Sneaky casting call writers are sneaky. 😛

Best name suggestion I’ve seen on tumblr has been “Braeves”.

Though I do think Bae/Red ship (if it exists?) should totally be Bae-o-Wolf.

    😆

I also think it is possible that belief is the power Pan used to make Tamara’s taser work to defeat magic creatures, sort of an extension of the way fairies die in Peter Pan the play (not sure if it happens in the movie). It’s the lack of belief that kills them, so maybe Pan taps into that with people like Greg and Tamara who don’t believe, or rather, believe that science and mumbo jumbo of heavy metals will work, so it does.

    Love this idea!

Sites where you can track the locations of ships say that the actual Lady Washington is in Seattle right now, so I guess this has to be the set ship.  But we know they’ve been using an indoor set for the ship so far this season.  So who knows what’s going on.  Maybe they just needed the inside set previously because they were shooting with mermaids, but if it’s just gonna be general, JR6 (or 5 if Rumple goes off on his own) hanging out on the ship stuff, maybe they’ll shoot on an outdoor ship?

It takes Henry dying for her to feel true love, that emotion that sweeps out of her and breaks the curse. I don’t think it was her belief in magic at all. She doesn’t kiss him thinking she can save him and wake him. She thinks he’s dead.

During my recent re-watch of S1, that scene where Emma kissed Henry gave me SwanFire feels. She didn’t just love Henry purely for himself, he was also a living part of Neal that she’d been able to re-connect with. You can’t tell me that that time Henry popped up and scared her in the back seat of the Bug, that she didn’t flashback to how his father had done exactly the same thing. Being around Henry inevitably made her think of Neal. Henry dying was Emma losing both of them.

Well if Neal had stayed with Emma, and she loved him, the curse would have broken when they entered town perhaps. Or perhaps not, perhaps it would have taken someone she loved to be under threat again for that magic to well out like that.

Schmacky did a great tumblr post just the other day about, “what if they’d stayed together”:

    https://www.tumblr.com/schmacky/59615261416/what-if-neal-stayed-then-what

Basically, it never would have worked.

So I think August guessed Bae would be trouble, and Bae accepted it. Both may have been wrong, or not, but I think they were both caught off guard by Emma getting thrown in jail.

I really hope we get some more flashback info to clarify exactly how Emma ended up in jail. Adam has tweeted that it was not Neal who called the cops, so we can safely say that he’s not the one who ratted her out. Next most likely suspect is August, but, like yourself, I’d prefer if it wasn’t him, and I like your idea that August could have actually pointed out that Neal that turning himself in would have got Emma into more trouble.

If THO had sent August to break them up, I could see someone from THO taking that extra measure of making the call to ensure she ended up in jail, sort of like insurance for the breakup sticking.

Anyway, back to your original point about how them being pawns can detract from the true-ness of their love. It’s a tricky topic with “destiny” and “fate” and whatnot, because on a certain level, it seems to take away a person’s free will. But I think that, generally speaking, when THO and PP aren’t involved in manipulating your life, the universe/God/whatever higher force you believe in, presents you with opportunities, puts you in certain situations that can point you towards where you’re supposed to end up, but at the end of the day, if and how you end up there, and what you get out of it, comes down to how you react to the opportunity being presented. Many a time, I’ve felt like there was some outside force that was sticking a roadsign in front of me with a big arrow screaming, “this is the turn you’re supposed to take”, but I don’t always take it, (then I sit and wonder what would have happened if I did take it, and drive myself insane wishing I could turn back time). For SwanFire, that outside force that steered them both on their separate paths that eventually collided, just so happened to be PP/THO.

Once they did meet, the actual falling in love bit was their own doing. Maybe they didn’t need to fall in EPIC love, they just had to like each other enough that the DNAs of the Saviour and Bae’s (Rumple’s and Pan’s?) bloodline could come together to make the genetically specific kid that PP needed. For that, they just needed to sleep together, and that doesn’t always = true love. Then the genetically specific kid had to be raised under specific conditions, in the specific place that would make him believe in magic, and cause him to draw the Saviour in to break the curse at the specified time. The only thing that was really necessary for the Curse to be broken was true love’s kiss from a mother to her child. Odds were pretty good that no matter what Emma had or hadn’t felt for Neal, she was still gonna love Henry, because he was her flesh and blood that she’d thought she’d lost forever until she’d gotten this miracle chance to be with him again.

I guess what I’m getting at, is that in grand scheme of things, Neal was likely just needed as part of the equation in order to be the specific sperm donor so that Henry had the right genetic makeup. He was later used by THO as a means for Tamara to sneak into SB, but again, it was only really necessary for him to feel a connection to Henry in order to get him there, he didn’t necessarily have to be drawn there by love for Emma as well.

So the fact that they do still have love for each other, even after all this time apart and all they went though, that’s not because it was a necessary part of the overall plan, it’s just because they love each other. If anything, it makes their love even more special and strong, because they were used, and put through hell and heartbreak, but look at them, still loving each other in spite of all that, against those odds.

Liam’s casting call was a guest star for 305 (Hook centric) and Eric’s casting call was recurring starting in 306 (Ariel centric). Looks like two different characters, despite the fact that Liam’s description was fairly Eric-ish.

There is at least one thing we can read between the lines: they wanted Ariel and saved her to fit the story TO ME = more than two episodes. They are going to use her a lot. They’ve been waiting for this.

Yep! The fact that they’ve been wanting to show Ariel’s story for so long and have obviously planned it specifically, makes me so excited to see what they have in store for her.

Also, what one earth does it mean “how she (Ariel) GOT to NL??”

Dunno, coz we’re apparently seeing other mermaids in NL in 301, so it’s not like Ariel is an isolated case. If she “got to” NL, then I’d be inclined to think that all merfolk “got to” NL at some point, and it’s not their native land?

In my head we’ll have one Bae/MAP centric episode between 8-10 where he rejoins Belle in SB and then they go after the JR6 together, so that episode could be heavy exposition into Philip’s tale.

I’m undecided about whether he’ll make a pit stop in SB before NL, but a Neal/MAP centric between 8 – 10 sounds about right. I’m just not sure how relevant the story of Philip’s soul rescue will be the further into the main story we get, so if we don’t get that story in the first 11, I doubt we ever will.

Unless MAP get out of FTL at the same time Neal does, so they’ll still be around and potentially relevant in the back 11?

The RQ hands over Cyrus to Jafar who tries to use him but can’t because Cyrus has been freed by TL. Alice comes back to WL with the Knave and Bunny Rabbit to find Cyrus and free him from the clutches of Jafar and the RQ. Jafar realizes that he cannot control Cyrus until he also has control of Alice because their hearts are intertwined.

    I like this!

I’m just thinking that because it’s traditionally a part of Pinocchio’s story, it has to have happened in the past. Also, we’ve seen Pinocchio and Gepetto escaping from Monstro, which was meant to happen immediately after the Pleasure Island part of the story. But then August does describe Phuket as an, “Amazing island, full of pleasures.” That boy never learns and can’t resist an island of promised pleasures.

    Original version:

The Fairy promises that Pinocchio will be a real boy next day and says he should invite all his friends to a party. He goes to invite everyone, but he is sidetracked when he meets a boy nicknamed Lampwick who is about to go to a place called Toyland, where everyone plays all day and never works.

    Disney version:

On his way back to Geppetto’s house, Pinocchio once again encounters Honest John and Gideon. They convince him that he is sick, and the only cure is to go to Pleasure Island as a vacation.

In Once, we’ve seen him get sidetracked from his task of helping Emma when another boy invited him on a trip, and then while in Phuket, he gets sick. It’s kind of a mashup of the other two versions.

What caused him to go to Pleasure Island/NL(?) in the Onceiverse is hopefully still to be told. It could add to Sneaky Fairy, because Blue was watching over Pinocchio, and if he was somehow accidentally on purpose “sent” to NL…that potentially has ramifications all the way to Blue actually not minding that Pinocchio went through the wardrobe, because it was actually part of the journey he was meant for, and a continuation of his grooming as an unwitting agent for THO, which had begun when she’d helped him go to NL for a little while.
