They may not change the storyline of what they originally shot, (though they’ll re-shoot it with new actors anyway), but Rumple’s father was previously in 1 scene, and will now be in 2 eps, which means they’re expanding Rumple’s backstory and will be showing a decent chunk of his family life when he was a child, which means there’s more significance to that family life than just showing how his father died. If anything, I’d say that the expansion of the father’s role suggests that there may be some merit to the brothers theory.

Even if Snow’s reaction was one of recognition, that doesn’t necessarily mean she has to have actually been there.
Maybe back in the day, she met Ariel, either in human or mermaid form, but either way, if Ariel’s originally from NL but was living in FTL at the time, she could have told Snow about it, maybe even told her what a dangerous place it is.
Or, as many have speculated, perhaps Snow had contact with Tink, and through her could have some knowledge of NL.
If shadows survive from the ripping process they should contain all of ones fears and darkness, and something core to humans. What if that core thing was the ability to tell right from wrong? I believe that while when u have ur heart taken from u u are stripped from free will and emotions, with the ripping of a shadow u are stripped of the ethical decision process as well as being controlled by ur shadow, which would be controlled by ur fear, the fear u no longer possess.
what would this result in? a fearless person who does things only because one who is ruled by fear and need for power tells him. and that person lacks the ability to tell the motivations for their actions, or more so their shadows.
That’s a really cool idea, I love it!
Something else I’ve wondered about with shadow ripping is that Felix told Hook that PP did it to people who lied to him, so it’s obviously done as a punishment, but why would PP deal out that particular punishment? I’d been thinking it probably gave PP some control over the person, so they couldn’t lie to him again. That could tie into this idea about having your shadow removed taking away your ability to make ethical decisions. If a person doesn’t have the ability to question PP’s actions any more, then they also don’t have the ability to lie to and betray him again.
Example, lets say PP had his shadow ripped from him, he is fearless does not fear death, nor capture, nor war, nor Hook, nor Henry. However, his shadow sees that Henry could result in his death. Shadow tells PP to find the boy so they could defeat an enemy which would lead to great fortune, ie Rumple and his powers. PP thinks that Henry will lead Rumple to his downfall, the shadow fears that Henry will be his downfall and controls PP like a puppet, Rumple thinks Henry is his downfall, so does Felix. however Henry ends up being PP’s downfall, b/c of Emma and magic and stuff, and Rumples downfall is from PP, who finds a way to take his powers, without however killing him.

She told Regina (when she was disguised) that someone in another forest taught her to hunt. General consensus is that she was talking about RH.
Bet they didn’t actually know it’d take them to NL, and they got a rude shock when they landed there. All they knew was, they were taking Henry to whoever wanted him.

We’ve got no way of knowing which ep that’s from, but seeing her at the water’s edge does sort of initially scream, “rescued by Ariel”.
Not only was Charming tied up in front of this house in probably episode 3×2, but this also looks like the house that young Regina and Tinkerbell were walking in front of in 3×3! I’m pretty sure they’re all pics of the the same set, so it may feature in back-to-back episodes (unless they’re actually all from the same episode).
Like I said the other day in the US Weekly thread, I think the scene with Snowing and the Dwarves is from 303. Same place as the scene with Regina and Tink, just at a different point in the t-word, (Snowing scene is events that happened right after Lancelot married them, I posted screencaps that show their costumes matching the end of Lady of the Lake). A set that elaborate, they probably only had it up for one day of shooting before tearing it down again, so it’s all the same ep IMO.
Or it is the place in which PP rips shadows. Creepy!
A shadow could totally be referred to as a “dark hollow.”

303 is probably gonna have a fair bit of Tink backstory, even though it’s a Regina centric, so I dunno that they’d be giving Tink an actual centric as soon as 307. Possible, because Dark Hollow/Pixie Hollow, but I’m not sold on the idea yet.
I had a little bit of a crack thought about 306 maybe being the ep where Neal arrives in NL. If Ariel was in FTL at some point, we’re probably gonna see her hopping a portal to NL at some point, or at least talking about going back there, and if Neal’s portal involves water, he may need to be hauled out of it on the NL side, which they could have Ariel do, even if she’s human in present day.
That’s based on pure speculation, so could be way off the mark, but if it were true, it could be a good lead into a Neal centric for 307. In present day he can be tracking down Emma and/or Henry if he’s found out somehow that they’re in NL by now, and that would likely involve him making his way to PP’s hideout. And in flashback we could see him being taken to PP’s hideout for the first time.

It’s sorta infuriating, because the improvements the fans have made with edits really have just been tweaks on the ideas that ABC already had. Just a little more consideration from them in the first place and this whole mess could have been avoided. *sigh*
The official season 3 group photo is very Lost-esque but that’s probably unavoidable due to the fact Neverland is an island with a jungle.
I have no issue with the group pic, aside from the fact that Regina is over-Photoshopped and should be facing forward. Other than that, it’s great IMO. Some people have complained that it’s too much like the LOST promo photos, but I really don’t see the big deal. Like you say, they’re on an island, so what did people really expect? Also, if you go back and look at the S1 group photo for OUAT, it’s really not that much of a different setup, it’s just that the S3 one has a jungle.
