Hm, I like the idea of Belle being Rumple’s happy thought lol. But I don’t think this particular scene will be a manipulation from PP. In one of the articles posted on the other thread whoever was reviewing it said something like it being very caring and sweet scene and more than they could’ve hoped for. I feel like if PP were behind it it wouldn’t be a very positive scene lol. Eddy and Adam keep saying that NL is about imagination so I think Rumple will be imagining Belle while he’s there.
Yeah that’s what I’m thinking too. They’ve said that NL makes you confront your past, and I think part of that for Rumple will be thinking about the faith that Belle has in him to be able to do the right thing, and thinking about that will cause his mind to conjure up an image of her.
Interesting that they say “Mr. Gold”, I guess he technically still is although now that he’s not in SB I keep thinking of him as Rumple. They probably say Mr. Gold to let viewers know it’s something that happens in present day and not a flashback.
If the promo pic is any indication, he’ll probably revert completely at some point, but yeah, for the first couple at least, he’s really just Mr Gold in Rumple’s clothing.
Phee, I like your idea of Emma only being able to see him if she is a true believer. However, I think that she will probably have to believe in herself, who and where she came from, but most importantly she has to have hope and believe that she can be as good a person as her parents are.
Oh I agree. I’m sort of imagining something like in The Neverending Story, where there’s that gate that Atreyu has to pass through, and it’s the two sphinx statues that blast you if you don’t truly believe in yourself. Maybe there’s a similar test that Emma has to pass, in order for Henry’s location to be revealed? So in order to get to Henry, she’ll be forced to face who she truly is, and how her past defines her and who she wants to be in the future, and she’ll have to have enough confidence in truly understanding herself, otherwise rescuing Henry simply won’t be possible.
Given that traditionally, PP doesn’t exactly believe in a mother’s love being a reliable thing, (thinking his own mother replaced him with a new baby), he may not expect Emma to pass the test. Or maybe he sets her this task because he’s curious to see if that motherly love and belief is actually possible?

They do shoot the water scenes in a tank. The pic of Ariel and Eric that was in TV Guide had a little caption on it that said she shoots in a tank, (and her tail is gonna be CGI). Still, they’d have shot any Ariel/Ursula stuff while they were shooting 306.
We haven’t had the 307 centric ID confirmed, but I’m guessing it’s a Nealfire ep, because of Ginny’s pic where MRJ was dressed like Tallahassee, so there may not be any FTL flashbacks for that ep if that’s the case. It’d actually fit kinda neatly, if 307 has just NL and our world in present day and flashback.
PS. There’s nothing at all wrong with being Ariel crazy. 😉
I think leaving SB alone for a bit was probably necessary. They’ve already gotta show present day and flashbacks in both NL and FTL, and by putting SB aside for a bit, they could keep the storytelling a bit tighter.
Also, as someone (Kranen?) suggested the other day, if we spend a bunch of eps following the NL crew and see the days passing there, then come back to SB and it picks up right where we left off, (Emilie was shooting on the docks, dressed exactly like Belle was when the JR left), then that illustrates how time passes differently in the different worlds.
Ursula stuff would have been in 306, and they’re on 307 now,(maybe even almost up to 308?). And the last we saw of Ariel, she was in SB, so unless she’s gone back to NL somehow, she’s got no present day scenes with Regina right now.
Maybe when Neal arrives in NL he brings Robin Hood with him. Adam and Eddy have been hinting left and right over the last few days that the way they interweave Regina and her new love interest is going to pay off big time. I’m thinking that though both are still in NL, RH and Regina could be off somewhere doing their thing in helping rescue Henry using different methods from the Charmings.
That idea totally works for me! 😉
Henry and PP can’t be biological twins, but I do wonder if there’s something to them sort of being two halves of a whole, with Henry being the light and PP being the dark.
Observations: Tink is dressed very creepily and not like we saw with Regina. Emma is holding a lamp, it looks like the one from Peter Pan the Disney film when they capture Tink.
The lantern does seem similar to the one that Tink is typically inside, but with Rose on set, in costume (think I’m gonna call that look CammoTink), then she must be interacting with them when she’s human sized. Maybe she goes back and forth, riding along in the lantern, but hopping down onto the ground sometimes as well?
I’m growing very suspicious about where Regina is. First Ginny says that they haven’t worked together for a while, and now she’s not in the group shot. Hmmmmmm.
