ParticipantI’m still on the Sleeping Warrior train. I think its sort of a cop out to pair two tough chicks together and say “here you go lesbians!”
I don’t really see the BraveWarrior potential as being that simplistic. If you look at Aurora, she’s got the long, wavy, flowy hair, (that had become reddish by the last time Mulan saw her because apparently they have hairdye in FTL), she wears beautiful dresses that make her look princess-y, she’s feisty and opinionated and will stand up for what she believes in, and she’s got a lovely Irish lilt. In that description, switch Irish for Scottish and you’ve got a description of Merida. So if Aurora was Mulan’s type, I’d have no trouble believing that Merida would be her type as well. The fact that Merida and Mulan could teach each other archery and swordplay because they’re both tough fighter chicks is just a bonus.
Granted, they might have been told they’re not allowed to give Merida a girlfriend in the show if they have sequel movie plans for her, but I’m just sayin’, I could totally buy that Mulan could fall for her, given who we’ve seen her fall for previously. Someone like Red, or Lily, they’re not Aurora-esque at all, so putting Mulan with either of them would feel a bit out of the blue to me, and would feel more like they were just grasping at something to fill the LGBT relationship void. (Which I guess might be their only real motivation to give Mulan a relationship, so maybe I shouldn’t be bothering to think about which ship I’d find more believable within the already established context of the show, because, well, this show.)

ParticipantI am so surprised with how pro Sleeping Warrior this article is!
They know it’s a popular ship and they want to get people reading their article. Nevermind that Aurora’s totally happily married with a baby, so there’s no way SleepingWarrior will actually be a thing, they just mention it because they want people to visit their site and read and comment. Is Sarah Bolger even available at the moment? I have no idea what she’s up to these days.
I don’t wanna commit to shipping BraveWarrior before we know which eps Mulan is gonna be in and if Merida will even be around by the time she shows up again…but I totally wanna commit to shipping it…I can already feel myself getting disappointed and heartbroken. *sigh*

ParticipantSo, are we going back to before Arthur was King, considering they’re looking at the sword still stuck in the stone?
Whatshisname who apparently thinks he’s The Flash, just, no, he needs to learn his place and get himself a different coat of arms.

ParticipantLion King bloopers
Why did it take so long for me to realise this was a thing and how did I survive without it? LOL

ParticipantRuby is loved and well known and a friend of her mother. It would be very difficult to come back from that. Even if she turns good again and characters forgive her and move on, the audience probably won’t. Which would be bad, because Emma is supposed to be hope and saviour and light and stuff.
I mean, really, the fallout from such a thing should be huge. Snow would have to deal with the fact that her daughter killed someone who had been almost like a sister to her. And given the standings that both Emma and Granny have in SB society, there should be a major upset and rift in the town for a good long while. Only anti-Emma folks would be able to frequent the Diner (the social hub of the town) from now on. All that kinda stuff.
But considering this show isn’t great at showing believable ramifications for things, they’d probably have everyone being, “LOLz bygones”. So even though I think it’s highly unlikely that they’d have Emma kill Red because it’d be too much to come back from, I can’t discard the possibility completely, because this show, these writers. *sigh*
Sidenote: After reading about Red’s return yesterday, last night I ended up falling into a pit of Frankenwolf gifs and fanvids, and it broke my soul a little bit because of the wasted opportunity of it all. *sigh*

ParticipantI admit to being very happy that we’re going to see Red again because I always loved her…but I dare not get too excited for fear of her getting short changed yet again.

ParticipantThis season….Oliver has to find his long lost son!!!!
Stephen’s said he’d like to see Oliver find out about the kid. Guggenheim has said they’re not planning to do Connor Hawke ever. When questioned further he said that that character is mixed race, and the mother of Oliver’s child in the show was white, so no Connor on the show. So who knows when, how or if they plan to re-visit that story line.
They did multiple Arrow panels at DragonCon, so here’s another one…

ParticipantHook being there with Charming and Belle leans towards it being present day.
After seeing that new promo where Emma’s all, “Teh battle for my darkness begins,” or whatever, I think they’re gonna set that up in Camelot in 501, with a caption on screen that it was about 5 months ago. Then at the end of the ep they’ll flash “Present Day” on the screen and we see that everyone’s back in SB and Emma’s evil, so we can be, “Oh noes, they lost the battle.” Then all the FTL stuff through the season will be flashbacks to the intervening 5 months, seeing how Emma went all Dark One, while we see them all in present day SB trying to figure out how to turn her back.
Lancelot is most likely alive, I agree. But the question becomes, where has he been this whole time?
Maybe Cora had him magically restrained so she could run around looking like him, but either when she left FTL, or when she died, the spell broke and he got free and went home to Camelot.
