ep with Neal flashbacks. Not showing any of that either means I’m completely wrong, or they’re trying to keep it under wraps. So basically the promo confirms nothing.
I’m suspecting this episode to be all present day like with 301 and 208. We will still have two main storylines in the episodes, but this time it will be Present Day Neverland and Present Day Storybrooke.
Could be. Though where does the BTS pic of MRJ (and Josh) that Ginny tweeted fit in? It was MRJ dressed just about identically to how he was in Tallahassee. He was wearing the exact same pants, same little loop bit on the side and all, which are completely different to his NL pants, so either MRJ personally owns a pair of the Tallahasse pants, or he was shooting Neal flashbacks. If those flashbacks aren’t in 307, they’ll have to be in 308, but that’s the ep that’s either Rumple or Pan centric, because it’s the ep that’s supposed to have his *cough*their*cough* father in it, so would Neal flashbacks fit in that ep?
ETA the thing I Photoshopped back when Ginny tweeted the pic, to compare to Neal’s flashback wardrobe…
Right after Neal and Emma have been reunited in NL would be a good time for an ep that shows his life either before he met her, or after he left her.TheWatcher, you did NOT just go and put freaking PENNYWISE in your sig.
